I was referred by my chiropractor after my car accident for a CT scan. I had never had one done before, so I was already nervous. When I saw the machine, I felt a little more anxious. However, the person who helped me, Linda, was amazing. She was funny, told me exactly what to expect and put me right at ease. Before I knew it, I was done! They refused to explain what I was being billed for at the front desk. Then they refused to print out a breakdown. Then they refused to read the explanation of it. They also refused to billing me and wanted me to pay up front. They refused to believe I had already filled out their online form. After presented with evidence they also just said "I don't see it". I had to show her not just the form but also the text. Finally she seemed to accept it and had me sign some blank forms instead. The front desk lady was polite (1 extra star) but completely incapable of executing the job. She supposedly contacted her manager who confirmed they don't bill, which means I can confidently give this place a poor rating. I haven't had many MRIs in my life but this one made me realize how well others have done it. Do not trust these people with your money. read more

This was one of the worst medical office experiences I've ever had. Very unprofessional - the guy at the front desk was talking crap to his colleague about a patient who called in saying they would be late. Not cool for other patients to hear that. I got undressed and into the MRI machine all to be told I couldn't fit in their small one. No ask of my size or weight prior to the visit... And they couldn't care less about it when I told them this was a frustrating and humiliating experience. For reference I'm a size 16 women's. The least they could have done was ask about my size prior to coming so I didn't completely waste my time. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. These people are not nice and should not be servicing people. I also told my doctor who referred me here to never refer another woman here again. read more

Worst experience imaginable. Before our appointment, we called to let the office know we would be about 10 minutes late due to traffic. The receptionist assured us that arriving 15-20 minutes late would not be an issue. However, when we arrived just 10 minutes late, we were made to wait for more than two hours. Despite repeatedly requesting an update and explaining that we had traveled all the way from San Francisco and had another appointment to attend, the staff offered no assistance. We were told that they intended to stay on their schedule and would only see us after all other patients had been seen. The lack of empathy, communication, and basic patient care was shocking. It appeared that certain patients, possibly those involved in studies, were being prioritized over everyone else. In over 30 years, I have never experienced such poor patient care at any imaging center. This was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for imaging services. This was, without question, one of the worst healthcare experiences I have ever had. read more

Horrible service and experience at this location! I had an appointment scheduled for an MRI on Monday the 27th for 8:15am but was asked to come 15mins early for paperwork. On my way in to that appointment I received a call from them @7:58 asking if I was coming, I said yes I'll be there @8:03 they told me they were really busy and had to reschedule me even though I was still early to my appointment! They rescheduled me for today Wednesday the 29th @11:30am, I got there @11:08 filled out the paper work sat there and waited. @11:40 the clerk at the desk asks me my weight and hight and let me know their machine could not accommodate me! I told the clerk I provided that information before scheduling both times, he had an attitude and said I'm just letting you know we cant see you today. Mind you that information was provided to them before making the first appointment and when rescheduling me for the appointment today! Someone is not doing their job! This location is very unprofessional I'm not surprised that it only has 2 stars! read more

I had a 6 am appointment. It was told to be there by 5:45 both by phone calls and text. So I did. They didn't open the door until 6:06. No hello sorry we're late nothing. Just I need your insurance cards and ID. I even told him it would be nice to say hello or good morning. No response. Your front office staff can make or break a business. In this case it breaks. My chiropractor referred me to SimonMed for an emergency MRI for my pain. Good thing I hadn't read all of the bad reviews yet. First, I went to the Santa Clara location for my same-day appointment that I was grateful to get, but they had a power outage minutes before we arrived! I called up main scheduling from there and was so lucky to score an early appointment at this Los Gatos location the next day. This facility was smaller but much nicer. I was also lucky they opened on a Saturday to address the backlog of patients needing imaging. Only two staff were working. Miriam was terrific with the MRI test, getting me in and out in a fast 15 minutes, wow! Thank you! read more

You cannot speak to ANYONE at the location - you are automatically routed to a call center. it took me a week of going back and forth with scheduling - made an appointment only to have it cancelled NOT ONCE BUT THREE TIMES! The staff at this location are friendly and helpful but... it is not easy to get xrays here. One time,we arrived hoping for X-rays and their machine was out of order. They called another location down the street for us though, and that location had no xray tech available. Parking lot is run down. We went again today and found out that they don't do xrays at this location on Fridays. Luckily, the location down the street on Bascom was open and we were able to get xrays done witn no problem. read more

This facility does not take appointments for x-rays. If you need an x-ray, do not use this facility as you may end up waiting 2 to 3 hours as a walk-in. Find a facility that will schedule an appointment for you instead. read more

This location was formerly Silicon Valley MRI and recently bought by SimonMed. SimonMed is the worst managed, least responsible, least organized business I have ever encountered. My MRI was scheduled with Silicon Valley MRI before the acquisition about 6 weeks in advance. I received phone call the day before my MRI telling me that due to the acquisition, I no longer had an appointment and my time was not available. I emphatically stated that isn't going to work (the insurance authorization period is almost up, so it cannot be pushed out). The woman who called me magically found a way to fit me in on the originally scheduled day. I was told to arrive at 10:45 for sedation and the MRI at 11:45. I arrived a bit early since I had enlisted friend to drop me off due to the sedation. They told me that due to the acquisition, they don't do sedation at all for claustrophobia anymore. I asked why I was told the day before to arrive an hour early for sedation and the receptionist had no idea. They then found me an appointment at a different location for 2 days later in a wide/big machine that is used for large patients. This bigger machine is supposed to be better if you have claustrophobia. In the end I got the MRI done, but has been the worst experience. SimonMed has no business being in this business. Do NOT go there. read more

Simon Med in the Bay area is horrible. I have spent 3 days trying to get an xray. supposedly X-rays are walk in, as I tried to schedule and they just said no, walk ins only, so come in. On Tuesday I went in to MV only to be told they weren't doing xrays this week. she told me to go tI Santa Clara, as they were walkins only between 12-4. so Wednesday I drove to SC, only to be told they weren't doing X-rays that day And the attendant told me to go to Los Gatos. I called and convinced them to make me an appt, and they did so for this afternoon. Guess what, I just got another call from Los Gatos Simon med again, and was told they weren't doing X-rays today since the machine was down. So now, after running all ove4 the Bay Area the last 3 days for nothing I must cancel my surgical follow-up because Simon Med can't seem to complete an x ray . Oh, one more thing, 8 had these same X-rays done a month ago, but they seem to have los5 them as they never showed up in the portal and when asked about it, they showed no record of it being done, of course the bill for the X-ray has was completed and been submitted By Simon med to insuarnce. I Am done with Simon Med, I urge everyone else to avoid them as well read more

The worst managed facility. I called up to set up an appointment and was told that there is no need for appointment and you can just walk in. On their website they show the timings as 6:0am to 10 pm. But X rays are done only up to 4 to 5 pm ( varies by location). I first go to the location on Bascom after 45 minutes of drive( luckily i was there before the closing). The lady said they do not do X ray as they don't have a technician. I called the other location and was told that there is another facility on Los Gatos blvd. which should be open until 5. So I drive there and it was only 4:20pm. But the receptionist asked me if I can come back the next day. I told him that I drove for an hour and have already wasted so much of my time, I would prefer to get it done today. He was very rude and dismissive. He finally checked me it ( which took forever)and finally got my X ray taken ( barely less than 10 minutes job). I was so thirsty and they did not even have water/water fountain at the facility. What kind of business are they running. Stay away. AVOID AT ANY COST. read more
