They were extremely helpful with explaining to me why what they felt my cards would be worth. I had brought in quite a bit of cards so it took two people to look through the stack I brought in. In the end I did end up selling my cards and seal sets to them. They do 60% cash offer and 70% store credit. Looking at the prices on display I felt that the amount they said my cards would be worth sounded about right. Instead, there was basically no stock, barely anything worth looking at, and the kid working the counter acted like helping customers was an inconvenience. No greeting, no effort, no interest in answering a single question. If you're going to charge premium prices, at least act like you want people in the store. Terrible customer experience, and definitely not worth the trip or the money. I won't be back, and I'd tell anyone serious about sports cards to spend their money somewhere else.

I called the number listed and the automated message said to text the number instead for faster response. So I did and someone replied right away and after I told him what I was looking for, he quickly confirmed they had it in stock and told me to get down there! It's a super tiny shop in a shopping plaza but inside, it's a Pokemon treasure trove. So many cards and boxes. I'm a bit lost on the Pokemon culture, but my boys were going nuts when they saw some rarer stuff. One of the rarer cards was going for $300! "Geeking Out" doesnt even begin to describe what my boys were going through. We ended up buying a few booster packs of the new Destined Rivals series and I guess that purchase qualifed us to play a bonus game. They had a setup behind the counter where you got to toss a ping pong ball and if you got it into a certain cup, you would win the prize that was written on the cup. My 9-year old's toss was right on the money and he plopped the ball right into one of the cups and the entire staff lost their minds cheering for him. His grin was HUGE. My 6-year old - bless his little heart - missed all the cups. The owner came around the counter and showed my 9 year old what he won - a free pack of limited edition cards. He turned to my 6-year old and said he didn't want him to feel left out so he grabbed another pack and handed it to him. My boys were so over-the-moon. All these things just added up to one of the best consumer experiences I've ever had. This is the reason you should go to an independent shop like this instead of a souless, big-box store. We are already talking about going back this weekend to get more pokemon cards.
