I came back at the ETA he gave me and my phone was ready to go. Thanks Frank for being reliable and efficient. (Sidebar- I'd like to shine some more light on Franks' customer service skills. When I walked in, Frank was assisting another customer over the phone. I can tell that the customer was giving him a hard time. He never responded disrespectfully or in a condescending tone. He was kind and respectful throughout the duration of the call.)

Once we arrived, we were told the part was actually not in stock and that it would need to be "outsourced," adding another 15 minutes to the wait. What was concerning was that the outsourcing appeared to involve a random technician down the street who ultimately ended up handling the phone out of the store's property and in his house (very sketchy). After waiting nearly three hours, we were informed that the glass could not be replaced due to alleged "software issues." Throughout the process, communication was poor, timelines constantly changed, and the entire situation felt disorganized and unprofessional. The experience raised several red flags, particularly regarding where the phone was taken, who was actually performing the repair, and the lack of transparency from the business. If you're considering having an expensive device repaired here, I would strongly encourage you to proceed with caution and ask detailed questions before leaving your phone in their possession.

He does all techie repairs phones, laptops, computers etc.... and has a couch to wait if it's a quick turn around and lends you a charger even. While I was there many customers came in picked up there stuff and were on their way greeting each other like old friends. Good vibes all around. It's personalized friendly fast prompt reasonably Priced service. I hope he does well but also that he keeps that level of personalized and effective customer service. I asked for an OLED screen because that is what's compatible with the 16 pro and he said no problem come back in 15-20 mins. I went to pick up my phone and after receiving it I noticed the screen was a bit raised and mentioned it to the tec and he said it was supposed to be like that because of the screen he put on it. he had shut the phone off to do the repair so I powered it up on my way back to my car and before I even got in there were white and green streaks going across my phone. I immediately turned around and went back in to confront the tec and the store was closed up with a sign that said "we will be back in 30 mins". After waiting over an hour for this dude to come back he tried to tell me I dropped the phone and this could only happy if there was impact. I promised him I hadn't dropped my phone and didn't even leave the stores premises before it was fucked up again. He tried to charge me an additional $200 to do the replacement again and after I told him that was bs he did it for free. 15 mins later he is done and hands me the phone back and the screen is still raised again. I asked if he put the OLED screen in like I requested and he said that they had run out of them So he just used the LCD screen they had in stock. So now I have the LCD screen on my phone and it is having all types of problems with the touch screen and display (typing random things and the brightness is going from 0-100 and 100-0 constantly, the phone is also overheating whenever I use it. I will never be going back to this place. He didn't tell me they were out of OLED screens until after he was done THE 2ND TIME. If he had told me they had no OLED screens I would have went elsewhere.

To my surprise and disappointment, the Apple Store was no longer stocking either for my model, an Xs Max. Immediately outside the store was a kiosk selling all sorts of accessories for numerous brands of mobile phones. While I was looking for a black or gray phone case, which they did not have, I settled for a blue one. The rep, whose name was Chilli, expertly removed my damaged screen protector, cleaned the screen, and placed a tempered glass protector. He did the same for the case protector. I was done in less than 5 minutes, mission accomplished. Highly recommend this as an alternative to Apple Store for your Apple compatible accessories.
