There is a train room, a camping/animal room, a baby room, a dress up/kitchen play room, and the large play structure room that is connected to the eating area. There is also an outside area equipped with a water table and a small play house. There are smocks near the water table and loaner shoes so you don't get your feet wet. Food is only allowed in the eating area and there is also food for purchase here. They have an ice cream chest near the outside entrance so you can purchase icecream but you still need to eat in the designated area. The bathroom is nice and clean and equipped with diapers and wet wipes. The Montessori space is so cute and we can spend hours here. You are required to wear socks here and they recommend ones with the grips on the bottom for kids but they have loaner socks in case you forget. I highly recommend for toddlers but probably not for anyone older than three

My biggest reason for giving 3 stars is safety. They have multiple tall shelves, pretend refrigerators, and other things along the wall and none of them are made anchored. My toddler tried to take a costume off the rack and the whole thing started to fall on him! That prompted me to check other things and nothing is mounted making me concerned for other littles. Also since we first came here more and more little things are getting broken and not replaced. I get that kids can be rough on stuff but with that admission price, I would expect to not find so many broken things.

They also have adorable T shirts and toys for sale that you can't find easily such as a brio-style MAX train large selection of snacks for purchase but outside food is allowed. Although we came on a Sunday, it was fairly quiet with only two other families here. The sand leaves a small amount of dust on skin but doesn't stick to you or your clothes like other types the facility smelled very clean. Staff is friendly. Plenty of parking and there is a footbridge from the parking lot to the front door which makes it extra exciting!

I highly recommend this place for young families. This place is popular and for good reason. They have three big sand pits for kids to dig in for hours. Check their web to see if there is a waitlist. If they're full, put your name on the waitlist and time when to head over. However, the person at the front desk said the wait is usually shorter. The workers are friendly and helpful. There are cubbies to put your items. They also provide protective eyewear if your kid doesn't want sand in their eyes. Otherwise, just bring yourselves! They provide all the tools to have fun in the sand. Everyone must be barefoot. There is a small area in the very front near the entrance for babies to play. There is also a small snack and drink area. You can eat your packed lunch at the tables or feel free to buy some snacks and drinks from a self serve kiosk. They also sell some merchandise and toys. There are two family friendly bathrooms, but one is larger so if you have a stroller and/or a big family, you all can fit in that one. This large bathroom has a small toddler toilet, which is awesome when you're potty training a little one. In the cabinet there are some diapers. The workers periodically sweep the sand back in the pits. They keep the place clean and safe. It's a great place! Their Easter egg hunt was so much fun too. Probably the most fun and safe egg hunt I've ever been to because they limited the number of people attending each session. Everyone found tons of eggs everywhere, and three people found the three golden eggs for a prize! They brought out the Easter Bunny (looks like Peter Rabbit) and gave away a goodie bag before leaving. Worth it for $30. We'll be back next year for this event.

The attendant was friendly and helpful. We had a tough time to get the four year old to be done. She spoke to him kindly and told him he could choose a sticker to be a good listener and he did. The one year old loved exploring and became braver as she got used to the place. Our four year old made friends and had a great time. We appreciated the space size and all the ways they made it safe.

There's also a middle section where you have cannons you can load with balls and shoot with air pressure. It was so much fun. Will be one of our go-tos for getting the wiggles out especially since it's local.

Four months after I purchased my condo at Tanglewood and put one year of my HOA dues into my…read moreaccount, Mountain Park turned me over to their attorney for collections over $276 club membership that I didn't know was required and was missed by the real estate professionals during our transaction. when I connected to Mountain Park, they told me I had to pay their lawyer/collections agency. The $276 bill had a ledger filled with false charges and just months later was $3635 Their attorney told me if I didn't pay they would increase it by hundreds of dollars every day and they would foreclose on my home which they were already legally entitled to do. Mountain Park HOA is overseen by the same attorney at Tanglewood. This law firm routinely has a business model of going after the homeowners they represent and foreclosing on their homes. In my case, a $276 bill was falsely escalated to nearly $3700 which does not include the court fees and other expenses I incurred in trying to figure this out. Although mountain Park knew it was an innocent mistake, they refused to allow me to pay them and work with me directly. They knew just how much the attorney was charging me, and had no compunction in moving forward with a lawsuit to take my home. Further, they have done this two dozens of people in the last 10 years. It is my sentiment that the mountain park HOA should be disbanded/dissolved by the owners, and the land and clubhouse donated to the city for tax break for the residents here. The attorney over this HOA would not want this to happen because these HOA's are their stocked pond. They specifically target people who own their homes, and have no way to fight them--low income. My housing experience here has been utterly cruel and in no way does it reflect fair housing. HOAs don't have a great deal of regulation in Oregon and so they get away with things like this. Also, my neighbors, aren't aware of what they did to me--so now you know. At a minimum, an exclusive club would send you an orientation, or maybe even leave a nice welcome basket at your front door, they would be polite when you called them, and they would work with you. Instead, they showed me the utmost cruelty and put me in a dire financial situation--as intended. Let's contact the city manager and ask them to help us donate the land. (503) 635-0215

It's a cool spot to hang out and enjoy the day with open space and not too far from food places if you get hungry. Goodwill is right across the street and there's also a Korean War Memorial at this park. Hopefully the water works again on these hot days ahead.

There are way too many little parks to name and recommend, but this is one of the popular areas to hit up because a lot of events are held in this area. From Farmer's Market (Thursdays) in the summertime to Halloween parade and trick-or-treating in October, this is a gathering point with space to have picnics, BBQs, and birthdays. The pool is within walking distance as well. The little play area has an excellent structure suitable for toddlers to elementary kids. I'm not a fan of mulch/wood chip for ground cover at the park, but it seems to be okay, not giving my little one any splinters. The highlight for my toddler is the little water play area. There is a pole in the shrub area that says, "press here...", which activates the three water fountains. It has a pretty strong pressure; it is sure to bring delight to the little ones. I recommend wearing water shoes here. Lots of benches and picnic spots with plenty of lawn space under some tall trees. It looks like there used to be a creek but it's dried up, and now it provides some nature play like at Memorial. Safe and lots of street parking.
