Terrible car wash! Brushes Miss a lot, especially on hatchbacks. Drying is a big miss and while they provide free vacuum and towels, I would prefer not to have to do this myself. Like a pack of bullies, they came into town and bought out all the good car washes. The membership seems like an ok deal so I got it. Did not renew because the wash is such a poor quality. read more

When SilverStar first opened the people always pre washed both sides of the vehicle and now just the front of the car, windshield, driver side and back of car, not the passenger side. The quality of work went down hill. read more

A while ago I cancelled my membership, because I felt the wash was marking up my car and not cleaning it fully. About a month ago I tried a single wash to give it a try, and it completely marked my car up all over. The service was courteous, but the "claim" that they had me do with ownership was basically bogus. Ever since I've visited management has blown me off or they've not responded to a single email. I would give them a 0 if I could....the rollers damaged my license plate, and when I went to report it, the manager was nowhere to be found. I called the 800 number and was told I have to go back to where the car was damaged. Left my number for them to call, never received a call. Will never go back there again. read more

Very rude check in person on February 9th at 3:30 pm. I waited at the gate for 10 minutes and shouted at the attendant as I was on the outside lane. He shouted something back really rude and I told Silver Star a hundred times that I am a Florida resident with a license plate on the back of the vehicle only and the camera won't scan it. New system is totally inept and the people are under paid and rude. I guess that's what you get for what you pay your employees. Crappy help. I've been a customer with three accounts since Silver Star came to Sioux City, day one. In Sioux City, Iowa, there is really no other choice for a car wash and I really hate when they bought Rocket down on Gordon Drive. Silver Star has the market closed up in Sioux City but if I had another choice I would change. Just a piss poor managed outfit with no regard for customer service. I rated the service two stars because the car washer guys are at least a little accommodating as they will spray off my mats. I've given this location so many chances hoping it would get better. They clearly have an issue finding quality staff. It's run by kids and usually just one working. They only spray down the drivers side. Even after going thru again because it's not washed good and I ask. They do not care. I've contacted the company/owners multiple times. I just get a response that appears auto generated. For the last six months or more only half of the vacuums work. There are on many occasions no towels. Whoever owns this needs to spend more time onsite. It's a joke. Which is incredibly unfortunate. read more

I called n suspended my subscription and right after I suspended it they charge me and say it went threw at 3am which was un tue bc I looked at my bank statement a half hour before and was nit pending or charged. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Unfortunately if you are reading this, you are probably coming here to make a negative review of your own and it's too late to save you money or the frustration of trying to reach a Customer Service rep. If it's not too late for you, take time and read the long list of negative reviews on Google and Facebook before purchasing a pass. Car wash is OK, sometimes. It usually takes more than one pass to get it clean and you will need to take the time to wipe it down to make sure the back is cleaned. They make it impossible to cancel your membership. I have gone on their website and put in my information to cancel and I get a message saying my account cannot be found. I went to the location and was told they can't cancel it for me. I have called the customer service number several times and the message always says they have a higher than normal call volume and suggest leaving a message. After leaving one message, you cannot leave another message because it will tell you they have your message on file and someone will be calling back. I'm still waiting for a call back and I'm not expecting one at this point. They claim to be locally owned so I looked up a local contact on Siouxland Chamber Of Commerce website. The number provided there sends you to the same generic Customer Service Number. I have been a member for over a year and there have been times, I go to another car wash immediately after finishing my wash with Silverstar. read more

First time to try the new car wash on Hamilton Blvd. Silverstone. Very nice, new facility !! Took the next to highest priced 1 time wash. I ask that they pay extra attention to my wheels,, they are deep but cleanable with the high pressure washers they use. I admit the car got a thorough cleaning and the air cannons blew most the water away, but when I got home the car was very water spotted and I had grease on the passenger side door. I checked my wheels and they were a little cleaner then when I started but not much. When I was there business was slow so they had plenty of time to do a better job! I was disappointed and I doubt I will return. read more

Great car wash. First time here and will be coming here from now on for all of my car wash needs. Good customer service and the wash does a good Job. Driving up from kc in the evening left my vehicle full of bugs. The service people in the front of the wash tunnel took extra care to pre treat and treat my grill, windshield and side view mirrors. I came out of the tunnel spotless. read more

This is the worst carwash I've ever been to. I paid for a monthly subscription that is automatically deducted from my credit card every month. It was only $5 more than a single wash. The total wash 16.06 at that time. The wash itself is a joke. It never get the car clean...in fact, the moment I left, there were still dirty spots on my hood (and everywhere else) and I barely touched it with my finger, and it came right off! Then the second billing was almost $22! I went in to ask why, and they said that they've recently increased their rates on the 2 lowest tiers. They gave me a phone number to call to get a refund, but they refused to give the refund. They said that they sent a notice out in February through email stating the rate increase, but I hadn't signed up until April...so I had no idea. Then I was informed that what I had was a promotional rate...which I was not informed of when I signed up! For a carwash that doesn't clean your car, then fails to inform you that they are going to increase the price by 33% with no warning, I recommend avoiding this place like the plague! read more

I went through the was hand I thought I would have to pick up the pieces from my 2018 vehicle. Lost my cover over the trailer hitch on the back and almost ripped off my mirrors. Had to stop the wash so the help could free my vehicle. Not a good experience, especially with a newer vehicle. read more

Very disappointed waited in line for 30 minutes got into the washbay was told can't wash my car because my runningboards did not go up wanted me to back out through the 15 cars that were waiting in line behind me that information should be posted at the entrance I will never go again. read more
