I drove over , walked in the worker walked up to me asked me if i was there to get a chip repair, i showed him where it was. I was done in half an hour. Wow! Superior service! Definitely surpassing the 5 Star review. Would recommend this business for all your auto glass needs! I got a stone chip a few weeks ago. With this extreme cold weather we have been having in Michigan, the chip slowly started to spread. The size was still less than a dime, but I didn't want it to get any worse and become a windshield replacement. I called them on a Saturday and verified that a stone chip fill was in fact covered by my insurance (I have Citizens). They said they would call them for me to get the verification code, or I could do it. I knew calling my insurance myself would be quicker. Within 30 minutes I had the verification code and was back on the phone with Simbol setting up my appointment. Would you believe it- they were able to get me in on that following Monday at 2pm! The stone chip fill was fast! And to be honest, unless you're looking for it real hard- you can hardly even see where it was. Simbol did an amazing job!! Not only were the friendly, fast and efficient- but it's completely unnoticeable. Best part- it didn't cost me a penny- completely covered by my insurance. This place gets a high recommended from me. I needed my back rear window defrost replaced because it broke connection. In order to do that, the whole window needed to be replaced based on the design of certain Chevy vehicles. I took it in to them and after a week it broke again for no reason and the handle on the window fell off. I took it back for a whole new widow. They fixed it and in less then a week later it broke. I then called again to be fixed and they said it wasn't their problem and were very rude. I learned later that they lied and never replaced the window, just sottered the wire back on where it would inevitably fail again and fall off and charged me for a new window. These people are not to be trusted. It ended up being a wash and had to get it fixed again somewhere else. They also never return phone calls, so don't expect to be called back if they say they will. read more

I didn't have time to go to their location and have my windshield repaired, so Ray (front desk) said that he could send someone over to my house to do the work. How great is that?? I didn't have to leave my house and the technician repaired my glass in my driveway. Ray and his team were very courteous and it only took 2 days to get it done. I was having a new rearview mirror with backup camera installed in my 09 Fusion but the installer could not remove existing mirror. He suggested a windshield shop could remove it without breaking the windshield. I called Simbel on 23 mile and was immediately helped by the most courteous lady. I had a stone chip on my windshield from a small rock on the highway. I was nervous how much it would cost to repair since I am tight on money. They said usually insurances cover it so they called my car insurance and got a claim number to get it covered. So nice of them to do that since I'm not very familiar with all that stuff. Well I never thought that I would have such an awesome experience from a business that works on cars (let alone one that I felt so thrilled to leave a positive review) but here we go... Easiest car repair in years. Tony was fantastic on the phone and getting me quoted out for a new windshield for my 2001 Jeep Cherokee (thanks to the tree branch that fell onto it during the storm last month). Entire staff (at least that I had contact with) was stellar. Normally after a car repair you feel taken advantage of but at this Simbol I felt like I paid a fair price and was treated like an old friend. What a horrible experience. The owner told me that it would cost a certain amount to replace my windshield. He led me to believe that I had no options but that one set price. I find out later that I could have chosen a much cheaper window. Money was very tight and I would have chosen the cheaper window had I known a cheaper window existed... especially since this was a leased car that I would be turning in in just a couple of months. Why would I choose the more expensive window for a leased car I was turning in? When confronted with this, the owner lied and said that he gave me the different price quotes on the phone. He did not. He gave the highest price and said that is what it will cost to replace the windshield. The same thing happened to a friend of mine who is taking measures to report them to the Better Business Bureau. If the owner had just admitted that he quoted what he thought was a higher quality window, that would be one thing. But to blatantly lie and say he told us about our different options, when in fact he did not, was just despicable. read more
