I've been going here for over 10 years. Today we sat in the lux box and had the 15° tilt screen. The chairs recline and are very comfortable. They have seat heaters too. There are partition walls to divide the chairs from the next set of chairs. The tilt screen seemed wider and I felt like I had to look left to see it all. The regular screen doesn't make me have to tilt my head. Large popcorn was $10.25. You can add your own butter flavor oil at the counter. The theater is clean. Luckily, at the last Renaissance Festival, I won two complimentary movie tickets and a popcorn for Paragon Theatres. Today, I watched the new released movie 28 Years Later in a comfy recliner chair. Bryan was super helpful and nice. He got me up to speed on all the things new at Paragon. The pizza area is now behind closed doors but you can still place an order at the concession stand. They still make them fresh and hot! But now there's even more room in the lobby for everyone. The seats are even more comfortable and the popcorn is fresh and hot. I recently visited Paragon Theaters in Davie, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for more than just a typical movie night, this place really delivers a full experience. This Paragon location is relatively smaller than the one in Coconut creek but still nice. The dine-in feature is convenient which was the man reason for me coming here. Being able to order food right from your seat and have it brought to you adds a nice touch of luxury that you don't usually get at standard theaters. The hype is all true - $5 Tuesday movies. Went to see the Smashing Machine with Dwayne Johnson and had comfy recliner seats and the theatre was clean. Half way into the movie I realized it was a horrible flick but only lost two hours of my life and $5. Also, getting out of the plaza onto StRd84 was horrible at 6pm. Will try another $5 movie on next Tuesday and hope it's good. read more

The Odyssey doesn't play in theater 3. Opening weekend and purchased food and drink for an afternoon date that required hiring our sitter. The opening credits came on, then no previews and the actual movie was dark and blue. We could barely see. They restarted it 3 times and within the hour nothing worked. The worst part was a manager was no where to be found. I'm thankful the fellow moviegoers had enough class to not scream at the teenagers and young adults working. The movie is sold out everywhere. Do better Paragon! The manager owes everyone, especially his/her staff an apology. I was a member but not likely returning. read more

Paragon ridge is our second home! We have been coming for years and we love it. This theatre is seriously underrated. The prices are economical compared to other theaters which is always a nice plus. The concession stand offers personal pizzas, combos, hot snacks, sweet treats, popcorn, and you can also order alcoholic drinks. If you order a pizza, they will give you a chip that will vibrate to let you know it's ready. BUT we love purchasing the Lux Box-In Theatre Dine In service option. Once you find your seats, on the side table you can scan the QR code and order from the convenience of your seats on your phone. It will keep you updated on the progress of the order. And the staff will deliver your food to you at your seat! We love how convenient and relaxing this is. Hubby and I ordered one of our favorite IPAs, Voodoo Ranger. For food, we ordered a MyPi Pizza - the Southwest Chicken. For a movie theatre pizza, it's pretty good. Now let's talk about the seats. They are the definition of QUALITY. They are soooooo darn comfy. Recline-able AND you have the option to heat your seat! We also love the privacy as it's boxed in. We feel like we are in our little bubble. My husband and I went to see the new Jurassic Park movie at the Paragon Ridge movie theater. The Fandango app makes it very convenient to purchase tickets and choose seats. We were warmly greeted by the manager who rang up our order of a couples combo quickly with no issues. The large Diet Pepsi's were cold with just the right amount of ice. The large popcorn was warm and freshly popped from the popcorn machine. I went to the area where you can add butter and popcorn seasonings to the popcorn. But, alas, I was informed they no longer provide the seasonings, just the butter. For me, the kettle corn popcorn seasoning is an integral part of the movie theater experience. I was truly disappointed but went into the clean theater and watched the movie in our comfortable Lux Box seats, which are worth the extra money for the extra privacy and comfort. I came here to watch Death of a Unicorn. This movie theater has super comfy chairs but the place looks run down. The facilities look outdated and unkept. They do have some food options like pizza and nachos but we didn't go for those. The popcorn I got was stale which was disappointing as I love popcorn and there's no excuse to get stale popcorn at a movie theater! I would not return. read more

I was here a few weeks ago for my birthday to see The Equalizer and had such a wonderful experience that I knew I had to come back soon! This afternoon, as soon as I completed my office work, I came right over; purchased my ticket to The Creator, ordered my new favorite Pizza Bianca with a large Coke Icee, and then nestled in a comfy Lux Box. To my surprise, the recliners have a heating option which was perfect on a rainy day. The common areas were tidy and the restrooms clean. Concessions was fully manned and the service was friendly and swift. I just can't say enough about this theatre--I love it! read more

I came on a holiday afternoon so the crowds were decent. two long lines at counters going very slow. used the kiosk to get tickets. then waited on line for popcorn. 5-10 minutes later still no one at the counter, she disappeared and never came back. everyone just waiting in line! I finally left the line since I was already missing the beginning of movie. Took my grandson to see A Minecraft Movie. The lobby was very clean as was the snack area. The woman at the snack counter was efficient and friendly. We found our seats and really enjoyed the recliners and the movie. I live about two hours north on the coast. Swear if they had recliners in any of our theatres, I'd watch more movies in person instead of waiting on Netflix. . Grandson had a great time and so did I. That's what it's all about. read more

Loved this theater! Felt like a "mom & pop" style theater. It is pretty small but lovely. We got the lux seats that are in their own little cubby. seats are heated/cooled and fully recline. we were able to order food and drink right from our seat. super clean. theres a table that pulls out and you can eat comfortably right at your seat. the pizza was just ok - tasted like it was missing salt - but the popcorn, beer and candy was perfect for our movie night. highly recommend! read more

I dont know what more you could want from a theatre. The food isnt Michelin nominated, but it isnt half bad. The pizza's are surprisingly decent and prices are very fair. The ticket prices are also very fair and the Lux Box seats are very comfy recliners with heaters built in. The theatre has always been clean when we've gone, which is huge for us. Hopefully it stays that way. We drive 25m to get here and skip our local Aventura theatre because this one is nicer. read more

It's definitely my favorite movie theater to see a movie. I absolutely love the recliner seats. Since the initial renovation, they have managed to find a way to make it even better. I'm not sure if it's in all the theaters, but they now have a bunch of two seat separated with a wall on both sides, giving you a little bit of privacy. My wife and I will snuggle together as if we were alone in the theater. Each seat also has a small table for food items such as pizza. You can order it from your seat and they deliver it too. They do sell alcohol and My Pie, the pizza restaurant, is still there, but they have eliminated the seating part and turned it into a party room. It is a much better use for the space. They do keep the whole place very clean, and the people working the concessions there are a bit on the slow side, "just little every other theater," but they are very friendly. read more

This is an underrated theater. It's nestled in the same plaza as roundup in Davie, right alongside 595. They redid the theaters with reclining luxe boxes where you can order your concessions from the QR code and they bring the food and drinks to your seat! This is a win if want to relax or are running late and don't have time to stand and wait in line. As a quick suggestion to the employees, please bring napkins when you bring the order. The seats are heated, which makes for a really comfortable viewing experience in a chilly theater. It's clean and the staff is friendly and efficient. Recently renovated, it makes watching a movie a much more enjoyable experience. It is an older theater, with new chairs. The theaters are small, so make sure to preorder online to ensure a seat. The seats are super comfy, splurge a little and get the lux for only $10.70, $5 on Tuesday! The seats recline and are private little alcoves of 2 chairs for a feeling of privacy. These seats are even heated. They provide a QR code, which allows to you order food directly from your seat. The other seats are brand new as well, and only cost around $6 as their every day price. The food and drink are pricey, but not as bad as other theaters. It will run you $18 for a 2 drink and popcorn combo. The candy is steep, at $5 a box. They also have pizza, although I didn't see any being made/ordered, the menu sounded interesting. Bring a blanket, get some snacks and relax while watching a movie, as if you are in the comfort of your own home. read more

Took me out of the scene, it was so confusing trying to understand why that was playing at the moment and then I realized it was from another theater. Had a great experience enjoying The Color Purple movie with my family on Christmas Day. We walked in the doors where we were greeted by the polite staff members. The aroma of buttered popcorn corn filled the air and I just knew I had to buy some. To me the popcorn might have been a bit old or stale because it was a bit cold. The reclining seating on the inside was completely comfortable with enough room to move and not fill stuffed in the chair. All and all I enjoyed my time at this theater. Since moving out of the area, plus pandemic, and parenting we haven't been to the movies a whole lot, but we came here yesterday afternoon. It's gone from "this place is great" to "it's ok" The quality of the place, as well as cleanliness does seem to have dwindled since we used to be regulars. For instance, no paper towels or hand dryers in the bathroom. In addition, when we bought the tickets online, there was no indication of which seats were grouped together, so we inadvertently bought seats we thought were "together". However, when we arrived there was a partition between them. Thankfully the guest next to us graciously switched seats, but that is definitely something to fix with their seat reservations system for the dine-in seats. read more

Very nice modern theatre. Clean seats, clean theatre. The lux seats were absolutely worth paying extra for. They are both cooling and heating, you have your own cubby with a plus one. The seats recline all the way back and tuck you in without you affecting seeing the screen. Quality of the screen was great as well. Popcorn was yummy, slushes were great as well. I would definitely give this business a five star. Regular tickets is 6 dollars and Lux box tickets is 10.50 but no matter what you pick their both worth the prices. The surround sound give the perfect feel while watching the movie. I ordered popcorns , nachos and a patron margarita everything was delivered to me fresh and fast. I can't leave out the unlimited popcorn seasoning for free. I wasn't able to order a pizza because the business didn't have any dough. But the server was able to tell us the Bianca pizza is the best and we will try it on our next visit. If you're thinking about visiting this theater go with your first mind because it's worth it. Over COVID, I admittedly got comfortable with faster movie releases at home. I have a big TV and sound system, so most movies are enjoyable enough on the comfort of my sofa. Recently though, we've done a few films at Ridge 8 - mainly only the Tuesday due to the price - and it has been a pretty solid experience overall. We've been in the same screen (3) each time, which is marked as being the ARI15 Extreme one. I believe the only difference to the others is the 15 degree screen tilt, but I might be wrong. I really like the size of the auditorium, a few rows of regular seats before two rows of booths, then another few rows of seats. The screen size and projection quality is good and it's been very clean each time we've gone in. I'm not sure the benefit of the screen angle, but I assume it's mainly for those front few rows that are very close to it. We use the booths each time and enjoy the privacy - you don't really notice people on phones, walking around, or talking during the movie so much. The arm rest goes up so it's cozy, and the reclining seats work well except for two things... they all seem to make pretty farty sounds when adjusted, but as per my photo that I tried to recreate as close to my eyeline as possible... when in full recline it cuts off part of the screen! Same effect in each seat I've tried so far. Kind of a crazy design flaw! The only other downside is the food options appear to pale against the other Paragon cinemas in the area. Limited to a few options, and when we ordered one time half the food was canceled due to being out. Seems easier to eat prior to going in really, which given the bargain nature of the Tuesday screenings is probably a smart financial choice anyway. The downtown IMAX is still my number one choice for wow factor, and The Gateway/Movies of Lake Worth for themed screening nights, but for regular movie going fun Ridge 8 will remain our go to for sure. read more

Done going to theaters to see movies. Every time we go something happens, mostly disrespectful people talking during the move ( not the theaters fault). We were early for our movie, I was going to order our drinks and popcorn at the front but the cahsier said we had lux box and can order at our seat. I waited till right before our movie started to order 2 drinks and a popcorn- 25 min later no food or drinks. I had to go down to the concession and ask where our snacks were and was told he was the only person up at the concession ( there was at least 3 other workers) and he was busy, yet there was no line and maybe 2 other people who had JUST walked in. We paid extra for the luxury of having our order delivered to us and with a added tip and it took 25 min on a extremely slow day I can only imagine the wait on a busy weekend. And the price of a cup of soda and popcorn being $7-9 each is robbery. I've learned my lesson and never going to the movies again. read more

i went with my cousin to see the grinch for the holidays. we picked this theater because they serve food and drinks during the movie. it's pretty easy, you just order through their website (i believe we scanned a QR code to access the menu) and they deliver it to your seat. great food, typical "bar food" type menu, but hot and fresh nonetheless. our favorite item was the sugar donuts, yum ! the movie was messed up in beginning. we missed like the first minute or so i guess but not enough to ruin the movie (plus ive seen it already many times, lol). they did give us free tickets and popcorn vouchers, though. everything was great, i will be back soon to use my complementary admission and popcorn :) read more

Duana is one of the rudest managers I have ever dealt with. We had an issue with some drinks that were ordered and she was extremely condescending when we tried to explain our situation. She didn't let us fully explain our situation and kept on cutting us off with a hostile tone. She shouldn't be a manager as she lacks bacis customer service skills. read more
