They assured me that even though FedEx dropped the ball (or in this case, the bass!) Sweetwater would replace my purchase. Sweetwater even called a few days after the delivery was finally made to make sure my bass had been delivered and was in good shape. Sweetwater has been a dream to work with for every purchase I have made! If only I could play bass as well as Sweetwater serves after the sale!

The inventory caters to guitarists and bassists, primarily, but they will occasionally have a drum kit or two in the store as well. I peaked at a high-end-Gretsch, a vintage Fender jazz bass, and a blackface Bassman amp they had kicking around. I might have walked out with an impulse purchase if I hadn't been so pressed for time. The whole place was clean and well organized - not often a feature common to music shops. They had a wonderful selection of 60s-70s music playing in-store. Both Andy and Mike seem to love what they do; there was none of the jadedness you often find in retail. I'd highly recommend them, and I also recommend checking out the owner's pet project, a recording studio called "Dirty White Couch."
