I was referred to TK Home Inspection by my realtor to do the home inspection. Nick Thomas was the guy that they sent to perform the inspection. He was there early and was just about to start when I arrived. He was extremely professional and kind. Anyway, he performed an extremely thorough inspection and caught all of the minor things that needed to be worked on (thankfully there was nothing major!). After the inspection he walked me through everything that he found, offered great solutions for the issues he came across and answered all of my questions. He is very knowledgeable about all parts of the home and communicated everything very clearly. If I ever needed another home inspection I would definitely contact TK Home Inspections and request Nick personally. I will also recommend them without hesitation. Horrible inspection. Arrived late. Drenched in sweat and kept wiping his head before wanting to shake my hand. Not very knowledgeable. Asked questions about my inspection and received stock answers that in no way answered any of them. If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with BS must be their motto. Compared my inspection to a few of my friends that also used this company. Completely different houses, almost word for word results of the inspection. Like they used a standard template and just inserted pictures of different houses. I will not be recommending this company to anyone. At the end, he had the audacity to ask for a 5 star review. A pleasant experience ever since the first phone call I placed to request an inspection quote. The lady whom answered was very friendly, even offered an online coupon for services, and got us an appointment that week. These guys are full-service. Terry K, Amy, and John all showed up to efficiently and thoroughly inspect the home I'm buying. Terry's furnace inspection likely saved my family from carbon monoxide poisioning in the home we're buying as he was able to identify a combustion problem in the furnace. Meanwhile, Amy's well inspection put me at ease knowing that the water was clean and bacteria free for us to drink. John thoroughly checked all systems in the house even identifying a missing damper from inside the chimney along with giving pointers on how to fix problems that I was already aware of. Absolutely terrible company. They do not stand by their service. Missed many very visible warning signs on their inspection of my new home purchase. I now have to spend almost $20,000 to fix the items which may have been prevented if given the chance. They hide behind the fine print of the contract. Do not use them. read more
