These guys are great. I'm very happy with the work they have done and their knowledge of an older (1996) vehicle, plus their unwillingness to take shortcuts, which is often done with older vehicles. That said, this isn't a posh place, and the waiting area is pretty shabby, to the point my wife does not feel comfortable waiting there for a few hours. It's also very out of the way for our needs, so we have found another shop that better suits us. But that is no reflection on their knowledge or honesty! Awesome place!! I am always skeptical of taking my vehicles to a garage but OMPS has renewed my faith in 1 at least. Their price per hour is $60 for cars and $75 for trucks!! My wife picked up our 05 Ford Excursion from your shop today, 7/19. She promptly informed me that the cruise control was not working so I called Omps to see if anything with the repair could have caused this because cruise control was working when the truck arrived to the shop. The response was , no the repair has nothing to do with the cruise control. There is a pressure sensor on the master cylinder (replaced by Omps) that will not allow cruise control to work if the sensor is bad. So when my wife arrived back home, we opened the hood and found that whomever worked on the truck failed to plug the wiring harness back to the pressure sensor. Took it for a test drive and voila, cruise control worked. I'm glad I didn't have to drive an hour back to have Omps look for the problem. Thought you should know and hopefully whomever I talked to learns something from my email. read more

My husband and I always try to use local people when looking for services. We walked in to have our motorcycles inspected. My husband had not even finished the question when the rude man behind the counter cut him off and told us to come back after lunch. It was 9:00am. This is the second time we have attempted to work with them and received rude service. We will not try a third. The state requires inspections, their sign says they do inspections, why are they angry when you ask for an inspection? Don't do them if it is that much of a hassle. read more

If you have to deal with a break down in the middle of the night, you'll have no worries if you're anywhere near Winchester. Brad did an incredible job towing us, drove us in his personal vehicle to a hotel, and then returned for us the next day. In the meantime, they fixed our truck for a reasonable price. The employees here are seriously the nicest bunch of guys to ever work at a garage. They're polite, respectful, fast, nice, good workers... I mean anything else you can think of that you want in a garage they are. These guys are great. No- nonsense, they rotate tires for under $10 and change oil for $12 if you bring your own oil (which I do). They also helped my with my radiator drain once, for free, when it was leaking. Great people, just be sure to call ahead to make an appointment since they are always busy (a good sign, right?!) read more
