However, when you factor in the approximately 10 minutes at the beginning for undressing and preparation, and another 15 minutes at the end for getting dressed, the actual hands-on massage time appears to have been closer to 35 minutes, not 60. Additionally, when my husband was asked which areas needed the most attention, he specifically requested focus on his neck and shoulders. Unfortunately, he felt that the therapist spent the majority of the session working on other areas instead of addressing the areas he identified as problematic. Advertising a special for a 60-minute massage when the actual massage time is significantly shorter feels misleading and makes the promotion much less of a value than it appears. Based on this experience, my husband has no interest in returning, as he was very disappointed with the service and felt it did not meet his expectations.

In the song he said: "How old would you say you were, if you didn't know the day you were born?" This is my new mantra: I am not letting the old man in! I am in my mid 60s. People say I look much younger than I actually am. I work out regularly, and run semi regularly. I also do other things. Years ago a friends father got let go from a high level position during a downsizing of his company. He was in his mid 60s. . He applied for many jobs and was turned down. He had grey hair. He dyed it. The first interview after he dyed his hair he was hired. Coincidence? Maybe. I get a very slight hair color to cover a little of my grey. Literally washed in at the shampoo bowl, it stays in for literally 3-4 minutes tops and is washed out. The change is subtle but makes a difference. At times, my wife complains when I touch her that my nails and skin around them are too rough, and asks me to stop. So, I get manicures, no polish, lol. I also get a Russian manicure where the nail tech uses a little dremel tool to smooth the skin around my nails- no more complaints. So, I add in a pedicure-why not. Your feet will thank you- and it feels amazing. While I am there, or sometimes another appointment, I get my eye brows waxed, plucked and trimmed. No more gnarly or stray thick black hairs, or the hairs growing between my brows or into my eye lids or forehead. Gone. While she is at it, she waxes my ears. The outside where the fine and stray hairs grow and the inside where they grow too long, but we don't notice them, because who looks at the side of their head that close. Not us, but everyone else sees it that is standing or sitting next to you. Oh and remember, as we get older our vision gets worse. So those younger than us will notice more than we do. Also waxing the nose hairs. It is so much more comfortable than trimming them. No stabbing hairs inside your nose when you sleep at night or thinking you have a "bat in the cave" when it's just your hairs irritating your nose. Breathing through your nose becomes a dream. When we go on vacation and my shirt will be off at the pool or beach, I have them wax my back. I don't have a lot of hair back there. The ones I do have are long and noticeable. But who looks at your back hair. We don't, we can barely see back there. But everyone behind us does see them. Then there is the facial. The facial and neck massage, cleaning of the pores, chemical treatments, along with the other special electronic treatments they provide make a difference. I also get my hair cut there. Which is always fantastic. We can have the best and youthful attitude in the world. We can have the feeling of youth on our side and in our inside. Sometimes a little extra help from the professionals helps us keep the old man out or prevents others from seeing the old man within us. Either way, the talented professionals at this salon can deliver on both. Often our youthful attitude takes us places. These professionals take you to the next level place.

I received a gift of perfume from my young teen daughter. She purchased the perfume at this store, and even received a little makeup bag as a free gift with her purchase. Unfortunately, my daughter purchased the wrong version of the perfume that I wear so I was looking to do a simple exchange for the same exact perfume and price just a different version of the perfume. They would not do an exchange without the account that it was purchased from. Being a young teen, my daughter does not have an account here and unknowingly threw the receipt away. When they went to look up my phone number or her number, unsurprisingly nothing came up. A manager took a look, also told me that they can't do an exchange, then spoke to another manager, who then graciously offered to give me the $50 item with a value of $30 where I would have to pay a $20 difference. Excuse me? I even brought them free the little gift bag that they were giving away with purchases before Christmas. I could've shared the location of my daughter when she purchased it, but they would only accept a receipt or an account from a young teenager. Mind you this isn't even exchange, it's not anything complicated. Thank you Ulta for encouraging me to shop somewhere else!
