My 4 year olds tooth came out last night around 8pm. It hadnt been loose and I thought he was a little young to start losing his baby teeth. I called a few emergency dentists and never got a call back from any of those groups so I started searching for dentists that had availability this morning. I was able to make an appointment for this morning at 10am online and from beginning to end, it was an incredible experience. The staff was great and Dr. Kunthara explained to me what happened to his tooth and that it was completely normal and nothing to worry about. I think she recognized that I was one of those parents who worry and she was able to put my mind at ease that everything was okay. My son was comfortable and they made him comfortable when taking the x-ray and looking at his mouth. I highly recommend this group and will be using them as our regular dentist going forward. read more

Great dentist, staff and location. I hate going to the dentist. All the metal stuff flying around in my mouth. No bueno!!!!! BUT Dr. Kunthara is very patient and kind to me. She explains what the best treatments are for me, and the office has helped me make payments on my procedures. She also referred me to an excellent endodontist at Endodontic Specialists Ltd. for one of my big root canals. I give major props to Dr. Kunthara and her staff. They are all professional, friendly, fun, and very nice. They make my experience there better each time, and my husband and I love to laugh and joke with them. They make it very easy to make appointments either by calling them or on ZocDoc.com. (which is how I found her for an emergency) They are located just south of the Target on Longmore and Southern. Just awful. Completely disorganized office, they will call you to confirm your appointment that you don't have, then call you to tell you to book an appointment, then call you to tell you your insurance only allows an appointment every 6 months... so then why are you calling me?! They're just out to get $$$. I've felt harassed over a cleaning appointment I didn't even book. Constant calls daily from different people- no one knows what's going on there. I then called and asked for them to transfer my X-rays over to my new dental office- they never called me back with any questions on it. I go to my new dentist and of course they haven't received any of my information I requested that they send over. Complete nightmare. Pls save yourself the headache and book with another practice. read more

I have never been so happy with dental care in my life. I came in for an emergency root canal because I was in so much pain I couldn't even sleep through the night. The doctor explained every process along the way and made me feel comfortable. I was in literal tears as I walked into the office for my procedure and left feeling at ease and confident with the dentist I had chosen. I recommend this dental office to EVERYONE! Wow, I cannot say enough good things about Simon Dental, and especially about Dr. Kunthara... in my opinion Dr. Kunthara's work is exceptional. She performed a root canal for me and was meticulous, double and triple checked everything, not satisfied until she felt certain everything was perfect. Even the temporary crown she made for me looked as nice as a real tooth, an absolute exact match-- I have to look twice just to discern which tooth is actually the crown! Just beautiful work! She was also pleasant, professional, caring, and friendly. I am totally impressed. I scheduled my three boys to see her and referred my mother to go to Dr. Kunthara as well. This is a fantastic dental office. The doctor is so kind and patient and does really great work. The entire staff is great.

Do you hate the dentist ? Do you have a fear of the dentist ? This is the dentist for you then. I hate the dentist. I have terrible teeth and have been to serval equally terribly dentist. She understand that fear, so gave me a root canal and a crown. She double numb me and even told me " if you feel anything at all raise your hand". She was always checking in with me to make sure I was ok and didn't feel any pain. She always open on Saturdays so sometimes the waiting room can have questionable characters. The dentist and the staff is grade A five stars all the way. She took my fear of the dentist away , to the point I made a appointment for my first ever cleaning. It's also my first appointment where I am not in emergency pain. read more

This place is a joke. Dr. Cunthara charges your insurance without telling you and then tries to charge you without you even knowing. Dr. Cunthara is a joke of Doctor and yells at her staff in front of the people in the office. It's horrible to hear her be little her staff whom by the way were all so nice. read more

Dr Kunthara abandoned me mid-treatment and never finished the work. She's got skills but after removing several teeth in late May and early June, preparing for dentures she... 'went on vacation'. Now her office does not return calls or respond to emails. Not nice! Simon Dental insists on cash up front so it wasn't a payment issue. There didn't seem to be any problems at all. I cannot even imagine an acceptable excuse for the unprofessional behavior of this dentist. It's just plain cruel to begin this process then abandon a patient with very, very few teeth. read more

I have done dental work at this office, when they were at their previous location at Mesa. Dr. Preethy did a filling on one of my lower molars, which other dentists wanted to do a crown on, unnecessarily. I really like the fact that she is ethical, and does not try to upsell anything. read more

I would not recommend this place. The staff is friendly but aren't very competent. The equipment is out dated. Had a horrible experience, wasn't given adequate pain control, procedures were done that I wasn't informed of before hand. I even had to go to a different dentist to get some of the work redone. At least in the end I didn't have to pay what they said I still owed them. The dentist here did offer to have me come in to have the work she did redone for free but at that point I was done with this place. read more

After being given the run around from another dentist I found this place and I love them. There was no BS and they were friendly and professional and my root canal went so well. You can tell that the doctor and the staff have good morale and they seem to love their work and enjoy each others company. I only want to go to this dentist from now on and am so thankful that I don't have to worry about this toothache anymore. read more

Worst experience ever. Procedure was 400% more than quoted. On top of that, more procedures were added that were never discussed. Asked about it, was yelled at and told that the Dentist decided on the procedure of their own accord and chose not to inform me. When asked why, was told there was no time. Great job, small business, I appreciate going an hour out of my way to get yelled at by and angry Indian woman. Walked out before the procedure and will not ever consider going back. If you're on a budget, which is probably the case seeing as you're going to a strip mall dentist, I would consider a drunken dentist visit to Mexico before going to this place. read more

Front office staff and doctor are good. Unfortunately that is coupled with completely inaccurate quotes and long wait times.

Do not go here! When I walked in the place was dirty and I walked up to the front desk and said hello to the two women at the counter. It took a few minutes for them to acknowledge me. Then when I gave them my insurance card, the lady called the insurance company on speaker phone. If any one else was in the office they would have been able to hear all of my information including social security number. Then it took them 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time for them to call me back when there was no one else at the office. The dental hygienist flat out does not listen to you. And they lied to me when they stated they do treatments for TMJ. If they told me no over the phone when I asked, I would have gone somewhere that would actually help me. So I walked in with a portion of my jaw hurting and 12 hours later my whole jaw is in agony, I can't open it, and my teeth hurt. I'm tempted to go to the hospital for this. All they did was set me up for identity theft and make my problems 100 times worse. read more
