After a few minute search I found Joe at Advanced Marine in MI (I'm in Mass). He happened to have exactly what I was looking for and I received a perfectly rebuilt lower unit for my motor. It only took 3 days to arrive from the day I placed my order! So happy with the price and prompt service. That was 2 years ago....Recently, my son managed to blow out the lower unit again ("I didn't hit anything" :-) ). I called Joe...and even though I was out of the warranty period...Joe took care of me. I sent him my lower unit and he gave me a great price on the repair! With this, we brought the boat into Todd to have him fabricate a new cover. He looked at the OEM cover, stated that it was good material but needed a few alterations and reinforcements of which he performed for only $167. He could have easily sold us a $1500 one. I recently had an issue with an OEM motor cover and stitching. I brought that into him expecting to wait a week or two and pay $30-40 for the repair considering how busy he is. Todd immediately repaired it and charged me nothing, even after offering compensation, that is customer service! We highly recommend his business, he is honest and does outstanding work at a fair price. This is an actual customer experience, not a planted review.
