    They called to get my provider's order on an imaging appointment. I've shared with them over fax, phone, and even a text message. I am not sure if it is their associates or system, but I don't understand how you can get three lines of information so aborrhently incorrect to the point where I am getting canceled, and rechescheduled multiple times right before my appointment. This is unacceptable beyond all means. I am honestly expecting to get another call to "verify my provider's order" again and they will have to "cancel since this is not provided". Attached are all the instances of my experience. Avoid this company like the plague.

    An hour before my appointment I receive a text message stating the appointment has to be rescheduled. I then called and they said it's OK must be an error. Note this was after they asked me a dozen questions to verify who I was. Then I receive a call a few minutes later saying appointment needs to be rescheduled - this too was an error. I then go in to the office and they say I need an order from the doc even though it's out of pocket but I look it up and provide screen shot from my health on line. They said that will work. I later was on the table about to get the scan literally rolled me in the tube and the tech comes in and says we need an order and has me come off the machine and now they are calling the office and order is on its way. The tech got very confrontational when I said this is so stupid as he yelled it's not my fault. I'm thinking am I now suppose to help him calm down....anyway don't go to this place. SF facility was better managed.

I later learned that the appointment was being moved because the scheduling department had accidentally double-booked the time slot. What was especially frustrating was that my physician had specifically ordered the MRI as STAT, yet my appointment was still rescheduled because of an internal scheduling error. No one contacted me to discuss whether the new time worked for me before making the change. They also didn't attempt to reschedule the other person's appointment yet reschedule mine which was marked urgent. After a challenging conversation with the scheduling department, I explained that my physician had requested the MRI be completed as soon as possible. I was then told that an earlier appointment at 10:45am could be arranged. However, I later discovered that they had actually scheduled me for 2:15pm, a time I had repeatedly stated I was unavailable. When I called back approximately 30 minutes later to correct the error, I reached the same scheduling representative. They acted as though our previous conversation had never occurred and they had no memory of talking to me just 30 minutes before and insisted that 2:15pm was the only available option. No effort was made to resolve the issue or honor what had been discussed and agreed upon earlier. Ultimately, I had to call the Los Gatos clinic directly to find an appointment time that worked. During that conversation, I was also informed that my copay would be $420, which was significantly higher than the $130 I had been told by the scheduling representative. The MRI itself may have been fine, but the scheduling process was disorganized, inconsistent, and unnecessarily stressful. Patients should not have to navigate conflicting information, scheduling errors, errors in cost amount, and last-minute changes, especially when the examination is needed promptly for a potentially serious medical concern.

    I found the overall process extremely frustrating and unnecessarily confusing, especially as…read moresomeone currently dealing with a painful back injury and limited mobility. I was told the location does not take appointments for X-rays and that it is walk-in only. However, when I arrived, I was told they were completely full and could not accommodate me. I was then directed online, where I discovered you can "reserve a time" for an X-ray as a guest -- which is essentially an appointment, despite being told appointments are not available. To make things more confusing, the system would not allow me to create an account because it said my information was invalid, yet it still allowed guest reservations. The entire process felt disorganized and contradictory. Another major issue is that if your physician sends imaging orders and they are somehow not received by the imaging center, it suddenly becomes the patient's problem to solve after already arriving in pain. In my case, my doctor's office was kind enough to text me the paperwork during their lunch break so I could still be seen. My husband has experienced the same issue repeatedly -- despite his doctor confirming records were sent, the imaging center still did not have them, and this has happened multiple times even though he has been there many times before. I want to be clear that the people working there were not the issue. The woman at the front desk was very sweet, patient, and clearly doing her best within a broken system. The issue is the process itself. There should absolutely be a more organized scheduling and follow-up system that confirms reservations, paperwork received, and patient instructions ahead of time. It would save patients stress and save the staff from constantly having to explain that "you can't make an appointment, but you can make a reservation," which is effectively the same thing. Healthcare is stressful enough already, especially when people are in pain and looking for help. It should not be this difficult to simply get an X-ray done

It's difficult to check on when your next appointment is (if you lost the written card) and moving appointments involve pushing the date out pretty far. I don't know how hard it would be to implement an online system for this, but it could be nice to improve. - The office staff has always been warm and friendly with me, but they do seem fairly busy. It would be helpful for them to provide a little more verbal guidance between transitions in the appointment and to check in occasionally if the wait is longer than expected. All that said, I'm more concerned with the imaging quality and evaluation being top notch -- which from what I can tell, it is. The office itself is older, but comfortable, and the customer service processes are not tech-forward or slick, but work well enough.

However, the person who helped me, Linda, was amazing. She was funny, told me exactly what to expect and put me right at ease. Before I knew it, I was done! The receptionist assured us that arriving 15-20 minutes late would not be an issue. However, when we arrived just 10 minutes late, we were made to wait for more than two hours. Despite repeatedly requesting an update and explaining that we had traveled all the way from San Francisco and had another appointment to attend, the staff offered no assistance. We were told that they intended to stay on their schedule and would only see us after all other patients had been seen. The lack of empathy, communication, and basic patient care was shocking. It appeared that certain patients, possibly those involved in studies, were being prioritized over everyone else. In over 30 years, I have never experienced such poor patient care at any imaging center. This was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for imaging services. This was, without question, one of the worst healthcare experiences I have ever had.
