It was nothing short of humiliating if I'm being honest. I had asked for help with 3 medical issues and the women I had seen marked down on my medical chart that I declined help with 2 or 3. I spoke with her in the phone several days later (clearly upset) and let her know I did ask for help with these things and I'd like her to update my chart. She did not. I then emailed my new PCP (her boss) with basically what I'm saying here. I heard nothing for days. These people don't care at all. I'm a brand new patient and they can't be bothered. So sad what healthcare has become.

Despite being prescribed the medication, I must point out that Dr. Repassy is not huge on medications. The medication she gave me is a prescription, but it's an all-natural, porcine-based pill, not lab-derived chemicals, so that's all pretty cool. Dr. Repassy loves doing weight counseling, and she's even gotten me more active. She has great ideas for fun ways to lose weight and she really understands how the body works. When I arrived there was a waiting room of elderly patients that looked 1/2 dead. My first thought... medicare quack. But I was there so I went in. This is what happened. He did not take a detailed history, talk with me about what was happening. He didn't examine me at all and I remained fully clothed with my coat on. He listened to me for a short time and then told me this: "yeh, it could be a million things, the only way to find out for sure is to have a colonoscopy and an endoscopy." I think I laughed. But he was dead serious. Since I was already dressed it was super easy to get me up and out the door and to the front desk to make the appointment and before I knew it, I was signed up for a colonoscopy and endoscopy. Which I canceled as soon as I left. The problem turned out to be something I was eating. So a colonoscopy and endoscopy wouldn't have helped either.

After several phone calls to him, the insurance company, and the biller, I gave up - I didn't want to hurt my credit - and paid over $400 for anesthesia which should have been fully covered. Be advised that if you go to him for a routine procedure, he may not submit it that way. He clearly does not care about his patients and I would never use him again.
