Lizeth is amazing! I have gone to her for the last 4 or 5 years. Before Lizeth I owed money but when I switched to her, I have gotten a refund every year since! She knows exactly what she is doing, has informed me what I can do from my hospitality jobs in Las Vegas to my mid year move to normal office work in Los Angeles, even accommodating our appointment though ft! I have used their services for a few years, but have had troubles with their response time the whole time. I stayed with them because I trusted Lizeth and felt confident in her knowledge. However, as of late, the response time is terrible. I submitted all of my paperwork for my taxes prior to the coronavirus lock down. All that needed to be done was just submit it. We feel like we are being held hostage, because she has all of our tax paperwork. It takes about six or so messages after a week or so before I get a response . As of this moment, they have my taxes and I am concerned about getting them done now. I am hoping that I can take them to someone else to help me out. I highly do not recommend their services them until they figure out their customer service support and timely work. read more

Be aware!!!! AVOID THIS PLACE!!! Unfortunately I was returning customer for 2 consecutive years. I even convinced my cousins to go here because I was really satisfied in the beginning. And then... my husbands tax were not straight up I started receiving Long letters from IRS that I didn't understand what it is about and obviously I'm gonna contact the person which did my taxes- Spartak. For a couple of months it was back and forth. Send him numerous of messages called him couple of times, occasionally he would answer. OCCASIONALLY while I was out of my mind and time limited by IRS until couple of days ago when I received another letter from IRS that needed response in 10 days. Texted Spartak, called him, called office (I was told he is on another call and he is going to call me right back - NEVER DID!!) Very unprofessional, unethical, selfish, rude. I'm gonna make sure to spread the word out there AVOID this place 100%!!! read more

I was abandoned​ by my last tax preparer​ and I was freaking out! I owed all this money and didn't know what to do. She assured me everything​ was going to be ok! She said it's​ not going to be a quick fix but if listen and do what she recommends​ everything​ will turn​ out ok. **Update** In response to Lizeths comment First off, I wanted to say that I am a very honest person and would not post anything just to bash anyone. I gave you guys my ID upon the first appointment and you guys scanned it for your records, and I am unsure of how I was "unprepared", I had all of my W2 and documents. I also dont understand how that would have affected you guys submitting my taxes. After the appointment, I left with a printout of my 2017 taxes all completed... All that was left to do was for you guys to submit it into the system. Also, initially I was quoted that my taxes would have been done for free. But since I had an out of state item, we (Brenda and I), had an agreement on a fee of 29.00 dollars, which I paid you guys. (see my posted pictures). If you guys dont plan on providing a service properly for discounted clients, then don't offer them. You also stated that I sent my ID during the weekend, which is false, because according to my messages, the first one I sent to Brenda was on 4/3/2018, which was a tuesday. The second one I sent because "she didnt receive the first one" was on 4/9/2018 which was a monday. So I dont know where you are getting your "facts" from but I have kept everything from my messages to Brenda. Although my taxes ended up being submitted before the deadline, it was because I was constantly trying to contact you guys, and it ended up being almost 2 months since my initial appointment. I also didn't want to write this response but you are making me seem like I was the one at fault which I clearly was not. I am just glad it is all completed. Thank you for your time. ----------- 4/16/2018 original review I did not want to write this review but my experience was horrible, and I wanted to share it with you guys. I went and got my taxes done real early this year because I travel for work and didnt know when the next time I would have the opportunity to do so. So I got my taxes done on Feb 21, 2018.. Then I left to california for work..... A month later, I still have not got my refund so I called Brenda and asked her if she has heard anything back about my taxes. She said that she will check and get back to me. I didnt hear back from her and I texted her asking if she heard anything. I got no reply. I was busy at work and didnt have time till the following weekend to check up with her. I called and left Brenda a message and she didnt pick up but she sent a text saying that she heard back from them and said she needed me to send them a copy of my ID so they can send it to the IRS. I thought that was weird because the first thing they asked me for when I went there to get my taxes done was my ID, so they can copy it. Anyway, I sent Brenda a copy of my ID, I did not hear back from her and I assumed everything was good. The weekend came and I decided to check on the IRS website to check the status of my refund and it said my info was incorrect.. I thought ... hmmm... thats weird.. so I called Brenda again and she told me that she did not receive my photo ID... It got sent to her on my end but i really dont know what happened, so I sent her another copy. Then it was the waiting game again for me.. In the meantime, I have been monitoring the refund status on the IRS website to check the status and it said the same thing everytime..... your info is incorrect... So I called simplex back to ask them why it kept saying that. Their response was processing takes time, but it has been 3 days since I sent Brenda my picture of my ID... I didnt think it took more then a couple of days for my tax forms to be submitted.. So today, its nearing the tax deadline and I start to panic a little.. (I didnt want to get screwed over on my taxes this year) Brenda told me to wait but I didnt want to wait past the deadline and get penalized, so I called IRS to make an appointment to talk to a representative to extend my tax deadline.. They check everywhere in the system and tell me your info has not been submitted.. I trust them more then I do Brenda, so I called simplex and they message back saying to text them... Turns out, I was messaging Lizeth and she said that she would check it out when she gets into the office.. I call back an hour later from the last message to check up on it and the person who answered told me that it should be processing... I check the IRS website and it actually finally said my tax forms have been submitted and processing... Almost 2 months later from when I did my taxes with them... This has been a real pain, but I am glad it is over... They are really sweet people but I will not be doing my taxes with them in the future... Thank you for taking the time to read this... We were looking for a professional to help us file our taxes and this place had great reviews. I called and made an appointment with Brenda as she seemed knowledgeable on the phone. When we arrived we learned that their "office" didn't have any doors and anyone sitting in the waiting/ receptionist area was only a few feet away hearing every word of any conversation. I find this to be very unprofessional for a place that is supposed to handle sensitive information such as your taxes. We were taken by surprise and stayed for the moment being. The receptionist asked us to sign in and then didn't say a word for the next 15 minutes. No mention of sorry she's running behind or anything like that. He then handed us a long form to fill out. At that point we decided we weren't comfortable sharing our information with them and left 20 min after our appointment should have been. During our wait one of them printed out some paperwork that the printer spit all over the floor. So much to personal information staying personal. That was just the last straw for us. I'm rating this place 1 Star, because this is not an appropriate location/office to have taxes done and I wish someone would have left a review mentioning that to me before we wasted our time coming here to an appointment that they couldn't even keep nor apologized for not keeping. I cannot speak for their knowledge as I never met any of them and will certainly not return. In response to the owner's response to my review: We arrived at 2:02 for our 2:00pm appointment. The receptionist was not on the phone when we arrived. As to your office. Our appointment wasn't with you so we would not have been in that office of yours and neither you nor any of your employees spoke to us in the 15 min we waited before being handed that form. It really doesn't matter what the form was for and it only made us realize how uncomfortable we were in your establishment. I actually find it even more unprofessional that you're trying to discredit my review by pretending we arrived later than we did. My review was objective to what I experienced. Had one of you taken the time to speak with us when we arrived on time for our appointment maybe my review would have been different. However you only came out of you office to pick up paper from the floor. On a side note, the soap in your bathroom is empty. I hope you are more accurate with the tax numbers of your clients than with your number memory for the time we arrived. read more

I've never done my taxes here before but I recently moved from California and I had some inherited stock that I wasn't sure how to process. I had some family in the hospital at the start of this year and I wound up coming in the day the taxes were due and I got serviced almost immediately and was out of the door very quickly. The price I paid was more than the person I went through in California but still reasonable and he waived the fee for the California state filing so I can't complain.
