On the day of my cone biopsy, I was terrified, but everyone did their best to help me feel safe and comfortable. I never felt rushed or dismissed. They treated me like a person rather than just another patient or procedure. Dr. Gupta was also very thorough with my care, including checking my cervical canal and making sure everything that needed to be addressed was taken care of. Receiving the news that the abnormal cells were fully removed and that my margins were clear was such an enormous relief. I will always be grateful for the care, compassion, and reassurance I received during one of the most frightening medical experiences of my life. They stuck me in an exam room, there was one nice nurse that came in and took my vitals (and for the record she is the only one here that was warm or kind) then shut the door and here I sit for 45 mins without another word from anyone. So I opened the door to make sure I'm not forgotten and the provider comes and tells me she has to shut the door for Hippa (never mind that I can hear everything anyways). So I am currently sitting in the hot, stuffy exam room with no end in sight and the door closed. On the back of the door is a sign encouraging reviews on Yelp... so I start reading the reviews and seems like my visit is par for the course at this place. Definitely won't be back. Debating on even staying at this point.

I have mixed feelings about this service. First, it's very expensive - $3700 for the full scan and…read morereport. But if it's useful, then it's totally worth it. The appointment itself was fine. You spent an hour and a quarter in an MRI machine. The good part is they offer movies, TV shows, etc. to keep you distracted and it totally works. I lost track of time and it seemed like I was there about 15 minutes. The employees at the scan facility were really nice and the guy who did the scan was wonderful -very nice and reassuring. After the scan, I got an email telling me that the body composition part was not done and offering me a refund. I suppose I should be happy but I'd like to get everything I paid for. The report of the scan was good. You get an email and click the link to connect with a provider - a nurse practitioner or a doctor - who spends about 45 minutes showing you the scans and reports and explaining them. That was very valuable and I recorded it so I could go back and look later. I also ran much of the report through ChatGPT to get the results in layman's terms. (I do that with the regular doctor reports, too.). The report is full of useful information and I intend to follow up immediately with my doctor for a couple of issues that came up - brain and lungs. As part of this service, you also give a blood sample that is analyzed extensively and that's useful. The bad part of Prenuvo is the process - the steps you have to take to get the service. Everything is disjointed and anonymous. The people I spoke with during this multi-week process were located in South Africa (booking the doctor time to review the scan), Texas (reminding me), Arizona (nurse practitioner who explained the report) and the corporate HQ is in California. I have no idea where the texts and emails came from. You don't get the sense that there is any one person who cares about you getting the service accurately. For example, I was given an appointment for report interpretation of 1 PM. I clicked the link and came to a screen labeled DOCTOR'S WAITING ROOM. I waited and waited and finally asked if there was a problem. Yes, the provider didn't show up. So I can understand connection problems but I cannot understand the text they later sent me blaming me for not showing up. No apology for wasting my time. This is the aspect of the service that made me very angry. They seem to be a disjointed organization where the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. I think that I, the patient, was the only one who saw the whole service process and how disjointed, impersonal and bad it is. Would I recommend this service? Probably not. I did get good information but hated the way I was treated.

Here are some of my complaints: 1- Advertised a price around $999 and then when i went to book a few days later, they did not honor that price and charged about $250 more. Said they did not do that scan any more! 2-Did a full body scan but only reported and looked at major organs and did not deal with any structural parts, even tho they were scanned. Report just said structural parts, eg. shoulder, spine, etc "not fully accessed" whatever that means. 3- And lastly, the nurse practicioner who called to discuss the scan with me for 30 minutes (to the second) just read what the written report that was emailed to me said. If i had any questions, she said, ask your regular doctor. I will never go back and feel this was a scam.
