They will sit their behind their computers not saying a word or get up and leave. I'm apprehensive about coming here because of that. They were so quick to make an appointment with and had plenty of availability! Once we got there the girl who did our ultrasound was great! She showed us our baby and even gave us some I believe 3D previews even though I only went in for the 2D! It was so fun to see our baby in 3D and she said in a couple more weeks he will be even more defined! We enjoyed going in with our toddler and the experience. We will be back soon to get a better look at our son in 3D/4D. Thank you got a great and easy experience!

We unfortunately didn't catch her name, but she was very nice and welcoming. I mentioned my biggest concern was making sure our baby was okay, and she took the time to reassure us by showing us our baby's movements and heartbeat. She never made us feel rushed and made what had been a very stressful few days were so much easier. I highly recommend this place!

The nurses in the front were nice. But when it came to making sure I knew the plan for my brother the nurse (Kim) in the back was very rude. Not professional at all and wearing a Cowboys jersey. I have never seen that kind of attire accepted anywhere in healthcare. Only 1 doctor seeing one patient every 45 minutes to an hour. We had to wait over 3 hours to even be seen for the doctor to look at him for 5 minutes and tell he is good to go once he fills out the paperwork. I would not bring my loved ones here if you don't have to.

After my yearly annual physical, I usually go here for my blood work done. It's a quite simple process; you go up to the kiosk and answer a few questions. This time, there was someone to help you answer questions, but it wasn't like I didn't know how to answer them. I guess other people needed assistance but it's nice to see that they have people there to help. After checking in, they call your name in the order that you checked in. I warned her that I don't like to watch because I would faint if I saw the needle or blood. I had a lovely lady draw my blood. We were chatting and she did a wonderful job distracting me while she took my blood. Quick process.

I would not recommend Grand Terrace Health Care Center. My father's physician orders clearly…read morespecified his medication dosage, yet he was given 1.25 mg instead of 0.25 mg--a 500% dose. The error was only discovered because I specifically asked to review his medication list myself. When I questioned the staff, I was told the hospital had provided the incorrect dosage. After reviewing the records, I concluded that explanation was not accurate. Rather than taking accountability, I felt the responsibility was shifted elsewhere. What concerned me even more was the pressure I felt to sign an arbitration agreement that would limit my ability to bring legal claims. Between the medication error, the lack of accountability, and that experience, I have serious concerns about the quality of care and transparency at this facility. Families should carefully review their loved one's medications and ask questions.

But Lucy Salaki has made this difficult situation bearable. She made sure we understood every step along the way. Answered a million questions, always returned phone calls as soon as possible. I never felt rushed or insignificant. I highly recommend this facility if your loved ones need a great skilled nursing facility.
