Shaun was so incredibly thorough, honest (there were points where he told me that because of my super low energy costs in Azusa, the system really wasn't necessary) and over-communicated throughout the process. I've recommended him to family in the area. Big fan. I ended up moving to it honestly because I wanted the future equity addition to the home and...because I thought it was badass to have solar :) We had issues with my HOA and the city of Azusa (confusion on their ends) and his team handled the months of back and forth with ease and grace. OMG thank you Van Lund Roofing!!! On Friday November 14th…read morelate afternoon the rain was pouring all of a sudden we saw water dripping from my daughter's bedroom ceiling. Our house isn't that old so I was totally shocked... until I remembered we had solar panels installed few years ago. Pretty sure the installers must've cracked a few tiles walking around up there. I snapped some pictures of the leak, sent out quote requests on Yelp, and James from Van Lund replied almost instantly -- said he could be here 7 a.m. Saturday. Most other places couldn't come until Monday and more rain was coming all weekend, so that wasn't happening. James showed up right on time, found four cracked tiles letting water in, tarped everything perfectly on the spot. It poured cats and dogs Sat-Mon and we didn't get another drop inside. As soon as the rain stopped Tuesday morning, the crew was back. Replaced the broken tiles, sealed everything up, and they were done in 4-5 hours. Roof looks great and they cleaned up like they were never here. Super professional, honest, crazy-fast response, fair price, and they saved us from major water damage.
