I scheduled an appointment for a CT on Thursday. Since I've been harassed via text messages and automated phone calls to schedule an appointment. Each time leads to a phone line that just rings. Absolutely unacceptable. At this point I'm ready to cancel my appointment and file a complaint with the FCC over its use of robo-dialer BTW you can't even get a voicemail box when you call the mainline so I can't even leave this feedback over a voicemail so you get it via yelp because that's how it obnoxious this last three days have been with this system. To begin, the main line to SimonMed is answered by people who have NO idea about what they are doing. They cannot answer a question without referring to their supervisor and their accents are extremely difficult to understand. Twice I have visited the Desert Ridge office with distantly scheduled appointments only to be told to they did not get an approval from my cardiologist. This is something they should have done. Absolutely terrible ! I had a very important ct scan , spoke to two seperate people regarding me paying out of pocket no insurance , and received a confirmation text that morning . I leave work drive all the way there to be told my appointment was canceled !!!!!!!!! Someone took it upon themself to cancel on the first , saying it was no insurance . This isn't for Tatum, it's for Simon Med the company. They have overcharged me approximately $400 so far and I need that back. They just tell you when you come in it's going to be this exorbitant amount even with insurance for the tests your doctor's need and you must pay up front. Then insurance comes back and says it was this much, you owe this much, this was all covered, and Simon Med stalls, never calls you back, never pays you back. And the reports are terrible and late most of the time. They're stealing from customers. Put the money back read more

Came in today for my first ever CT venogram and I was pretty nervous. Thank God for the most comfortable and courteous tech Ben for making my experience so easy! The front staff was pleasant and speedy. And from the moment I was taken back to the moment I left I was treated so well. Ben explained the procedure in detail and made sure I was well taken care of. I can't say enough good things about him. I will definitely continue to go to the Desert Ridge location for my imaging. read more

My husband's appointment was at 3:30 and didn't get called back till 5:23pm. No updates about being 2 hours behind. He has to take something for his anxiety in order to do this exam and now let's see if it is still helpful. Poor guy. He is in constant pain and This just pours salt on the wound of stress. Just so unprofessional and rude. Is it too much to ask for common courtesy to respect peoples' time. I work and had no I idea they would be running 2 HOURS behind. I have been trying to get a MRI for a month but so far haven't had any luck. I went for my original appointment and spent over an hour waiting for the machine to work which it never did. Rescheduled for 2 weeks, drove there again from Mesa only to be told the machine still wasn't fixed. They claimed someone called and left a message that morning about the problem but I never received one. Called again a week later, made an appointment for the following Friday and received a call saying I needed to reschedule again because they don't do MRI's on Fridays! I got a text reminding me of my appointment, which I assumed was cancelled, and it had a different appointment time. Not only have I had to drive from Mesa 3 times but meanwhile my problem is getting worse. I would not recommend this location to anyone. read more

I went in for an MRI and had to sit for 40 minutes past my appointment time. This was during the resurgence of COVID and the receptionist at the desk wasn't wearing a mask. She was very unhelpful, and most patients in the office were getting sick and tired of the wait times. I would rate this overall operation very low. The woman who made the appointment (Mercedes B) was extremely rude and unhelpful on the phone. I went online to ask a question of "Chat" and waited from 20+ people in front of me to just 2 people ahead of me, when it stopped suddenly (after 45 minutes) and said "We've closed the chat as there are now no operators able to assist you." There are better places to get an MRI or other imaging. I'd avoid this one. read more

My wife has been trying to get CT scan with Simonmed and to say it has been frustrating would be a HUGE understatement!!! She has spent HOURS yes documented hours on the phone giving information. We shortened a vacation to come home for the appointment that the doctor ordered STAT. Service is HORRIBLE she has went to the office twice, once they had the wrong order second time she was told no CT Technician was scheduled???? Then they said there was a cancelation at another office she rushed over there ...guess what turned away! I just tried calling 3 times pushed prompts 1-3 and was disconnected! I am now waiting on "chat" which I am confident will get us no where as I am sure the email will not either. What a huge waste of time. Good luck read more

Everything was fine until the person who did the xrays didnt wear a mask. I am immune compromised and this man was within 2 feet of me. I thought that medical facilities were supposed to wear masks...absolutely not okay. Wont be going back to that location again. read more

Horrible customer service. Got hung up on 3 times because the rude, lazy phone schedulers didn't want to figure out an issue on their end since it was Friday and close to closing time. They called ME to schedule a CT for a potentially life threatening issue and once they discovered the order got assigned to the wrong person, they decided it was not their problem and literally hung up mid conversation after basically saying it was my issue to fix. If you can possibly go anywhere else go! The actual on sight staff might be okay but good luck getting there. I called twice to make an appointment. The first person referred me to the website and wouldn't make it for me saying that even though I had the order he said he couldn't see it and I couldn't send it to him or read it to him. The website sent me through filling out several pages before it just redirected me to call again. So I called again this new scheduler kept me on the line for over 45 minutes most of it presumably on hold for him to type everything I said. He tried to tell me multiple times that he couldn't schedule it and I would have to call back because I had a plate in my ankle that I already know isn't metal. After 45 minutes on the phone he said the system had an error and we needed to start over. I asked to talk to someone else 5 times and he wouldn't let me. He just kept saying he could help me and he would already be finished if I hadn't asked for someone else. I ended up demanding another person and he hung up on me. I am calling a different company. I can't do that again. It was by far the worst scheduling experience I have ever had. read more

Think twice before using Simon Med off of Desert Ridge. I called a local number to make an appointment but was transferred outside of the United States. After setting the appointment for the Desert Ridge location, I asked the scheduler if I needed to fast prior to my appointment. They said that it was not necessary based on the procedure that I was having done. On the day of the image, my wife called to double-check. They confirmed that I did not have to fast and that no prep was needed prior. After arriving for the appointment, the person behind the desk asked if I had eaten anything today, 3:30 PM. I said yes, I had lunch around noon. She then proceeded to tell me that I could not have the imaging done as I needed to fast. Now, I left work early, and now I could not be seen. Very frustrating. Simon Med was happy to schedule me - what about my time. I wish I could bill the center for incompetence. I lost money, and they should as well. read more

I had an excellent experience at SimonMed today. I was able to make an appointment for an ultrasound within 24 hours and even got my preferred time slot. The reception process was simple with only a small amount of paperwork needed even though I was a new patient to them. Once the paperwork was out of the way I didn't even have to wait 10 minutes to be called back. It was even within 5 minutes of my scheduled time. My ultrasound tech, Kristen Hunt, was really fantastic. She was professional and caring. She was also very easy to talk to which helped keep my mind off the test and it's potential outcome. Thanks! I will definitely go to this location in the future for all my X-Ray and imaging needs. read more

I called to make an appointment on July 11 2022. Someone answered the phone but after a few minutes into the conversation, she hung up on me. So, than I went on line to schedule an appointment for CT scan with contrast. My appointment was July 19 at 9:30. I took a picture of my appointment. After I made my appointment, I was unable to log into my account. So I did a chat with Vanessa and she confirmed my appointment on July 19 2022 at 9:30. Arnold called me to update my insurance again and confirmed my appointment. He will sent over an authorization to my insurance company. He did not received my referral. My referral was sent over 3 times. On July 20, Angel called me, needed my insurance info again. He said that they got me referral. But had to change my date for my CT scan. MY original appointment was booked in the wrong room. My appointment is now July 21 at 9:30. On July 20, Denise called to confirmation my appointment for tomorrow. So all good. The morning of my appointment I had a weird feeling that this appointment was going to be fucked up. Of course I was right. I called Simon Med at 9:30, I was transferred to authorization and of course i was discounted. I called back and was transferred to authorization department again, I spoke to Whitley and she said that they did not sent in an authorization for my CT scan, I asked not since I made my appointment over 2 weeks ago. She said I could still have my appointment but pay out of pocket. I cancelled my appointment due to their stupidity and incompetence. I would never suggest anyone to use Simon Med. read more

I came in for a ultrasound today that was scheduled last minute. EVEN though I waited on hold 15 minutes just to schedule. I know this location HAS NOTHING to do with the scheduling people. When I came in the lady at the front was very nice and patient. She was dealing with a very difficult individual that was unplugging lamps in the waiting room and her husband was being very rude. Even though all of that she was calm and sweet and tried to help everyone. Kristy brought me back for my ultrasound and she was FANTASTIC so nice and very knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable during the entire ultrasound and was easy to talk to. Its been very difficult here lately with my health but she made me feel so much better. read more

Horrible service!! Did not except to have waited for 1 hr 30 min for my mother so chest x-ray. She was there today for a mammogram and a chest x-ray. She gotten her mammogram done and was told to sit for her x ray. We awaited for over an hour. They keep saying she will be next. But the truth was the receptionist did not even pull her chart. I went up to the receptionist twice and she said when they are finish with the last patient that we will be next. But when I had the nurse check on it she said the chart was never pulled out so the nurse didn't even know my mother need an x-ray. We felt go neglected and tired to. In addition, the nurse that took my mother mommogram was annoyed with us for being there too long. She told us " you guys need to get you belongs out of the changing room now! I needed for this patient. You guys have been here too long! " How humiliating we felt as we quickly remove our belonging and being told we have been waiting too long. It was the receptionist fault for not pulling the chart and telling us we would be next. Horrible experience ever in a medical office. No respect or care for us as a patient. read more

My mom had a ct scan to be done and it was a great experience to begin with. They always have a hard time to get her IV access every place she goes but the technician there( forgot the name unfortunately but a tall middle age man) got it with the first attempt. Few days later Maranda at the front desk was so kind and helpful. I needed to submit previous Imaging for comparison. I think She might have felt that I am anxious about the report and she went above and beyond to get the addendum to me as fast as she could. Thank you Maranda! Loved the experience. All around bad experience. Though they received a doctor's referral with specific areas for MRI, they only did 1 of 3 areas saying insurance only approved one area, which was incorrect because they did to read the order correctly and only requested one area. I had spoke on the phone with insurance and received benefit coverage approval in writing. I spoke to the office manager after my scan who said she would research and get back to me. I waited in office for another hour with no response, and asked receptionist to have her call me. No response. I asked also that results be sent to both my doctor and PT. I called the day before my PT appointment to see if they had received it and they did not. I called Simonmed to follow up and ensure it was going to be sent. Couldn't reach the desert ridge location directly and had to be transferred. Spoke to scheduler at desert ridge who took information and said I had 2 appointments for the next day, which I had no knowledge of. I called the main scheduling number to find out about the 2 (unknown) appointments and cancelled them. Day of my PT appointment I went in the desert ridge office to get a copy of my MRI results since PT had not received the results. The receptionist made a note to send to my PT again. I requested a copy and they would not email it to me, and didn't think to print it out for me. I argued that I requested it 3 times for my PT and still they had not gotten it, the office manager never returned my call to clear up why all 3 areas didn't get scanned, and magically I was scheduled with 2 appointments without my knowledge and that they should show some kind of customer service by providing me with a copy of my report. Finally they "made an exception" and emailed it to me. I question their professionalism and felt the hassle for services was beyond acceptable. I do not recommend their services. Go with a company that knows what they're doing and cares about customer service. You work hard for your co-pay, and your insurance should not have to pay an incompetent company that doesn't provide professional services. read more

In the future, I will request a different imaging center. They ended up not doing my husband's tests because they had a question for his doctor and didn't have the number. They say they do walk ins for mammograms. Very nice, but its only if available which they dont tell you and you dont find out until you are there. Set my day up around walk in but when arrived was told i "could" wait but they werent sure if they cud get me in?? " Whatever that means. I was a "walk in" which was what I was told to do. I was there at 10 am. I decide to reschedule rather than wait for potentially not getting in...duh. Now at 115 appt a week later and shes over 30 late:(. I scheduled my appointment and received confirmation for an MRI. I called with a question the day before I was scheduled and I was told that I was not in the system however; they were able to fit me in. Day of: I showed up 30 min early, filled out my paperwork and paid $400 with insurance (which I never received an estimate for). I was called back and then told to sit back down. Then I was told they were running behind and had to reschedule for the next day. Went back the next day and completed the MRI. The tech was great and this review is of no reflection on him. Because of the reschedule, I had to wait over the weekend to know my results. Picked up my report and images. To top it off, I went to the orthopedic surgeon's office and the disk SimonMed burned for my images was BLANK!! Ugh, so much frustration. I will never be back to this location. read more

Last week had my first echo --one of those situations where your dignity is challenged--the young man who worked with Kristen on July 18th at 10am was outstanding--as was she. I was immediately made comfortable by Kristen--with extra pillows etc.--the young man doing the hands on part of the ultra sound gently kept conversation going and made the entire procedure much less stressful. read more
