I asked if I could pay a fee and cancel the lease early. I was told that I had to pay the entire lease and they would give no exceptions. I would have happily paid an extra month but to have to pay the entire lease seemed inhumane. They do say that is their policy in the lease agreement but I think they should make allowances for the difficult experiences people go through. I told the manager and regional manager that I would be giving them a low yelp review and that I disagreed with their decision. Also they took $375 for a reconditioning fee and $200 for mail delivery fee leaving me with $20 back in my security deposit. I've worked with other office spaces who have more humane policies with some compassion room for people facing difficult situations but this is not one of them.

I was scrambling to find a place. I reached out to Denise from lawworks and she was so quick to get back to me. She was extremely nice and thoughtful. When I arrived, Daniela let me in and showed me the space. Going through the LSAT was so nervewrecking but the lawworks staff certainly helped to make it easier. I requested to have the carpets cleaned in the hallway and they got it taken care of. I am a clean individual so I clean what I see is dirty around the facility. It takes a collective effort to keep up with the place. My grandmother would say. We are poor but we are not dirty people. I am lucky to have the freedom to decorate my space any way I'd like and be able to start a small business. I'm one of the few that has a rad recording booth. I'm very proud of my little femme den.
