Several months ago a friend and I ventured out to the famous luckets flea market. It had been raining, there was mud everywhere. After enjoying our time visiting the flea market we found ourselves with a car that would not start. I ran through the mud towards a tow truck to inquire if there was a a gas station within walking distance. He said no and continued on his way. We reached out to AAA and began our one hour wait. Lucky for us the simkhovitch family came along more than willing to provid us enough gas to get to the station and a hand pulling us out of the mud we had sunk into. They did it with a smile and with no expectation of a reward. We were so extremely grateful. They were AWESOME. As an aside...turns out the gentleman in the tow truck( who didn't offer to give me a ride to the gas station) was the very same person AAA was sending our way an hour later! Dustin at Simkhovitch Transport and Towing came to my rescue last week when my car wouldn't start. I was in the Martin's parking lot in the Sunnyside area of Winchester, it was bitter cold and my car wouldn't start. I have roadside assistance through my auto insurance, and they contacted a towing company to come help me. I got a call right away from Simkhovitch towing, wanting to confirm my location and to say they would be there in 5 to 10 minutes. When he arrived, he was polite and helpful, and asked me questions about the problem with my car. He checked my battery and said he thought that might be the problem. (old battery) He jumped the battery and my car started right up. He asked how far I was going and assured me that I should get home okay...and I did! I am a 24 year old woman who was travelling alone from New York to North Carolina when my car broke down on the side of I-81 in an area that was entirely unfamiliar to me. Ronnie was arrived fifteen minutes before the estimated time AAA reported and did everything in his power to help me feel safe and calm my fears while I was getting my car towed. He mentioned his wife had a similar problem and offered to check the car once we got to the mechanic's since the shop was closed. By some miracle my car started working again and Ronnie insisted on leading me to my hotel to make sure my car didn't break down again and to make sure I got to the hotel safely since I didn't know the area. A superb experience after being extorted by TK Towing (insisted on $300 cash only for a 5 mile tow) to let the other tower have my car. The tow driver showed a genuine concern, which was in stark contrast to the serene, chilly indifference of the State Trooper who called TK. The Trooper seemed only concerned to have the info he needed to write me a bench warrant for failure to maintain control. the Simkhovitch driver got me where i needed to me, stayed at the rental agency to help me unload my car, and was genuinely concerned that I could have been killed and was upset that I could have been the cause of somebody else suffering an loss, injury, or death. My car manufacturer's roadside assistance carrier assigned Simkhovitch to flatbed tow my disabled sedan to my car dealership. I can't imagine my experience could have gone any smoother! Our car broke down in a grocery store parking lot on the hottest, most humid day I can remember. Our roadside assistance operator sent Simkhovitch to try to jump it, but towing was required. The driver was cheerful and VERY experienced at providing quick hook-up and safe transportation. We needed to ride along, and he was very solicitous of our frozen food (which we would not have bought if we'd known) as well as our comfort. His conversation was congenial and intelligent. My car broke down on Interstate 81 near Winchester VA at 10:30 in the morning. My insurance company contacted Keen's Towing to tow me to the dealer. After sitting in the hot sun for 2 hours Keens never showed up. When I contacted them, they said it would be another hour. I gave up and contacted Simkhovitch Towing. I explained the situation to the very nice lady that answered the phone and they had someone there in less than 30 minutes. Ronnie and Simkhovitch Towing saved the day! When my car broke down leaving my mother and I stranded it was scary and stressful. Ronnie went above and beyond to make us feel safe, get home safe, and get the car to a safe place to be fixed. He ultimately ended up driving us all over town to change the battery and help us find a reputable repair shop and then dropped us off at our home. Highly recommend!! My car broke down on my daughter and I at Walmart after I had just dropped off hubby out of town. Their response time was impressive! Had an accident in Warren County on December 5. Was hit by two deer. Officer let me drive it home but when GEICO did the inspection there was no way I could drive it. He told me that Simkhovich was going to come get it in about two weeks because there are so many of these accidents. It turned out that Dustin could come right away. 2 July 2018 My critique--- Simkhovitch Towing did an excellent job for me on 1 July 2018. I had a problem with my fuel tank which disabled my pick-up truck. I phoned AAA, they dispatched Simkhovitch. I locked my keys in the car after getting home from work. The Simkhovitch team was there within 45 mins of the call and apologized for taking so long.
