After spending an hour and a half going through the wickets... I was sold these three items and the annual membership as well as for Geek Squad to install and set up a better mesh network as told and sold by the online. He was trying to sell more but I wanted to make sure everything was going to be in good working order. He said you will get a call in two days or less for them to schedule a time and complete the install. Three days went by and I called... since you can't call any of the stores directly. When I called I was told that the Eeros have been back ordered and they did not know how long it would take to get them. I then asked how long have they been backord. I was this has been known for at least two months. I told them what the online sales did. No apology, no nothing I then cancelled everything. Two days later I discovered they had not cancelled the membership. I called again and finally got it cancelled. This is after wasting over five hours in total of my time due to incompetence of the online staff. There is no question I am done with Best Buy. This place has really gone downhill fast. So much for trusting anything that they have to say.

I was shopping for two unusual items and their assistance resulted in my purchasing. This store has figured out that if a customer walks in the door, they likely are looking for something to purchase. They also look at what the customer is doing. If wandering around, as I was, they probably need assistance. I'm impressed with how this Office Depot store has adjusted their internal operations to compete with online shopping. Customer service and immediate availability is the competitive advantage for physical stores.

When I picked up the orders the line was not really long however, there were enough customers there that called for another employee to help but the female was working by herself. I probably stood in line for 10 minutes waiting and I expected the employee to be friendly but I provided her with my last name she handed the copies over and there was no communication between the two of us. I paid $1.30 online for the two copies (thicker paper was used) so I did not have to pay when I went in there. I don't get copies made enough nor have I had anything specialized to know how they would do professionally.

    I purchased a TV from Walmart. On Walmart website, there is an option to select…read moremounting/installation service for $79, which is paid at the time of purchase. So, I purchased the service and was sent confirmation that a Hello Tech would make contact with me to schedule the install. On September 24, 2024, I received the email requesting that I select the date and time to install. I selected the evening of September 24, 2024, from 6pm to 8pm. Approximately two hours later the appointment was cancelled with no explanation. Because Walmart site indicates no refund on mounting services, I made contact with Hello Tech via phone. I was advised that my location was outside of their service area. They didn't even mention refunding my money. When I asked about the money I had already paid, I was advised that it would take 4 to 6 weeks before a check could be sent out to me, or 7 to 14 days by PayPal. I requested the PayPal method of reimbursement. As of date, I have not received my money. Why would you accept a job, take the money, then say you do not service the area. I ended up paying another company to mount my television, while I continue to wait on my refund. This service (or lack of service) is terrible; I would not recommend Hello Tech to anyone.

The router is bad but to get to that point Julians methodical mindset went through multiple steps before coming to that conclusion. I'm pretty patient but his demeanor was exemplary and shows he really like what he does and cares about people. I would recommend him for future assignments and to my friends as well.

    Called to purchase faster RAM for my computer. The company had cards in stock, but charged a…read morepremium for them, blaming an internet search for the pricing. Once I received the parts and had a part number to use for a direct search, I found the same items at MUCH lower prices at several places. To put a context, they charged me over $130 for two cards that I found elsewhere at $27 each. When I called the company back to share my frustration, the sales person told me it was my responsibility to research better before buying. I won't go back.

I called asking for a price quote on building a gaming PC for my little brother, expecting somewhere around 50-75 dollars max because it's less than a hour of labor. The store said it would be $200 dollars and "that's the price" when I asked for an explanation or how many hours it would take for labor, He rudely hung up on me and refused my second call. In my opinion there time isn't ever gonna be worth $200 for a single hour, and are most likely scamming people that can find answers for free on the internet. Just my two cents for hanging up on me- a tech savvy customer who was just trying to save some time. Learn to be kind and respectful, you never know who's on the other line.
