Upon arrival, I was told I had to pay $398. Despite receiving about 8 appointment reminders, I was given no indication of any amount due beforehand. I paid the amount because I had to drive a significant distance to get to my study done. I had already provided my insurance information twice, so I paid assuming it would be resolved once billed. Afterward, they billed my claim incorrectly and tried to make it my problem. The claim was submitted with the wrong ID and group number, causing an "eligibility denial," and I was told to call my insurance instead of them reviewing it. After pushing and literally walking them through the claim they finally found THEIR errors. If I didn't understand billing, I would have been stuck paying a bill I don't owe. Huge concerns with training and billing practices. It's unfortunate, because the actual imaging experience was perfectly pleasant, but the billing issues alone make me unlikely to return. read more

Got a diagnostic MRI on 8/20. I had to wait an hour past my appointment time to get in. The MRI itself went smoothly. I was given a piece of paper with instructions and told results would be on my portal in 1-3 days. I have been in contact with customer service 3 times since then and they can't figure out why I don't have an account. I've had them tell me 3 times 'we will email you the results, these take 3-5 business days' Still no results, no help trying to get into the portal. Absolutely do not recommend if you're waiting in a diagnostic MRI. read more

I have no idea who runs this place, but it needs to be a different person. They hire completely incompetent people who are not remotely professional. They cancel appointments whenever it suits them, then forget when they reschedule them. I'm not sure how they stay in business. They have abysmal ratings from just about everyone who has dealt with them. The employees will lie to your face. They mix up files and send the wrong information to the wrong patients. Their online records reflect incorrect dates and their online scheduling system does not work at all. Avoid this place at all costs! Even go to Phoenix if you have to. read more

The people all seemed nice enough there. The gal who did my x-ray was competent and kind. The wait time for an appointment that was made, kept me waiting 30 minutes past. My biggest problem is with the request to fill out paperwork before you get there. They added in a form with the others that says you want extra services not ordered by your doctor and not covered by your insurance. It will not let you proceed until you sign the form. This is a scam and I did not sign it. Do not sign the form!! They are trying to make you sign for extra services so they can charge you for things that you did not want, need or request!!!! This is a corporate trick to make you buy more from them. Unfortunately this is becoming more and more common as the bottom line is profitability, not health care. They are very incompetent. I was scheduled for an CT scan and got a call at 4:30 that machine was broke so had to drive 3 hours to get one done. I then needed an MRI had it scheduled and got a call the machine was down. I made another appointment to get this done and was told it was working. I went the day of the test just to be told the machine was broke yet again. This time they did not call me ahead of time and I drove over an hour to get there and had already taken the medication. Had appointment 10 days ago. Sitting in the waiting room waiting on the tech. They come in and tell me they have to cancel they sent tech to Prescott. 10 days later appointment rescheduled, on my way to appointment 30 minutes away (I have to travel 2 hrs to get there) and I receive a call again canceling my appointment. Same reason. I live on a budget 2 wasted trips, 2 wasted sick leave days, 100 worth of gas wasted and the only excuse is we have no excuse. You cancel on them without 24 hrs notice and you charge me $50. Try and call customer service and they don't answer their phones so I guess there's no customer service either. read more

They canceled my appointment days ahead of the appointment time because they didn't get authorization from my insurance company yet. I got it rebooked, but then they moved it to another day and time without consulting me (hey, I've got other things to do, too), so I got it moved back to the original time. The only thing I could complain about is that their booking system still thinks I never made my appointment and I occasionally get a random text telling me I have an order pending. Then when I arrived for my appointment, I'm greeted with, "Good morning. How can I help you?" I reply, "Good morning I'm here for an app..." Mid-sentence Lisa demands, "Your name?" The process to receive the x-rays was good and fairly quick. Technician was welcoming, kind and effective in positioning for the x-rays. The billing? Terrible! I am still trying to sort out billing errors from October 2022, and they've been threatening collections. My insurance covers x-rays with no deductible. However, they've been incorrectly submitting the claims to another insurance company not mine!! I just made my 5th call to their "billing" department. You can't ever be connected to the billing department, just the customer service call center, which to this point has not fixed the error. Time-wise each call has been one hour or more from waiting to be connected to then explaining and trying to resolve the issue. Because of this problem I won't ever use them again, even if the wait at FMC Radiology is long. read more

My experience trying to get a breast ultrasound was a nightmare! I received orders to have the ultrasound as a follow-up from a mammogram that was performed elsewhere. The orders were sent to SimonMed, per my request, because my appointment could be scheduled quickly. However, the receptionist failed to request images from the other facility and kept pressuring me to book another mammogram + ultrasound, which is redundant and unnecessary. I had to then make a call to the other facility to send over my mammogram images in order to make the appointment for the ultrasound. This whole process took 2 weeks, which included repetitive emails, phone calls and txt messages from SimonMed telling me that I need to reschedule, after I scheduled my appointment! I felt harassed and confused as to why this was happening for a single imaging appointment. The Tech assigned to do my ultrasound was rude, had no compassion for my choice and situation and tried to force me to do what I had already said no to in the beginning. On top of all that, the receptionists were loudly talking smack about other patients they'd seen recently, as well as their coworker (who was not there). Super unprofessional, and I will not return to SimonMed for imaging in the future. read more

I had a great experience today at this facility. The front desk ladies were very nice and understanding to my needs. The waiting area is very clean compared to other places I've been to in the past. My tech who did my MRI (I forgot his name) was extremely helpful, courteous and made me feel safe and comfortable during the process. He kept me up to speed on any delays, and made sure to get me in and out as quickly as possible. This was my very first time here, and after this experience I will be choosing to come back if I need any further medical images that they provide there. My husband had an appointment for a CT scan. It was scheduled a week out. We drive more than a half hour to get to this location. When we arrived, we were told they didn't have a technician that day. So scheduled for the following week. We decided to call ahead this time. Now ct equipment not working. Neither time did we get a phone call or text about canceling appointment. I would not recommend this facility. They aren't reliable and don't contact you when they aren't able to provide service. read more

This is ridiculous. How do you refuse to do your job in the medical field. Absolutely horrible and unacceptable. A 81 year old man had to be rescheduled at 445 pm because SimonMed protocol is insufficient and doesn't care about their customers. Most staff are rude and unprofessional. Favoritism and no management on site. If you care about people don't work here because clearly no one cares about the customers or people in general. After I came...I was told that Simon didn't received My previous imagines from Northern Arizona Radiology and they rescheduled me for 1.09.2024. It took me a week calling NAR and Smile in Scottsdale. They were telling me that they send it right away and ....Simon wasn't receiving. I was loosing my patience but eventually they got it. I went for the second app. on 1.09. They let me in and the lady who was taking the images was wonderful. She took a lot of pictures and said that you will send me results in a week. Until today I didn't hear from you. This place is horrible!! I've been there 3 times for a mammogram and every time has been at least an hour and a half wait even when they tell you come 15 minutes early. Their answer to the long wait is to reschedule, REALLY!! When you have to drive an hour to get there that is not an option. The front desk staff is unfriendly but I guess you can't blame them since they are always dealing with unhappy people having to wait so long. Beginning May 9,2022 I have experienced mountains of headaches with SimonMed Imaging of Flagstaff. I called to make an appointment for an MRI, they could not find the orders the Doctor had transmitted, so they said they would return my call within 48 hours. Four business days later, I again call them to request an appointment for a pre-authorized MRI appointment. Appointment was made for June 23, 2022 on a Thursday. I request the day off from work, arrive 30 minutes early, after waiting for 45 minutes, they see fit to inform me that the appointment was scheduled for the wrong orders, and that they would not be seeing me today. Grrrr. The appointment was rescheduled for July 11, 2022, I request another day off from work. On July 8, 2022, SimonMed calls me to inform me that they will no longer be performing the type of MRI that I am scheduled to receive and that my appointment is canceled. First, they tell me that they will be sending my orders to another radiology center. When I return the call to find out when the orders will be transferred, they tell me that they are unable to transfer the orders, and I will have to make another appointment with my doctor. The doctor cannot see me for another month, plus I have to request two more days off from work, one to see the doctor, another to go to a new radiology center. During all of these conversations the customer service from SimonMed was clipped, unresponsive, being hung up on and in a nutshell completely rude, I wish I had a job where I could converse with the customers in a passive aggressive manner, or directly hang up on them. I live 120 miles from here - but needed a series of 3T MRIs. My appts where scheduled fo 830, 845 and 930 and I was told by Jaimie I would be done by 10 am. As I have an appt with my Dr in Prescott Valley at 1pm. The tech has informed me that they scheduled 4 people in the middle of my series and only allocated 15 per series and so it would be more like 11 before I get my last MRI. I went to get X-rays. No problem, front desk lady was very nice. The tech called me a few hours later and told me he lost my xrays and asked if I could come back to redo them. I was furious- who wants more radiation and more possible to exposure to Covid? I will never go back there!!! read more
