Lucy is my go-to, and she's amazing, but honestly, everyone there does a great job. You really can't go wrong with anyone. The salon is spacious, clean, and very nice, with so many colors to choose from. It's also conveniently located, which is a plus. And I have to mention the owner, John -- he knows his customers and even calls you by name, which makes you feel welcomed and appreciated. This place has upgraded so much since I've been coming ever since I was a freshman in high school. The pedicure spot has a real nice area and a lot of workers there to help you get whatever you need. Make sure you put in an appointment because sometimes they can't see you til later since they get packed so quickly! They also provide alcohol with your service which is pretty cool too! Never going back! I went in for a French gel manicure and clearly stated that when I arrived. When Kay began the French tips, I noticed they looked very sloppy. I politely asked if someone else could do them instead and even apologized, but Kay was extremely rude in response. I switched to another technician who initially did a better job, but then, out of nowhere, she deliberately made the manicure look sloppy as well. At that point, I decided to skip the French tips entirely and just keep the base. Overall, it was the worst experience I've had at a salon. read more

One of my new go to places to get my eye browns, and pedis down. Its next to CVS and Popeyes. The place has been updated, and they have plexi glass shields for your services. The male receptionist. I think he might be the owner, is very friendly. The prices are reasonable. Though I have only been here to get pedis and brows done, since the pandemic I havent gotten my nails done, since I barely see anyone or go out. However, their pedis are decent. They charge $30, for the basics, no fancy massages or scrubs, or even dipping your feet in parrafin. However Im happy. My toes are always looking nice. The nail techs are nice and friendly. They are not chatting or gossip among each other. Which is a big plus in my book. That is usually one of my peeves at a salon because I feel like they talking about us. Brows: They do a good job. The room is clean and sanitary. When you are leaving they have cute masks. These masks wont slip down. They stay on your ears, and stay on your nose. I think they are $7 for adult size masks. Booking and confirming my appointment was very easy online. I requested a dip powder manicure, which was fine, except I kept telling Jenny (the manicurist) to cut down my nails. She swore she was going to do it. She did a good job on all, except for one. So when I asked her to cut the one down more, she filed it and said it was low enough... but it wasn't. Fine, moving on. Harry, who did my pedicure, had the biggest attitude the whole time he was doing my pedicure. At my last pedicure, which was at a different place, they didn't cut the sides of my nails enough, causing ingrown nails. Harry was able to get it all out, which I was grateful for, and I was ready to give him an extra tip for the hard work. It hurt but felt good afterward. I wanted regular polish for my toes and asked for a design on the big toes. Then he told me that they only do design with gel polish, stating it doesn't last long. I've been getting pedicures for 25 years, and I have NEVER had an issue getting a design with regular polish. My fingernails don't hold polish, so that's why I pay extra for the dip, but I never had an issue with my toes. So I get put at the drying station, and they are about to check me out. When I ask about the design and the front desk clerk told me they don't do design on regular nail polish. So here I am arguing again. So they had me wait another 20 minutes to "dry." No one ever came, and I had already been there for over 2 hours, so I just paid and left no tip for anyone. If they really wanted to wait to do the design, they should have done my pedicure first, then nails, then the design. I was very specific in the service I booked online, AND repeated it when I arrived. I had come here long ago because I lived nearby and never had an issue. I passed by it the other day and decided to go again and am sad to say it was the worst mistake. Never coming here again, never recommending this place. I'm going to another nail salon to get my design. I might update this review depending on how long my dip powder lasts, but save yourself time and money and go anywhere else! read more

I normally don't leave reviews but felt it was necessary this time. I usually have a fantastic time here and everyone usually does a pretty good job. However the last few times I've gone, I've been very disappointed. I went a few days ago and I'm just so unhappy with my manicure and eyebrow wax. The woman who did my mani was very nice but she tore my cuticles apart! They look gross and I even have a lovely cut on my middle finger. Then for the eyebrow wax. Idk why this woman thought she needed to be so dang rough but I've never had an eyebrow wax like this. I even have all these red bumps all over my eyebrows bc she pulled so hard! John is amazing and patient and can always find a way to fit you in as a walk in, and if not he will let you know what time you can come back to get your service done. He told us as we were checking out that the cost of a plain pedicure without any polish or massage or foot rub (basically a simple cutting and cleaning) is the exacta same cost as a full pedicure. Waste of money and would not recommend. Please spend it somewhere else. My nails look so bubbly and thick. Dip powder is lifted up on one side and my pedicure which is the most simple of things to do but even that came out bad. The polish is on my skin and in my cuticles. I swear... it's always hit or miss with this place. I came in to get gel nails on my real nails and they turned out great! I came back a few weeks later and my nails got damaged! My nail lady moved to this salon years ago (Tina). Not that far from me, but definitely have a good 5 salons way closer to me. But when it comes to nails, I don't trust a lot of people doing them! I love Tina! She's been doing my nails for years. However, the last two times I went Karen (the owner) has done my nails because I wanted a specific design (ombré). And Karen does it EVERY TIME! Unfortunately I do not have the other pink ombré she did on my nails. But this is the most recent one from last week. I show her a picture & she will literally do the exact same thing. The lady that worked with me seemed rude and was really harsh on my nails. I Got two small nail infections from the cuts she gave me on all my Cuticles. She was upset I wanted just regular polish instead of gel and made me pay before even though no one else did. My nails are bumpy but I still gave a $5 tip because I didn't want to be rude. After going to this salon for almost 8 years I have decided to change nail salons. I went to Simply's after being referred by a friend and loved Hanna - she did a great job so I went to her faithfully. But every time I went to the salon it was filled with some kind of drama and I ignored it for a long time. Karen, the owner and woman at the front, is LOUD and talks bad about people all day long. She takes free reign in saying whatever she feels and gives terrible customer service. She even told me I was getting fat once, NOT okay no matter what our relationship is or how long I've been coming. Because of a great nail tech (Hana) I dealt with the annoyance every time but recently decided it wasn't worth it. I mean...you go to the salon to relax right? I have a feeling that this salon will not be open much longer. Avoid this salon if being treated well means something to you, as for myself - RESPECT is essential in this industry and I am taking myself and my 8 years of referrals elsewhere.
