It is a very well kept course with very highly maintained greens that you can tell is a definite gem compared to the other courses around the area and is very well priced for the yardage seeing how normally short nine holers would be the same price. The gold attendant was a little rude when we were there when we walked on without calling to reserve on a Friday and we think he just was doing it more because he was annoyed at us but other than that little hiccup, definitely check this little place out. I also lived that other golfers were not right on top of us giving amateurs like me the heeby jeebies with people watching my hook or slice. Again check it out and clubhouse is great and wide open overlooking the 10th and the 18th holes.

Three of…read moreus had spent a long time playing games, earning tickets, and working hard to save up for a prize we all wanted. When it came time to redeem our tickets, we spent nearly 30 minutes talking and trying to figure out the best way to use them. We wanted to make sure everyone agreed on what to get, and eventually we decided that the giant beach ball would be the perfect prize for all of us to share. At first, we were told that we couldn't get the beach ball because it was supposed to be won through a specific game or method. We completely understood the rules, but after spending so much time earning tickets and carefully deciding together, it was disappointing to think we wouldn't be able to get the one thing we all agreed on. That's when Luis stepped in. Instead of just saying no and moving on, he took the time to listen to us and understand the situation. He saw how much effort we had put into earning our tickets and how long we had spent making our decision. Luis showed kindness, understanding, and genuine care for making sure we had a great experience. He talked with the other employee and helped make it possible for us to redeem our tickets for the giant beach ball. What might have seemed like a small thing to some people meant a lot to us. Luis turned what could have been a disappointing ending into a really memorable and positive experience. He treated us with respect, listened to what we had to say, and went above and beyond to help us. Employees like Luis are the reason people want to come back. His customer service, patience, and willingness to help made our visit special, and we are incredibly grateful. The arcade is a hit for the kids (and adults), even if it's on the pricier side. We did have a lane glitch, but the staff got us moved over quickly. When you arrive, they go over the process with you. Bring your golf clubs! They have 3 simulators. We were in a large room with ample seating and movement. The issue we had was with the simulator being accurate on a shot. The pickleball courts look like a lot of fun! They also have waitstaff who will get you a beverage or food or both! I didn't really notice less range with the floater balls (but I'm newish at this), and when we finished, we watched a guy hitting 300 yards +. The $5 bucket of balls is generous, they provide plenty of T heights, and crew were friendly and appreciative of bringing back the buckets. Only a couple of boats have yardage signs, so I asked staff about ranges for boats, and they gave me the rundown, adding that the boats can drift, and they do have to reset them, so that 150 yard boat might be 160... that type of thing. Next time will probably visit the restaurant just up the hill to eat and sit outside watching other folks swings/stances.

There's an automatic vending machine that's $5, if I remember correctly. No change machine on site so bring exact change. The owner is an incredible guy that lives at the top of the hill. The course is in great shape, and there are some fun and unique hole designs (and most holes provide an opportunity to get a hole-in-one, which is a major factor in making miniature golf more fun, in my opinion). The only two suggestions I would offer is adding more umbrellas/shade for guests who play during the day and add more fun themed obstacles to the holes themselves, rather than just having visual themed objects outside of the putting areas. In my quest to find the best mini-golf course in America (ME is the 29th state I've mini-golfed in), I would give this course an A-. Definitely would come here again if I find myself in Maine!
