I ran into him at the Lowes in Kathleen back in March where he informed me that his wife had been transferred with her job to Milledgeville and he had taken the plunge to start his own business. I'm an IT guy and have done my best to tackle the many issues of my new pool but after failing in removing the ever increasing black mold, I gave him a call. When the workers came, they told me I had the wrong liner. Scheduling the day of work was a bit difficult. First I was told it was too hot for the guys to work. My thinking was "Of course it's going to be hot, it's summer". Then I got a text message to confirm a date of a Saturday in June. I called the lady after I got the text to go over a few things and she no idea who I was. She asked me where I lived and I told her. She said they're not gonna be anywhere near that area on Saturday. I was like you just told me via text you were coming. Then in an email, she said I needed to get "10-50 lbs of play sand". I bought 50 pounds just to be safe. Finally when the workers did arrive and we got past the issue with the liner ( that's after I had to run to a pool store and buy 45 plastic retaining clips) they asked me if I had any duct tape. I had a little bit left so I gave it to them. I showed them the sand that I bought then ran out to do a few errands. Shortly after I left the lady called and said I needed to buy more sand. According to her, I was instructed to buy 10, 50 pound bags of sand. I tried to explain to her that when you between put a hyphen between two numbers it indicates a range. she couldn't understand that part. So I ran back to the store again to buy more sand. When I return home, the workers if I had more duct tape. I said to the I was literally just at Home Depot. Why didn't you tell me before I left. So I had to run out to the store a third time. Oh, I forgot to mention that the day before the work was actually done I was on the schedule for the afternoon. Needless to say nobody ever showed up. I had to call the office mid afternoon to find out what's going on. Like everybody else I just love wasting my day waiting for people to show up and dont.

Tile work was redone twice in certain areas and not cleaned, so we have red clay and grout we must try to clean ourselves. The worst came a few weeks ago , when the company that poured the concrete came banging on our door asking to be paid. We told him that we paid Montego Pools with a pool loan and that checks were sent directly to the owner, Scott Dolan in paid out in several installments from March-June 2021. The man from the concrete company said that he has been trying to contact the owners and that they have not paid them. Flash forward to today 8/16/2021..... we got a certified letter stating that there was a lien placed on our house and that it was removed on 8/12/2021. I feel that this is fraud that Scott Dolan took our money that was paid on time to his company and that he is not paying his vendors. My new home was in jeopardy because he is not paying his bills. We are beyond upset about this. We really like our pool , we have enjoyed it but the aggravation of having a lien put on our home due to his negligence is unacceptable.

Despite multiple calls and emails, they were largely unresponsive. When we finally reached them, they agreed to a monthly maintenance plan. However, beyond superficial cleaning, they failed to resolve major issues. The pool loses water, makes strange noises, and the hot tub empties itself. They sent a cleaner who had no clue how to diagnose or explain the issue. On my second call, a manager named John promised a resolution but only offered vague updates. He also addressed me inappropriately, calling me "brother," then abruptly ended the call. In summary, YammyPool has ignored critical issues, provided no solutions, and continues to charge us while leaving the system malfunctioning. We expect a prompt, professional resolution or we will escalate further.

They tore up the yard, which is normal, but then spread all the dirt over 50 feet of my yard whereas the contract is supposed to be 4 ft. My husband saw what he was doing and ran out to stop the workers - of course it was the owners brother. This cost us an additional 8,000 for sod and installation. That was the beginning of the sh*t show- if something could go wrong with the build they sure figured out how to do it (wrong). They broke part of the concrete in our driveway, and since it's in the contract...they are not responsible for any damage to your property. Installed pebble tek while we were out of town, although they said they would call; then when they put the hose in the pool and let not telling anyone. We got a call from our neighbor that our yard was flooding. We have now waited over a month for them to fix our hot tub, heater is putting a code out and they are not responding to any calls or texts. I could go on, but just heed the warnings when you see several bad reviews about this company. It's true and go somewhere else.
