Morgan Sound is primarily a business to business business company. So voice phone them to see if they can solve your problem before assuming they can solve your problem. In the professional world, Harmon International-Samsung dominates. JBL was absorbed into Harmon. JBL, still today, has support voice lines answered by humans and a web list of authorized professional service centers by geography. I contacted my local (Portland, Oregon) authorized professional JBL service center. "Well we are backed up for 12 weeks and our minimum evaluation charge is [expensive]." Basically that Portland, Oregon business does not want more business. It is understandable, with the shortage of skilled specialized professional technicians, no fault, no blame. So it was worth it to spend $60 per round trip to travel to Seattle for better service. I'm sure Morgan could provide the service by shipping too. I had several problems to solve with a vintage pair of JBL professional monitors similar to today's JBL L100 classic. I bought them used and these were reputedly used and abused by a professional producer of a famous band. One woofer had a rip in the cone from being overworked, and one mid had some crinkles in the cone and a big wrinkle at the edge. So I brought the woof to Morgan. After I dropped it off for evaluation, I was in my vehicle doing some phone stuff and the repair professional ran out saying they found an original new old stock cone kit in their inventory. Today many 40+ year old speakers rely on reproduction spare parts. In the JBL pro world, they actually did (and do) speaker engineering using exotic test equipment. I bought these old speakers because I recorded on them professionally in my early career, so understand how they translate. At that time, JBL used paper cones with Aquaplas elastomeric coating. Aquaplas is not made anymore, though there are reproductions of unknown equivalence. Morgan had the original cone replacements with original Aquaplas. Picking up my newly reconed woof, I brought in my suspect crinked mid which had an exotic cone material. They were, "checked, we have the original recone kit for that, and we can do it while you wait, for this price. It's speced in our year 2000 JBL repair manuals for both the H2 and H3 speaker variations." That's service! They run incoming speakers and repair results through a tone listening test. In my observation, they have at least 3 repair staff. A senior person, mid-Zach, and young-Zach. I dealt with young-Zach. They all are recommended. Morgan Sound, hang on to young-Zach. Every interaction I had with him was stellar. I'm sure it would be the same for all your service staff. While I was there, the senior person was working on a Genelec. That company, based in Finland, is one of the top 5 professional makers of recording studio monitors in the world. Morgan seems to be best with voice calling. Morgan Sound provides professional services at a reasonable price including professional speaker reconing for professional speakers.

He was also very open with availability for calls anytime which I really appreciated during a busy workweek. During our wedding day, he and his partner were great working with my photographer and felt like they were new friends with how kind and fun they were during the whole process. Most importantly, we have stunning videos from our best day ever that we can watch anytime (let's just say the actual day was a bit of a blur!) and since we had a very small wedding due to Covid, this was a wonderful way to share our celebration with friends & family who couldn't be there in person. I was married 9/28/14 and had previously arranged all vendors except for videography because when doing the initial budget I had to make priorities, and dj and photography came first. As my wedding date neared I realized I really wanted to have the ceremony at the very least recorded. This vendor Transcend Videography along with many others replied to my ad. Based off his email response, website presence, videos of previous weddings recorded I decided to hire him over the others and he agreed giving me a set price and confirming he would be there. I had the money envelope prepared for him just as I had for the makeup artists, photographer, dj, hairstylists, etc. It wasn't until I was walking down the aisle and I looked around that I noticed no one was filming. I was extremely disappointed but refused to let it spoil my day. Later on I asked my sister, aka one of my bridesmaids if she had seen the videographer or paid him and said she saw no one either. Because we had the extra money I spoke with my photographer and he stayed an extra hour so I got more photos and he said had he known in advance he could have been able to set up a video camera too :( This was my wedding, the most exciting, expensive and happiest single day in my life. And all I have is a tiny, grainy, cell phone video my aunt took of the ceremony. All he had to do was let me know in advance he couldn't do the job. Even the night before. Something! I could have found a replacement. If this is how Brad Betts plans to start his business, I suggest to all brides to look elsewhere!

As someone who is also in the service industry I am the first to be understanding but this is inexcusable. Sharing my experience so another bride doesn't have to go through the same thing. Colton and I hired DA Productions DJ & Lighting for our wedding. Following our event I reached out to David (See Message Below) to express my thoughts and have been completely ignored. As Brides we spend so many hours thinking, and planning and I would hate to have someone else have a similar experience. We are extremely disappointed with our investment and unhappy with the service you provided. It began with you not being able to be located 5 minutes prior to our ceremony to mic up our officiant, and then entering the home numerous times to get things without asking. Had this been a traditional venue those things would have not been okay you would've gone to the commons areas along with others. After spending hours perfectly curating the music it was truly disappointing, when you played the wrong song for my dad and I to walk down the aisle. To end the night you were found sleeping in your car on multiple occasions, and then taking nearly 2 hours to clean up.
