This is a cute little play place for toddlers. They also have one room for babies to crawl around in. They currently have five rooms. There is a train room, a camping/animal room, a baby room, a dress up/kitchen play room, and the large play structure room that is connected to the eating area. There is also an outside area equipped with a water table and a small play house. There are smocks near the water table and loaner shoes so you don't get your feet wet. Food is only allowed in the eating area and there is also food for purchase here. They have an ice cream chest near the outside entrance so you can purchase icecream but you still need to eat in the designated area. The bathroom is nice and clean and equipped with diapers and wet wipes. The Montessori space is so cute and we can spend hours here. You are required to wear socks here and they recommend ones with the grips on the bottom for kids but they have loaner socks in case you forget. I highly recommend for toddlers but probably not for anyone older than three read more

My kids (2.5 and 5) love the space and have lots of fun in all the rooms. We have been there several times and only once did my older child say he got bored at the end. My biggest reason for giving 3 stars is safety. They have multiple tall shelves, pretend refrigerators, and other things along the wall and none of them are made anchored. My toddler tried to take a costume off the rack and the whole thing started to fall on him! That prompted me to check other things and nothing is mounted making me concerned for other littles. Also since we first came here more and more little things are getting broken and not replaced. I get that kids can be rough on stuff but with that admission price, I would expect to not find so many broken things. read more

What a cute little play place, feels like a hidden gem out in Tigard. We drove about 25 mins away to go and it was worth it. Our boys (2 &5) loved it and had the best time! The staff were so friendly, upon check in and through out the visit. They even let my boys borrow socks when theirs got wet, and even offered to dry them off. The place is so clean and well maintained, which is a big deal for us. I have to say my favorite space was the outdoor area. It was so relaxing and just nice to have that outdoor option. The boys kept going from room to room and enjoyed every single toy and objects it offered. We will definitely be back and have already told some friends about it. read more

Wow, LEKA is fantastic! There are six play rooms / areas, including one reserved for babies when it gets crowded, and an open seating area stocked with drinks and snacks for purchase. The toys are open-ended and high quality - a Montessori lover's dream come true. My 4yo split her time between the main area with the play structure and the kitchen/costume room, and my 1yo wandered around looking for animals. There's also a sensory bin area, a room with a train table and other vehicles, and a room with books and a tent in which to enjoy them. The main play area has the aforementioned play structure, as well as a Nugget, beautiful Gathre arches, and pillows for making a cozy fort. A few other details: - Parking is easy, right in front of the building. - If you visit between 3 and 5 on a weekday, you get a "happy hour" pass where you can return for free in that same time window on another weekday. - There's a $2 sibling discount. - You can buy a frequent visitor pass to save a little per visit. - If you have any questions, text them! Holy moly, this place uses such high quality amazing toys it gives me severe envy! I mean wow! I brought my 4 year old son over to leka's the Wednesday before thanksgiving at 3:30, it wasn't busy at the time and was so lovely we were able to try every room. My son had a great time playing in the Zoom room! Everything is spacious and there are specific rooms with themes. I love this because it doesn't mix up all the toys and has a cohesive theme. There's also a specific room for babies so I'm definitely bringing my baby to try this place out. Everything is super clean and super modern. Very simplistic but perfect in that way. There's a heavy Montessori feel to this which is heavenly (both my kids go to Montessori). Ample parking, and also, Bettie the owner is SO sweet, very friendly, lovely soul! Beautiful play space with something for everyone! My first impression was that it looks like an Ikea for kids. Everything is clean, coordinating and modern. I really liked that rooms were divided up by interest: cars, nature, big movement toys, etc. There were staff members picking up and putting toys away throughout our stay so it never felt cluttered or too busy. We went in the late morning and there were probably about 6 other families there. We felt it was the perfect time to go, not too busy but still plenty of little friends to interact with. I am probably alone here but I do like that play is age restricted to five and under. While inconvenient to some families with older kids, I think it's important to recognize that toddlers/preschoolers can be intimidated my older kids and it may prevent them from playing on certain "group" toys like the play structure or train table. My almost two year old interacts much better with smaller kids his own age. He's also been mowed over a few times by older kids who were busy playing and didn't see him so there is a safety aspect as well. The only thing I would change about my experience is that I wish they were more strict about not allowing sick kids to play. I understand that it's difficult and probably really uncomfortable asking someone to leave but there was a little girl with a really nasty phlegm-producing cough playing while we were there and she was too little to understand the concept of covering her mouth. Overall though, we had a great time and will definitely return in the future. read more

Took the risk going on a holiday and wow what a busy morning. They have a great system to get on their waitlist. Was there for an hour and Did not see anyone sanitizing but staff made their rounds to pick up toys off the floors. I was bummed I didn't see the train around. The entrance is not stroller friendly. And when it's so busy you really can't store your stroller in the lobby which I saw another mom struggling with her stroller. I haven't actually been able to go, for two reasons. 1) they don't allow anyone over 5. I have a 2 year old and a 7 year old, so that limits us being able to go as I very, very rarely only have the 2 yo. 2) Tonight I had a rare opportunity while the 7yo was at a birthday party. Planned to meet a friend and her toddler here. We both had checked the website and saw "14 families playing" and then "9 families playing" right before we left. Nowhere does it say what the capacity is, so we had no idea if this is 9/100? 9/15? We showed up 20 min later and were told there were 7 groups waiting ahead of us. There is room for one group in the lobby. The rest are waiting outside in the rain with toddlers which seems like a really poor system. I only had 90 min available so decided to go elsewhere, which I'm glad I did because we didn't get off the waitlist for almost an hour. The place looks lovely, but they really need a better system for admittance, and an option for older kids to be included. read more

I can't return because I have an 8 year old that would be sad to miss out. He was able to play at a birthday party here and he did just fine with his younger friends and siblings. My kids really like coming here, everything is well designed and they do a fairly good job at keeping things clean. However, I wish 2 things were different. 1) They should make this space peanut/tree nut free. I have a kid with a peanut allergy, and I've seen other parents give their kids peanut snacks. One time there was peanut butter on the floor that had fallen off a kid's sandwich. I had to monitor my kid to make sure she wasn't around that area. 2) I get they have a capacity limit so they implemented a waitlist system. I wish it was more efficient. Everyone sort of waits in the front room and it gets really crowded. They have an option to get on the waitlist via phone before you arrive, and I did that today. My kids and I waited about 30 minutes today and when I asked the lady working at the front what number in line we were...she said we were actually ready 10 minutes ago. I didn't check my phone to see that, but since she was just a few feet away I figured she would tell me it was our turn. So we lost 10 minutes there. I wish they had more of a space to dedicate for those who need to wait as it can get pretty crowded, but I realize that might not be feasible. I was a bit annoyed the lady didn't call my name to let us know our time had come. Overall, I recommend this place, but check to see if there's a wait in advance. Some people who are new aren't aware of this, and make quite a drive only to be told their wait time is an hour or more. read more

I've taken my 2 1/2 year old daughter here three times so far and it has been excellent. It's so nice to have a place to take her to play, get out of the house, and get her sillies out. She's always so tired when we leave. It's clean, bright, and inviting. The way the rooms are set up stimulates her creativity and keeps her attention for a long time. They also have really nice snacks and drinks available for kids and parents. Also, as a healthcare worker it gives me peace of mind that they require vaccine cards. I know not everyone agrees about that, but it's a huge 'plus' for me. We will definitely be regular visitors here. First visit today and loved every single thing about it! Amazing staff that really engaged with all the kids there, continuously cleaned and sanitized. Mask required, vaccine for adults required , it just felt really clean and safe. Also the space was gorgeous and my son really used his imagination more than I have ever seen. We stayed 3 hours and he was not ready to leave but they were closing. We're from out of town but will try and visit again before we leave the area. Highly recommend. So much more engaging than the standard jungle gym indoor playgrounds. He loved it and so did I! My kids loves this place and so does my husband and I!! Place is beautiful with unique toys that encourages the kids creativity. My daughter is 5y and spent majority of her time in the play pretend room, setting up for a tea party while exploring the dress up area. My son 3.5y wouldn't leave the zoom room unless I encouraged him to go and explore. He absolutely loved it. It was my husband's first time visiting a place like this and he was astonished on how relaxing it was. He could enjoy his coffee while kids were fully entertained. The different rooms separate the kids play and allows the kids to focus on what is in front of them. Even though it was 10 kids playing in there it didn't feel busy at all. Everyone had their space and we felt so safe. Also helps that the owner and staff continously walks around to sanitize areas and toys. No shoes allowed, so socks required as well as face masks. We had an amazing experience at Leka for my son's 2nd birthday! We love the toys that encourage open-ended play and imagination. LEKA inspires children to PLAY instead of being "distracted" (like with electronics or flashy items). The facility is clean and tidy, staff is professional, courteous, friendly and extremely helpful, and the amenities are STACKED. The rooms are themed - my 1.5 yo enjoyed the infant room and the train room, while my 4 yo enjoyed... basically everything, but especially all the running around and climbing on the play structure. There is also a chillaxing room with books and comfy seating, and an imaginative play room with pretend-play items and stocked dress-up costumes. THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! From the moment you walk in the door the ambiance is cozy inviting and very calming. We took our 16 month old here on Halloween and they had the cutest Halloween party set up with decorations treats refreshments goodie bags crafts and a light up balloon Jack o lantern that my son took to bed with him because he loved it so much. The staff was so sweet and accommodating and the whole place is carefully curated with thoughtfulness and acute attention to detail in every corner. There are multiple fun rooms to explore and toys to play with and not a single plastic toy or battery operating loud nonsense which makes my Waldorf heart radiate! Just a whole lot of space and material for open ended play with no overstimulation! I am so glad to have found this outlet for recreational play! I've been here a few times since the opening of LEKA with my two boys, ages 4 and 5. We love LEKA! The murals are beautiful and Instagram worthy. Every room has a different theme and there is even a room for infants. They even sell some of the toys so you can bring them home! The owners are so kind and you can tell they put a lot of thought into every little detail of LEKA. Ms. Lindsey is one of the employees and she is so kind and very good with children. She even does a story time sometimes. I highly recommend coming here if you have small children. This is going to be somewhere we go a lot, especially for the rainy months. LEKA is very clean and regularly sanitized. I feel very safe bringing my kids here and watching them use so much of their imaginations! read more
