The center graciously picks up the seniors and drops them off five days a week. During Covid-19 months, the center reached out to my mother and other attending seniors by keeping in touch with them, checking thier status, vitals and delivering meals to them. Yes there's a club and they meet every 1st Thursday of the month at the OneGeneration Senior Enrichment location! My curiosity was peaked and the fact I could get a free plant on my first visit sealed the deal! Parking is plentiful in the front. Outside I thought the building looks small but it's a trick of the eye because after entering through the double doors the room is HUGE and has a stage with a big screen to project the power points. It's so spacious! I was so awed by the plants that were set up that I forgot to check the walls in case they posted what other events OneGeneration hosts but I'm sure I can find it online! As for the club it's so fun! I didn't know what to expect but I already learned some new things and there were so many species I never heard of before. Apparently once a year members also compete and bring their plants and there are thousands of cactus and succulent submissions that get judged over the 3 day event. After walking around and seeing so many new species and hearing other people's stories I'm now excited to be a part of the club! Tonight they also hosted Botany Bingo! I think they do this every few months and when you win you can choose a plant as your gift! I couldn't believe it I won the first bingo round and got a gorgeous cactus!!! For each round up to 10 people can win, and then there's 3 rounds giving plenty of people chances to win! So fun! I cant wait to research what other events are hosted at the One Generation because I had so much fun!

A WARNING! Some…read moreseniors are stronger than others so know your limits. While it's partly my mom's fault and partly my fault for encouraging her to go there, she did injured herself and shorten her life. They should have warned people and make sure people can actually do those exercises. So use caution if you go there. Make sure you take care of yourself. Your life is more important. If something don't feel right, STOP!

The Center has numerous activities for Seniors, as well as Lunches for a couple of dollars Monday-Friday. Della a very competent, friendly Lady is in charge. Love her outfits!!! I have been eyeing this park for a while now and finally got the catch to venture up north! It's so beautiful and clean and very well thought out. - shaded parking structure - very clean restrooms - lots of grassy space - picnic tables that are fully covered (able to reserve) - baseball field - basketball courts - tennis/pickleball courts - bigger and smaller playground - ant hill to climb and slide - butterfly climbing structure - (pro/con) - wood chips What more could you ask for? Only downside would be the playground itself isn't very shaded so on hot days, it'll be rough! Highly recommend to check out if you're in the area! . Also very close to many shopping plazas! And the janss marketplace mall!

I had to come home from Havasu to see my babies, and I took them here for a day at the park…read more This was a lovely park, and my kids loved it right away. There's a lot of space for them to ride their scooters; the playground itself is big and beautiful with multiple slides and great flower theming. The best part, though, is the ant hill that they build into the park. My kids love it because it is a literal hill that you use cardboard boxes to slide down. This was the highlight for them, and they spent most of their time just sliding down and having a blast with cardboard boxes. I live in North Hollywood, so this was a drive, but it was worth it so that my kids could have a blast, which they did. This park is at the top of our list!

I've been going to this Sr center for about 3 years. I take…read moremy patient who has severe Alzheimer's. We always enjoy our time there and they provide fun classes and fun parties that he's still able to enjoy. We love Kari, Rosie, Ms.G, Cora, Paula and Liberty. They are all the best listeners and I have come to know all of the team personally. Kari as the director always goes over and beyond for the Sr. Center and all the Sr's that attend.
