I accompanied my dad to SimonMed after he was in an accident and his lawyers had sent him to get X-rays to make sure he was okay. The two young ladies at the front desk were very helpful and welcoming. We arrived about 10 minutes before his appointment and he was able to get his X-rays immediately. SimonMed was able to forward his X-rays directly to his lawyers and gave my dad an extra copy just in case. The waiting area was clean and was decorated for the Fourth of July. read more

I didn't even step foot in this place and I can tell it's ripe with "training issues" as Reeham has stated. I received a referral to SimonMed for dual shoulder MRI's with contrast. I actually had a referral somewhere else, but it was out a month and a half. My insurance called other providers before redirecting the referral, to make sure that they; 1. Provide the services needed and 2. Had availability sooner than what I had scheduled. Great. They had availability "as soon as today or tomorrow if (they) had the orders". Wait the 2 days for it to be redirected. I call (June 30th) and speak to someone who books me an appointment by LOOKING UP MY AUTHORIZATION. I am scheduled for July 11th at 10:15am. I then receive a text message on July 2nd saying that they hadn't received the order and would need to reschedule unless I got it to them. So, I call my insurance the fax it over and it is confirmed as received. I get another text message confirming my appointment and providing me with a link to fill out forms. Fast forward to July 9th. I receive another text message that says they cancelled my appointment because they don't have the order. I spend an hour and 45 minutes with my insurance on the phone as well as SimonMed on the line with my insurance. Appointment is moved to July 16th. They have the order at least... So I called SimonMed Imaging and they tell me that there's an issue with the order and that I need an MRI with contrast and without. Because they won't be able to compare. Ok... kinda makes sense. THEN...I get a text message this morning saying that they don't have my order for my appointment and that they will need to reschedule. So, I do what? I call again. I file a grievance with SimonMed Imaging. 45 minutes later. I learn that we are at an impasse. BUT I get a text with a link for forms for the appointment. Just got of the phone with Reeham (spelling?), who called me, and said that they don't do the service I need and that I will have to have my referral sent elsewhere. I ask how this happened. I was told it was a training issue. I seriously questioned that considering that between my insurance and myself, I spoke to 5 different people. This is a foundational issue. How would I even be able to trust any of their radiologists to even read the images? Sounds like a company that expanded too quickly, has a high rate of turnover and an abysmal management. Do yourself and spare yourself the headache and anger, go somewhere else. This is a laughable attempt at being a medical provider. read more

Only had to come here since workers comp sent me here. I've gone 3 times, 2/3 times it was fast one time I waited over an hour and half for my mri since the person before me was doing a full body scan. I came after work one time just to pick up the medicine report, I rang the bell multiple times and the lady wasn't letting me in. She seemed asleep with her head down on the table. So finally I knocked on the window and she looked like she woke up and than let me in. But other than that they are friendly. read more

Simonmed Imaging located in San Bernardino is ok. The employees/staff are friendly and helpful. The wait can get overwhelming and it can get crazy packed. Unfortunately I wore my lululemons to my MRI appointment because we came after the gym. I didn't know that the lululemons leggings have metal fibers in them. So I have to wear their hospital/Medical gowns. Why only 3 stars Its due to how disgusting their medical/hospital gowns smelled. They smelled like DJ DIRTY LAUNDRY!! Like WET MOP! I WAS MORTIFIED having to wear them. I didn't realize they smelled bad until I was already in the machine. So I was stuck for 40 minutes in the MRI machine. It was so uncomfortable because it's hella small but on top of smelling like wet mop. It was horrible AF! Like whoever is in charge of laundry needs to be fired! That was so nasty! I had to take a hot ass shower as soon as I got home! Omg I hope they read this a fix that because no one should have to get into a smelly nasty gown! read more

Went in Yesterday Labor Day 9-1-25 @ 9:30 am for a 9:45 Appointment.... I was immediately acknowledged with a smile . Office was empty with Myself being The Only Patient. Within 8 minutes I was being taken to the back for My MRI without Contrast. Christian was GREAT as was The Receptionist ( couldn't find My note with her name ‍ ) . I've had one other MRI & that one was HORRIBLE , a Complete tunnel & A Lot Louder ! I would have paid more with My PPO Deductible than as a cash patient without a doubt . The Office was Clean enough ( I have OCD ) ! I didn't need a gown ( they were neatly folded under the bench ) as I wore a one piece comfy jumpsuit & only needed to take off My Wired Bra. Took All Jewelry off nite before . Liked it was close to the freeway as I was coming from Devore about 20 minutes away. I almost didn't come here due to ALL THE NEGATIVITY ! But then Reviews nowadays are All Over The Place which are Very Misleading ! Glad I chose to come to this facility & would Definitely use it again if need be . It appears some of the reviews are with A NOT having NO Communication W B ! Corporate seems to have THE BIGGER ISSUE just like with MOST Big Corporations ! Also included was a CD for My records ( No extra charge ) on top of The Report sent over to My Sports Institute Physician by 11:30 am this morning which has NEVER happened with anything pertaining to Medical . This office is to be avoided. The wait times are long, the front desk is combative and unhelpful. I was to have three images down today. Two days ago, I was contacted and told that all previous films/were to be uploaded first. I was confused as this was not a diagnostic order - just a year mammogram. I found and explained this and was assured that everything would go forward as planned. When I arrived to my appointment, they again said that all the images and reports from prior mammograms needed to be uploaded. I explained that I had called and discussed this with an employee of the day before and they assured me that everything was fine and then I could show up this morning and get everything taken care of. The person at the front desk would not let me finish my sentence and told me that I would not be seen when I tried once again, to explain the situation. She raised her voice and told me it wouldn't be happening. I walked out. It is incredibly unprofessional and, because they have different people speaking to you when you call then are those at the front desk lines get crossed and information gets lost. Hard-working individuals schedule time off from work and family to get these necessary images. Because of the inefficiency behind the scenes time was lost for me, as well as the techs that work so hard to take care of us. Pros: They scheduled me quickly. When they had to re-schedule me (their machine broke), they did so quickly. They are reasonably priced. The staff on-site is friendly. I was able to get a CD of my images afterward. Meh: Images are not super sharp, but I got what I paid for in that. Cons: They are not organized. They don't communicate well. The lab techs were wearing their street clothes and not the scrubs or medical-type clothes most techs wear at work (it made me think they weren't taking their job seriously). There was a discrepancy in my results (by a factor of 10) and when I called in to get them to fix the error, it took over 15 minutes for them to forward my concern to some other department. read more

My experience was pretty terrible at the San Bernardino location. The Redlands location is only slightly better but both places look super run down on the inside and are not very clean or organized. Most importantly, I had to do a contrast shot when doing an MRI at the San Bernardino location and the person assisting me could not locate my vain... He had to call in another person to assist him and together they still struggled. They end up pricking me 3 different times leaving me with major bruising that took about a week to go back to normal. I would never recommend any family or friends to go there for imaging. read more

I arrived at 8:50 am for my 9:15 MRI appointment this morning. All the forms and orders were already sent in advance. I was fasting for a contrast study, and they were aware that my medical condition put me at risk for fainting if I did not eat within 1 hour. When I arrived, I was told it would only be a 5 minute wait, and the test would only take 30 minutes. There were only 3 other patients in the waiting room, but at 9:58 am, I still had not been called. When I went up to the front desk, the receptionist now said it would be another 30 minutes before I would be called, because patients were scheduled every 15 minutes, but tests were taking 30 minutes or more to get done, and she removed the sign that said "MRI's 5 minute wait." I asked her to reschedule, but she said I would have to call the 800#. This is clearly a management problem, not an employee problem. read more

**UPDATE BELOW I... Capital "H" HATE wasting my time. The only thing worse than me wasting my time is having someone waste it for me. That was Simon Med today. 1pm appointment, so I arrived at 12:45 as requested. Several came after me and left before me. At one point I heard someone at front desk say, "we don't do that, should I tell her." My gut felt something was not right, I even called TWICE beforehand to make sure it would not be a wasted trip. Reason being, 1) for the temporary metal in mouth and, 2) I asked about contrast since I almost died of anaphylaxis from contrast, I needed to know. Person responding to contrast call said I needed to ask doctor. Person about metal question said I should be fine. Neither had definite answers, so I went to appointment. Once there I waited an hour and a half before changing into gown. Just as I walked in to get MRI on neck I was told they don't do that type (flex/extend) there. REALLY?!!! It's not exactly a hop, skip or jump to that facility and if you haven't driven the Cajon Pass, TRY IT! I was so livid I wanted to cry. Thank God storm incoming hadn't arrived. Not a single call BEFORE my appointment said anything about their facility not being able to accommodate me. Not even did my prescription/referral in their hand raise any red flag with front desk. 12-15-21 UPDATE. I'm happy to say the higher ups at Simon Med were very considerate and understanding. First the message from Lindsay below then an email from Tenley and finally a call from Arizona. I forgot her name but oh so professional and understanding, telling me they will see to it their staff is on the same page to avoid conflicting information given to patients in the future. Nothing beats great customer service. KUDOS to Simon Med management for going out of their way, not once, but THREE times to make sure I was okay. YAY and thank you! This is not to single out younger generations but what happened to the Golden Rule? Where you treat people the way you want to be treated? Where was the transparency in telling me early on that I could not have test there? Does anyone at front desk not understand what it can do to people with health issues? Anxiety and pain are just two. The gods willing your Beverly Hills location is better. Because in two weeks I'll be there. Time wasted aside, gas prices aren't exactly joy ride conducive. Should anyone in their management read this, so you know... The two I spoke with back office were nice. This review does not apply to them. To the several at front desk, thanks for WASTING my entire day. Try putting yourself in someone's shoes for a second. At least one person knew I could not be seen yet they had me wait for nothing. I was injured at work, so my physician sent me SimonMed for an MRI scan. The first time I visited I waited an hour past my appointment. I asked how much longer and the receptionist told me another 45 minutes. The receptionist proceeded to tell me I can leave to have lunch and she'll call me when they were ready for me. I came back for my scan and she told me it'll be another 30 minutes. I told them I needed to leave because I had other arrangements. Another receptionist came to me and said they will reschedule me for another week at 12:30PM. She said this will make sure I am the first patient they see. I came back to SimonMed for my rescheduled appointment. I waited for almost another half an hour past my appointment. My mom was frustrated and asked how much longer. The receptionist told her I was scheduled for 1:00PM. THAT WAS NOT TRUE. She lied my appointment was at 12:30PM. I wrote it down to make sure I arrived before then. They are strange. I filled out the "online" forms ahead of time and arrived 10minutes early for my appointment. When I arrived, they wanted me to fill out the same forms on paper (so I basically didn't save any time with the electronic forms). Why? Like everyone else writing here, I waited for 90 minutes to be called. There were about 10 employees around and 1 busy tech. How can a company survive like that? The imaging tech was wonderful, swift, and efficient (the reason this isn't 1 star). The reason for the delay, she said, was a challenging patient. Yet in front they told my husband that the reason for the delay was equipment problems. They also said that they usually run on time. Really? What's even weirder is right as I was about to be called, I got a message that SimonMed booked/changed my appointment to a later time, perhaps to reflect the time I was actually seen? But this happened without speaking to me in person. I received an email at 2:41 to say I'd booked at 2:45 appointment. Spooky? Came to SimonMed Imaging this morning for X-rays for my 8 year old daughter's wrist and unfortunately had to bring my 1 1/2 year old with us today who is very rambunctious and curious and full of energy. The woman up front, Saira, got us back into the X-ray room so quickly and we were done with everything before I knew it! I stressed the importance of needing the results quickly for my daughters orthopedist and they assured me they would take care of it.
