Shame! I don't even want to get in to the ridiculousness of the issues we had trying to do business with this woman and as a fellow business woman I support women business owners. I've debated for a while about leaving this review. However, I don't want someone else to go through the same issues and treatment we had. I chose her business because she had good reviews on next-door and was presented as a commercially professional bonded business and why I wanted to hire her in the first place. Sadly, when it comes down to professionalism, dealing with a complaint as a business owner and dealing directly with a complaint, this woman lost it! We hired her to do a moderately deep cleaning for $170 with three people coming in our home for 8 hours for a thanksgiving cleaning. I expected my house to be really clean and throughly done per our agreement. She came before to look at my home and gave me the quote. I hired her. We were not here when they cleaned, and when I initially got home the house looked nice, but I didn't do an inspection. However, on deeper review it wasn't even a general cleaning, after seeing many basic things not done at all, my boyfriend really looked at the work that was not done that should've been done and he decided to call and talk to her. Whew! when he called her, for resolution, her reaction was beyond unprofessional! she tried to shame us as homeowners and deflect, Said she should've never taken the job because basically our house was too disgusting, she did not address the issues of what was agreed to be cleaned and what was not done! She then argued to playing a Martyr, saying I'm a good Christian and I will write it off as charity because she's a good Christian and does free work for cancer patients! Then continued with I should've never taken the job because your home was too dirty, ummm that is what you do for a living! So, on and on she argued! She never addressed how to resolve the problem, Or take responsibility that they did not do what she was contracted for. She never addressed what was wrong when he tried to discuss this with her. She kept arguing that this was not a deep cleaning. However this wasn't even a basic cleaning. Bottom line we had to go back and clean after we hired a so said professional company to clean our home. basic things were not done, counters were not wiped down. Small appliances were not picked up and wiped down underneath them, windows and door frames were not even addressed, there were still rings in the toilet, the shower doors and walls were not addressed, baseboards not touched or the ceiling fans or furniture polished per our agreement and after the way she behaved I did not want her team coming back to my home for correction-for what should've been done in the first place. The solution we suggested was cutting the price back by $30 which is her so said basic cleaning rate as we don't want her employees to kit get paid and don't want anything for free. Cleaning is your business and when you advertise Pristine Cleaning that's your business you put your name and stamp on it and you should take pride in it and if it's not right you should fix it. In her estimate it was included, cleaning and wiping down all of the surfaces the baseboards and frames, the windows, shades, fans etc, everything in the bathrooms, frames, and after further inspection most of that was not done it wasn't even a basic cleaning I hope this does not happen to other people and my advice to her is learn to be a professional, take care of your business. You chose a cleaning company, thats your business and that's what you were hired for. Then the topper is shame on you and how you decided to treat us and made a big deal about oh I work with some of the richest people in Lafayette and started name dropping clients and what good work you do.
