Then after verifying several times per call the fact that the doctor had ordered the Open MRI due to me panicking, and asking me if I might need the larger machine as well, They sent me to this place which has neither an open MRI, nor a larger machine that could accommodate my size. They didn't take me back for almost an hour after my appointment time was scheduled and the entire time I was visible and perceived, I spoke to many people who work there, and not one of them told me I would not fit in the machine. They did tell me that they did not have an open MRI, but they promised the process would only take 15-20 minutes and let me take one of my panic pills. One of the employees told me the schedulers only give them 5 minutes per patient which is why they were so behind So, after jumping through multiple flaming hoops including having someone take off work to help me with my service dog, and arriving exactly at 9:55 am, as requested, for my 10:15 am appointment, I left there at 11:19 am with no MRI and an appointment for the correct location with the correct equipment for later this afternoon. All this so some idiot can make more money billing for more patients while their employees are probably getting subpar pay, and they outsource their scheduling to some company that does not understand where the equipment is, or how long the procedure takes. Corporate greed in your healthcare is bad for the patients and the employees. Valley Radiology should be ashamed.

On this particular…read moreday, I was feeling very worried about my condition and really wanted to get an ultrasound in order to make an emergency decision. With the weekend coming up, I was unable to reach my own doctor and even Urgent care was booked for the rest of the week. I checked on Yelp and found Josephs great reviews and sent him a message about my condition. He immediately responded and told me he could make time at the end of his work day to help me do the ultrasound (knowing my condition). Whats really great is that I could pay out of the pocket at a great price without worrying about my medical insurance limitability, which most places will not take. On the same day, I drove to his office in the afternoon and met him. I told him about my worries and he was just so understanding, comforting and told me he would do his best to find any issues and would even provide a note to emergency in case he found something that needed immediate attention. As we went through the ultrasound he kept reassuring me about things, and did a super thorough scan of the area I was concerned about. He provided me with a lot of information, including images I could take home and a report that was sent to me within a few hours. I learned a lot about the scan and felt like I was under the care of someone who really wanted me to pull through. I feel he goes 100% in the work he does! I'm very grateful Joseph was there for me on this day and I don't know how I would have coped if I didn't find him here on Yelp. The second visit involved delay to receive a CD, despite the X-ray itself took less than 10 minutes. Today (4/22/2026), although there was a larger crowd, which I understand the process was poorly managed. The technician saw me within about 10 minutes, and the exam itself was quick. However, I then waited 45+ minutes for my CD, only to stand in line and be told it had been overlooked and they did not process it. This reflects a lack of organization and attention to detail. While the technical staff performs well, the overall coordination and service quality need improvement. Retraining and better workflow management are clearly needed.

I have an unusual condition called the nutcracker syndrome along with pelvic congestion. Two other doctors treated parts of the problem, and they were great as well, but Dr. Padidar understood the systemic issues created by the syndrome and aggressively tackled it. The bonus was that while he was doing the procedure he was teaching others about what he was doing and so ultimately, I had a team of doctors taking care of me. For the first time in as long as I can remember, I do not feel fatigued all the time, and I have more energy because my circulation is now functioning properly. Dr. Padidar takes his time to explain all of the imaging, the scope of the problem and how he is going to address it before the surgery, then afterward, did the same to explain what he did. They were very prompt calling us in. We arrived 10 minutes early thinking we needed to fill tedious paperwork, and were called in 1 pm on the dot. No hefty paperwork needed. They gave my father a clean disposable gown, were nice, professional, and fast. We were in and out of the Xray area within 5 minutes.
