I've been using TurboTax for as long as I can remember. I did not want to drive up to Vancouver. So we did everything by phone/zoom & electronically. Here is his process: I called Paul at a designated time, and we chatted for a bit. He then asked me some questions, and directed me to his online platform. Paul's tax prep "organizer" is awesome. Many of the same questions from our phone call were reiterated and then documentation for my answers requested immediately below. It made the process easy to understand and I could do it in bite-sized chunks. There is also a spot just to the right where you can see the full array of everything you've loaded so you don't have to scroll and peck to discover if you remembered to load a particular document. After I finished, I notified him and he came back with information that enabled me to save more on my return. Actually, that one piece of info ended up saving me a lot. Our wrap up zoom conversation was instructive and pleasant. Paul has the heart of a teacher, and he took me through the process step by step so I could see how all the calculations panned out. He also gave me information that will help for next year. I totally loved working with him and will absolutely recommend him to my friends.
