My iPhone was malfunctioning after the last update. The guys at Tmobile could not fix it so they said to try Simply Mac. I walked in the door and explained that my phone was malfunctioning. Without touching my phone, I was told that I must pay $20. When I explained that the phone was under warranty, they said that was the way it worked. I left and got in touch with Apple who did not demand $20 just to talk to me. Don't waste your time with this store, just go directly to the Apple Store. read more

Had an issue with my iPhone that the Verizon store couldn't fix and they recommended I come here. I was very impressed. All of the employees are knowledgeable, and they were able to figure out my phone was bad, help me transfer my saved information to the iCloud and download it to my new device. I also spot checked a few of the accessories, and their prices were competitive. Definitely give them a look! read more

I bought an iPad Pro but later learned that I couldn't use it on Verizon. I brought it back and Cory gave me a refund quickly and without any crap at all. I didn't buy anything this trip, but my last computer came from this store and so will my next one. This is a great place with great people and a terrific alternative to the Apple Store. read more

I have been dealing w an ongoing problem with my Macbook Pro after a system crash. I cannot say enough about the outstanding tech support I got from Erin and Matt at Simply Mac in East Cobb. They were able to guide me through the diagnostics, make the appropriate recommendations and then ensure that all data transferred properly. Thank you, Erin! I called the store to see if they had what I needed and even got a price (which most places won't give to you nowadays). I was assured the prices were the same as the Apple stores, which was true (again, most places will lie to you nowadays). Came in, talked to Erin, got exactly what I needed for the price I was told (plus tax). I asked about an accessory and Erin was honest and said they didn't have it and didn't try to sell me on anything I hadn't asked for. They are also open fairly late in the evening, which is a bonus for me (less traffic). I'll definitely be saving myself from an anxiety ridden trip to the mall and stick with this store for my future Apple needs. (: read more

They should be embarrassed to have "Mac" in their name! Went in for any brand of wired keyboard (cuz you need one connected to do CMD+OPT etc combinations to run problem solving options). They did not have or sell or offered to order...They don't have anything but overpriced "designer" accessories. Since my computer was "dead" I was WILLING to buy ANY Mac mini ($750-$950) and they didn't have even ONE in stock! Only unninterested clerks on hand...This is the LAST time I'll even bother with this place ANY time I have an Apple need! read more

This was one of my favorite places when it was Peachmac. Now it is one of the worst cases of a good company gone bad I have ever seen. Beware of the nasty manager Chris. I scheduled and paid for a training which was confirmed by email. When I arrived the manager, Chris, told me the appointment was not going to happen he offered no help, no solutions, no option to remedy or reschedule. He simply told me that the employee who made the appointment should not have because the employee had not clear it through him. This is the second encounter I have had with Chris and both were horrible. DON'T GO THERE FOR ANYTHING! I am writing the corporate office and Chris's supervisor. We went to the East Cobb Simply Mac store today to make a $2113.74 purchase of a Macbook Pro with the bundle. John told us that there was a Macbook Pro with an unsealed box that would be 10% less. We agreed to purchase this one. I paid with my credit card. Before leaving, I checked the receipt and noticed that the student discount had not been deducted. John, The sales person said, oh I must have made a mistake. Later, he said Oh..sorry we only gave you only $50 off of the unsealed computer. I combined the student discount and the $50 under one discount. A $50 discount on unsealed computers is Mac's policy. John did not tell me about this change. This was dishonest. I asked to speak to the manager, Chris. Chris came out, and I told him about the situation. He said it is Mac's policy only $50 off of unsealed computers. My son told John that we would just get the new system as $50 wasn't worth it. I then told the manager, Chris, that John had acted dishonest and unprofessional. Had John of told me before that he made a mistake and asked me to make a choice before he completed the transaction for me to discover on my own, I would think differently. Manager, Chris, said I know you told me that over there in what seemed a very condescending tone. We have purchased a Macbook Pro and two Ipads at this store. We try to buy local: however, with the combination of dishonesty and the manager's inappropriate tone, I just asked for a full refund. We have a choice to spend our $2000 elsewhere. False advetising and bait and switch. I went on line to their corporate site it offered $378 for my used mac. I tried to call store and was put on hold indefintiely. So I went in to store and was told that not only would they not keep the offer but if I wanted to sell the mac I would need to pay for repairs which would cost more the offer the mac was. I was given the runaround and really felt tht they had no intention of purcahse of my mac. I have a real issue with companies not standing by their corporate website claims. To follow up. After my bad experience, I called apple customer service to let them know about the poor performance of an authorised care provider. Apple said they tried 4 times to contact simply Mac. When I asked about cost of repairs, they took pity on me and wanted to fix it for FREE! With in 4 days they had my computer back to me good as new. They said no evidence of water damage. The screen problem was caused by a damaged ribbon cable as I suspected. I never heard back from simply mac. read more

Just left the Simply Mac Store where I purchased a audio speaker for a i pod for a Christmas present. First time out of the box it did not work, tried to return it to the store to have it replace and was waited on by a very rude employee who offered no solutions to my faulty item. Store manager would not come out to address my issue. Was told by the employee that their home office was in Utah but they had no numbers to address complaint. Then he accused me of being dishonest about spending money at the store, said most customer don't tell the truth about shopping shopping and spending money there. Do yourself a favor and shop at a real Apple store much better customer service. read more

I have apple care for my mac , I called them and after long conversation they told me I need new display for my Mac , I went the this store because no appointment needed and it was close to my home ,after I dropped it they told me the tech will call in 1 to 2 days to tell me the diagnosis , after 4 days finally the tech called me to tell me it needs new display , and It will take another 5 days to install because they have only one tech who comes every other day . Colossal waste of a month!! I attempted to purchase a battery for my iphone 6. After never getting anyone to answer the phone and having no luck getting their website to accept a request for a battery, I drove to the location to put my name on the waiting list for one. My phone was examined, and I was instructed to replace the screen before I came back for the battery exchange because I had a a tiny crack at the very edge of one side. I complied. At no time was I told that the screen had to be replaced at a particular location. I finally received an email letting me know that my battery was in, and AGAIN, I had to drive to the location to make an appointment to get it installed because no one EVER answers their phones. I went back today at my scheduled appointment time, and was informed that if anything went wrong during the battery exchange process, they would not take responsibility because my screen had been replaced by Asuron (I used my Verizon insurance policy to replace it.) No where in any of the confirmation information that I was emailed did it say I had to get the screen repaired anywhere in particular. I agreed not to hold them responsible if it did not work, and left my phone. Two hours later, I hear that I have to come back and get the phone. They will not replace the battery because I had the screen replaced. Why did no one say that was a problem any of the multiple times I talked to them. I jumped through all of their hoops and wasted a ton of time. I am furious, and the employee who took my phone and lead me to believe that it would be fixed was a complete arrogant jerk. No other way to describe his behavior. None of them took any responsibility for the fact that I had been strung along while they wasted my time. Don't waste your time there. read more

Horrible customer service. I tried to exchange/return a Christmas gift on Dec 27th that was purchased from their Black Friday sale but prior to Black Friday. The item I was returning was brand-new in the box, and I was just looking for an exchange. I was told by the staff that I could not exchange it because it was past 30 days. But if I bought it on Black Friday I would've been able to exchange it because that's when their extended return policy started. Again I purchased this at their pre-Black Friday sale. The staff told me I should understand the return policy and I should read Better Business Bureau article stating it's the consumers job to understand their return policy. Remember, this was a holiday gift purchased during their pre-Black Friday sale. I suggest you deal directly with Apple oanother vendor. I would never recommend this company and will never shop there again. read more

Had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with Peach Mac this afternoon. I was looking for a cable that apple offers and decided for convenience sake to try out this store. I walked in and the lovely young lady behind the counter could barely lift her head up from her cell phone to greet me...with an empty store might I add. I proceeded to explain to her what I was looking for when she so graciously put her phone down and proceeded to walk me over to show me what she had. She had no idea what I had told her I was looking for, almost like I was speaking a foreign language to her. Instead of asking one of the other employees to help her find what I was looking for and instead of her admitting she had no idea what I was saying, she just told me they don't have it. I then asked if they had something else that might work and without hesitation she said "no we don't have that". I can understand that due to her young age she has no idea what customer service really means but I think the company should do a better job training someone who looks like they are still in high school if thats the person they feel best represents their company. Apple is built on customer service and if this is what they have out there representing their brand - it's a sad sad day. Prior to this, I had never been into this store and this will probably be the last. Save yourself some time and go see a genius at the REAL Apple store! read more
