Charged me a little under $1,000 for a lockout service. They replaced my door handle for "better security" and it was totally fine before, now my door handle falls off every 2 weeks and needs to be screwed back in constantly. I have to keep a screw driver by my door now after spending one thousand dollars for them to come to my house and "fix" my door handle. $500 was the 'service fee', all for a service that wasn't done correctly at all. Contacted "Simko" and had a locksmith come out and replace two locks on the front door, which were jammed, cost $997. One month later, the new lock jammed and I couldn't not open the front door. I called at 3 pm and was advised someone would be out the next day. I was disconnected. I called back several times and was unable to speak to anyone. By the time the guy came out 24 hours later I had managed to open the door. I told the same man who had done the install that their ad read 24 hour availability. He denied it was his ad and he was not Simko. I got the phone number from their Simko website. I was recovering from knee replacement surgery and explained my dissatisfaction with their poor service. A week later i got a fraudulent charge From Amazon for $192.00 (and some change) I don't use My Apple Credit Card OFTEN. Last time i used it was with Simko Locksmith. The Amazon charge tried to get 2 transactions. Resulting in me having to get a New Credit Card PLUS a new virtual Credit card number since i Tried to tap my phone , tap my card , then he FINALLY Pulled out a swipe device. If I could give negative stars I would. We recently had Simco out to put new locks on (5) office doors. The service was incredibly expensive, and we were left with one knob that completely came off of the back of the door and worst of all, a door that locked with an elderly man trapped inside. The knobs were not aligned so the keys could not unlock the door. We called Simco and were told they weren't available that day and we never received a call back. Reminder, he was trapped inside his office! The door was unusable. During installation all office doors were scratched, not at all handled with care or respect. Thank you, Simko, for not letting my eBay purchase go to waste! I bought a car roof rack on eBay for what I thought was a great deal. Come to find, the seller didn't include the keys...prob the reason for the low price grrrrrr. I called multiple locksmiths, most were unable to help me. One locksmith suggested Simko, and even texted me the number (thanks BZB!). Simko fit me in between appointments the same day I called him. I went to meet him as a matter of convenience. He parked his van/workshop in front of my car where I was able to watch him get to work. They did not call me to let me know they arrived or notified anyone to let me know if they had gotten in or fixed the issue. They tried to charge my friend 258$ for a service fee and an unfinished job. The locksmith charged my friend $49.00 instead and went about his night. Only to let my friend still locked outside and having her sister climb through my window. They refused to come back and fix the issue. This business is not trustworthy. Called them out to repair the lock on my back door. Service charge was $29.00 just to come out to the house. Then they wanted another $250.00 just to diagnose the problem not fix it. I said NO! I'm not going to pay just for a diagnosis. Paid them the service charge with my credit card. Got my credit card statement and they not only changed me the service charge but also $290.00 I did not authorize for work that was never done. The guy kept leaving our door open everytime he went back to his car, wasting electricity on AC and letting in a ton of bugs. While the door was left open he spent most of his visit on the phone. He kept trying to upsell my wife on locks that didn't need changing. We just needed the lock itself to be replaced, but he insisted we needed to change the entire lock and door knob, when we had previously had just the lock itself replaced by another locksmith about a year ago. This is the most unreliable company ever! First they quote me $149. to unlock my door, which somehow grew into $600! Then after they left, the door still didn't lock properly.
