This store seems to cater to all these events and more. They have all the usual party supplies, as well as a limited supply of costumes. Service was not good. I was early picking up an order of 2 balloons ($30.00) and they made me wait…read more45 minutes and said to come back. They said they were busy trying to fulfill orders. However, I was the only person in the store and it seriously only took 5 minutes to blow them up. i also bought 40$ worth of items that morning and the rep ringing me up was going to complete my balloon order. however the manager said NO she will have to come back. Also one of the 2 balloons were flat by the time of the party 3 hours later. This is not the first time that I paid for a group of balloons and then they were flat in less than 24 hours. I don't recommend spending the extra money on Party City.

I hate to give a bad rating to a small store run by its proprietor, but the "jokes, magic,…read morecostumes, and rentals" here are sorely lacking. Ruth Cooper is the owner and although she is very nice, the store is filled with various packaged magic tricks and practical jokes that look like they were made in the 1970s. Also, the store doesn't have enough "joke" stuff, so there is a wall of purses and miscellaneous non-joke stuff. Maybe those purses have to do with the "costumes," but I don't think so. I guess if you live in Solvang, this is where you would go for your jokes and magic paraphenalia. Otherwise, go online or to one of those magic stores in a mall; you'll find a much better selection elsewhere!
