You'll want to plan to spend a little extra time filling out forms the first time you visit - but you can always make things easier on yourself (and on the staff) by signing their waivers via their website, and by emailing them your pet's vet records. I appreciate them being so thorough - we love our dogs and want them to be safe, no matter where they are! Their "Pour-It-Yourself" tap wall is sooo creative and fun. I love the way they have this set up - so their "Bark Rangers" can spend less time pouring drinks, and more time hanging out with the pups. You connect your debit/credit card to one of their tap cards, and then just use that throughout your visit. They even have handy drop-boxes for you to use on your way out, so you don't have to bother with the tedious "closing out" process. We've tried several of their rotating brews at this point - but our favorite is actually the Bark-veza, which was specially made for the Bark Park! We also have to shout out the GM, Amanda. During both of our visits, she's been extra attentive to our overly excited puppy, and even offered us some excellent training advice for our older, more anxious/reserved dog as well. We've purchased day passes for our last two visits ($10/dog), but we're seriously considering a monthly membership for both of our pups in the New Year. Thank you, Bark Park, for being such a wonderful place to spend a weeknight evening!

Right across the way is the less busy one for those people who have dogs who are a bit anti social. There's water for the dogs and trash bags go pick up poop. My small complaint is the dog owners who go here. A lot of them let their dogs physically bite or swipe in a non playful ways and others do not pick up their dog's poop. Besides those two complaints I continue to bring my dog here because she loves running around and making friends.

Needless to say, the location of this park causes floods every now and then when the Little Miami rises but it's wonderful when it's open. The dog park is split into 4 locations. Two big/medium fields, one field for smaller dogs under 22lbs and across the street is a small fenced area if your dog is being unruly and needs a time out by themselves. For the most part people clean up after their dogs but we do usually come across some piles, unfortunately. That's the only reason I'm knocking this park a star. There are a few boxes with poop bags but they're widespread. It'd be nice to have more bag boxes. Each big field has a few benches and a water fountain. As you leave, you'll find one more water spicket to wash off with. Sometimes this park can get suuuuuper muddy. Pro tip: add yourself to the Otto Armleder Dog Park FB group to get updates from other dog parents about field conditions.

The small dog park would make a decent sized Big Dog Park in most cities. There is a nice big picnic area right before you enter the dog park. There is a nice double-gated concrete entry area that seems to get flooded when it rains. Two different water facilities as well as multiple picnic tables all around and plenty of poop bag dispensers and trash cans. It looks like during the summer the bathrooms may actually be open. You park at the bottom of the hill and you have to make a little walk up the hill but as long as you don't have too much difficulty you should make it! It doesn't get steep until the very end. But there are plenty of parking places

Both sides had picnic tables, agility tunnel and ramps, and watering areas. The fences were nicely upkept so I (a protective dog mom) felt safe letting my mini dachshund off leash in the small dog area --also because today no other dogs were there. This is a nice park and quiet, tucked away from the road. My only complaint is ppl with their dogs off leash outside the kennels ‍ but I guess that is a problem anywhere.
