Went to Correctionville road location in Sioux City. Place is absolute trash, Ive had never had any issues before today using this wash or any other automatic wash in Sioux City, now I cant use it cuz the roll-bar on my truck which had been on there for 2 yrs hood was still dirty as hell, tore off the visor on my passenger side window, then say u want a refund and was told he had to send a message, Ive had refunds before when the girl charged my card twice and thats not how it works. I got a refund immediately so I know he was lieing, ill wait a few days and see bout this refund, $32 bucks for $hitty customer service, never again, Ill stay with Power wash or sunnybrook..Bryan should of taken lessons from Josh on customer service.... read more

We purchased the shine package. One person at the beginning of the wash who squirted a bit of soapy stuff on one side of the car. Went through the wash and it looked like water/soap hadn't even touched the front of the car. Went through again immediately and it was no better. There was a free wash with purchase that day, but won't even bother to use it. Worthless. read more

I no longer have a car to wash so I cancelled my membership and it didn't cancel till the next day, they charged me $43 and told me I had to wait 24 hours for the charge to show up - so I waited and I called back for the SUPERVISOR to be extremely rude to me and told me the previous person did not notate I had called in and what we discussed so I was SOL just wasted $45 and don't even have a car. These charges do not show up on their website under my account. 23.53 would be charged on the 17th of every month. $28.88 would be charged at the end of the month. I was a member for almost 2 years. Over that time the quality of the washes steadily got worse. I'd go through for a second wash and it wasn't much better. Now that it's a mega company it's horrible. 2 days ago I went through the Correctionville location and my license plate frame was ripped off and I went into the office. The technician located it and it was mangled from being run over. They gave it back to me with a weak "sorry". No more! Find a better place. I've been to automated car washes many times before but this was my first time at Silverstar Car Wash. For whatever reason, their conveyer belt wouldn't pull my car through. I've NEVER had any previous issues elsewhere. Of course, they blamed it on me and/or the car and said I should go to the dealership to see what's wrong with the car. I guess they are also mechanics. The kid on duty, Capone, was so insistent that his car wash couldn't possibly be to blame that I started to wonder why the heck does he have this blind loyalty to some shitty company. He'd probably be an asset to a more respectable place. And he wouldn't refund my money and said that would have to be done through corporate. Right. I see why they buy out all the competitors because they just raise prices and they suck. $27 for a wash and the car is still dirty and has soap left on it because they move you through so fast now. First, they ran my debit card for a rechargeable card twice, charging me $54x2. then they told me the charges would not go thru that "this happens often and the charges never go thru". I've a loyal customer with Silverstar car wash for the last 3 years, lately their service went doen the drain as they fail to spray down my wheel wells. After complaining to management about this, no improvement! Even when ask to spray down the wheels wells, the attendants say they did, but they don't. Silver star is a complete joke. There Customer Service is terrible. I had a receipt stating that my service was canceled. I check on my account 3 months later and they are still billing me. When I got in to touch with Customer Service even though it is on your receipt as of 11/7/22 your membership is canceled you need to go online and cancel. If I could give no stars I would. The person I spoke with was Jennifer I am sure she is in a call center somewhere. Silver Star has become big enough where they don't care about their customers or care if they lose customers. It was embarrassing and I feel like the cash register employee should inform new customers how the car wash works before you go through. I had a big spot of bird doody on the rear bumper. Paid over 16 bucks. The young men who were supposed to remove the big stuff with their brushes barely touched my car. Shout out to Silver Star near 69th and Louise for the worst car wash AND worst customer experience! If you wash your car at night when it's dark, make sure you drive back around the vacuum equipment to the led lights and get out to make sure you car is clean (all of you do that right?) because if you do not notice it until the next morning when it is light out, too bad, they are not going to rewash and are not even interested in looking to see how bad of a job it was. Not only does it look like the entire back end of my car was missed, the window has areas where it was not even hit with water. And the "lady" at the drive up is not helping their business at all. Very rude. Treated me like I did something wrong, hello- your car wash isn't working properly! That is your responsibility not mine! They will not miss the business of a former customer who has used their washes since they opened in town but eventually when they do this to enough people they might get the message loud and clear. I paid $3 extra for the "Tire Shine" But after going through and coming out and parking I realized my tires were no more shiny than they were when I went in. I circled back around and went inside to ask them about this and they informed me that it wasn't really tireshine that it was a tire sealer and protectant and it usually took 3 to 4 passes through there for your tires to actually start shining. Three dollars is not much to lose my cool over but I really don't appreciate being misled. It's the principle of the while thing. On a positive note, every person I spoke with was more than willing to let me go back through the car wash again but that was not what I went there to do. I used Silverstar for 4 years. One day when I went to get my car washed, the service from the girl in the box was terrible! It was me and one other car, the other car had it's gate up to go, the car just sits there as I wait and it says wash is busy on my side. Five minutes goes by, then finally mine opens, the other car is still sitting there talking to the girl in the box. I go, the girl jumps out of her box and runs in front of my car and waves me to stop. Then waves the other car to go around me, all the while she's yelling at me, it's not your turn! Then, the other car person yells at me, accusing me of trying to hit her. I just left, and I cancelled my membership and will never, ever go back to Silverstar! That's how they treat their customers! I got the $16.00 option and went through the line. It was very quick. I got out after and noticed the side of my car was basically untouched. Because the sign at the end of the wash says "we'll wash it again if you're not satisfied" I went and spoke with the lady sitting in the booth. No big deal, go through again and tell the passenger side attendant to brush where the problem areas is, she says. I roll around and advise of the problem area which was replied to by "I'll try to get it off." He literally did not touch the passenger side of my car with the brush. I've had around 10 car washes with Silverstar. EVERY SINGLE time my car still has dirt on it or bug marks on windshield. They don't wash your mats, but you can put them in a machine that knocks the dirt off them. Waste of time and money. Will someone please bring Rocket back?!! read more

First time visitor, my car was definitely extremely dirty on the outside it's a 2015 Subaru Legacy nothing to fancy or hard to reach. Mainly went in to clean off bird poop from my car and it didn't get barely any of it off. Now I'm not 100% complaining they did send us through again with the premium package we had purchased and the 2nd premium i thought for sure it would get the job done! I was slightly unimpressed with the results of soap all over my car and dirt still on my car. In my honest opinion you are better off spending $10 At a self serve carwash or just doing it yourself. I would have given it a 2 star if they didn't try and fix the mistake but since they did that's another 2 stars in my book. All in all $14 wasn't worth it id expect that wash from a $8 gas station one. read more

We have been members for some time now.... Never a problem... Wash is great....Actually we gave two vehicles and two memberships...

It's a convenient wash but my car is never fully washed. I as well bought a new car went thru the was for a month or so and started to notice ware on my rim. Been about two months and my rim has ware on it in 3 different spots and a lot of scratches. Trying to get in contact with them is impossible. Then when you get connected with a location they don't answer and tell you to leave a message which would be great if the answering machine worked. Sum up if you have a truck or something with thick tires this might be the place for you. If you have a low car with low profile tires do not even dare to put your car thru. I am canceling my member ship today. They do not care if they mess your car up. read more

Silver Star has amazing vacuums that are FREE and I didn't have to wait to use them since there were many!! They also have friendly attendants who offered me a towel to clean my dash/interior while I was going through (great idea!) and they sprayed my car before going through the auto wash. At the end, they also had towels that I used to make sure there were no spots left after the dryer. I would go back again! read more

I always buy the 6 card pack and I have yet to figure out what services I am supposed to be getting with this premium package.....some days they pre spray, other days not, some days I get a wisk down on the running boards......other times not? They do have good vacuums and the actual car wash does an adequate job......just wished there was some consistency with service. read more

Overall the quality of the car wash is definately worth the trip to Marion and 57th Street. It removes the grime that some of the other cheaper places leave on the car. We were disappointed that the attendents didn't spray under the wipers and the carwash doesn't remove the grime from there. They did have alot of people coming thru at the time but they need to do it right to keep them busy in the future. read more
