There roofers installed panels incorrectly wrong design came to switch it left holes in the roof causing water damage Inside our house.

No Stars! We signed a contract with titanium solar over 14 months ago. Our solar panels were installed in March 2023 they do not work. They installed the solar panels before they even did the electrical work and we found out that we had to get a verification from LA DWP to get the electrical work done nobody from titanium Solar has ever contacted us with any kind of customer service or direct contact to follow up with us. It's been over a year the panels don't work the roofing company that they sent out, ruined our roof When the rain came in Los Angeles we had water inside of our home ruined interior of our hardwood floors no one has contacted us back and we are now filing a legal lawsuit against the roofing company as well as titanium solar. Horrible company with horrible morals.

    Second leak

After the second roof leak we now had our solar Panels sitting stacked on our patio for 3 months not able to use as the installer where called off the job mid reinstall . I have stage 4 lung cancer and now have a solar bill and electoral bill to include with my medical bills. Can't get a call back from anyone or a date of when someone will be back .

It's been almost two years since I used this company, and it's been a nightmare! They damaged my roof and still haven't fixed it. They came out and placed plastic tarp coverings over a significant portion of the panels, so this reduced the panels performance. I have tried repeatedly to reach out to the company, with limited to no responses. They have been giving me the runaround, and the meantime, my roof is still leaking! Buyer beware of this company!

This is one of many leaks where the solar racks were installed.

STAY AWAY !! from Titanium and its parent company AMP SMART. Where should I begin, solar installed Nov 2022, one month later, December, we had record rain. It was leaking in multiple locations. I took pictures and contacted Titanium, they sent out (3) roofers, but did not like their recommendations. During one storm they sent a crew member , who then stapled a tarp onto my roof compounding the problem by punching hundreds of small holes through my shingles. They damaged a large section of my roof and voiding my shingle manufacture warranty. The install workmanship deserves no stars. I have a thread with over 50 emails, attempting resolution.. It is now mid June 2023 and still have not received any repair. I finally filed a complaint to the Ca State License Board and submitted an assessment report from a state license roofer, his recommendations were to re-roof the affected areas (subject to locating same roof material) and use solar mounts that can be flashed professionally for rain guard. Save yourselves a headache ... I do not recommend Titanium and its parent company AMP SMART.

The initial "bad" install. Obnoxious and aesthetically disgusting.

I should have updated this when I discovered it. Buyer beware: After seeing that I was not producing any outgoing electrical supply (ie: receiving a credit from SCE for surplus) I started asking why. Turns out Titanium Solar only installed two of the three panels/meters needed. One for incoming and self-use electricity but not the third for my outgoing surplus. I called Titanium and their reply? It would cost me $500 to have that installed. I cannot express enough how bad this entire experience has been.

They sent their electrician over. Took over 6 hours. Left my home looking like this. Claiming to be done

Because of that experience, we were very cautious when we decided to add more panels and reached out to several different companies. From the very beginning, HPM Solar stood out. They were easy to work with, communicated clearly, and consistently kept me informed about every step of the process. There were no surprises and no guessing about what was happening next. We were also extremely fortunate that an earlier installation slot opened up, allowing HPM to fit us in just in time to take advantage of the expiring tax credit -- something we truly appreciated. The installation crew was excellent: professional, efficient, and respectful of our property. They did great work and made sure everything was cleaned up before they left, which really showed their attention to detail and pride in their work. Overall, the entire solar process with HPM Solar was very smooth and stress-free, a complete contrast to our previous experience. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering solar.

They were professional, clean, cordial, and the end result was exceptional. I am very pleased with the work performed and everyone that was involved. I hope highly recommend them especially since it's so hard to find a company that will still be around in years to come. My worry was that the installation may contribute to future leaks due to rain. I observed the installation process asking questions and am satisfied that I won't have any issues.

Natasha was professional and very clear with communication from the start. She set proper expectations on communication with Tesla would take a week or two. The day she received the go ahead from Tesla she called and scheduled the install asap 4 days out. Later the same day they had a cancellation and were able to get everything scheduled the next day. Anthony and Jeremiah arrived at the beginning of the arrival window! They were professional, great with communication, and ready to work. I had several questions and they were prepared for all of them and super helpful. The battery removal and install took less than an hour. Naturally Tesla's update took twice as long. LOL. Still total time was under 3 hours. I have managed 100s of installers and worked in Solar, this was a fantastic expierence! Because the Tesla 3 has more storage than the 2 I asked about adding some of my Breakers to the back-up and they had options for us to do that. Obviously we Highly Recommend This Team!

The installers were awesome and got me going quickly. So regarding the communication issues I had with the company, things happen, people get busy and sometimes delays do occur. I'm just glad we were able to get everything resolved. Pricing, I did get a couple of additional quotes and Option One blew them out of the water. Could it be those other companies assumed I needed the parts and labor? Maybe, but I was very clear that I had the parts already. Bottom line it never hurts getting quotes and going from there. Service, so I got all the paperwork done yesterday early afternoon and was scheduled today (5/1) at 8am. I do realize there needs to be a buffer between appointment time and actual arrival time, I usually just assume an hour after the appointment time. But the techs were here at almost exactly 8am. As I have very limited knowledge on solar panels, the fact none of them fell off my roof (panels or techs) and nothing blew up, then it's safe to say they did a fantastic job. In the end my system is fixed and I'm happy. Also if I ever need work done on my system again I'm calling these guys up.

With so many options out there for solar install companies it was all a bit confusing. After doing…read moreresearch and reading reviews some great and some absolutely terrible I decided to to give Simply Solar a call as the reviews were nothing short of great. They were very prompt with their communications which was a great start. I scheduled an appointment with William on Aug 19, 2019. Here's the thing I loved most about the salesman William. He wasn't pushy at all with getting me to sign a contract or bugging me constantly if I had made a decision. He did check in a few times if I had made a decision but again not pushy. Not sure about anyone else but I hate pushy sales people and instantly get turned off. But back to William, he is a down to earth and up front salesman. Very knowledgeable about the product he is selling and helped direct me in the right direction. If your looking for honest accurate info William is your guy. So after meeting with 2 other companies just to see what my options were. I pulled the trigger and signed on with Simply Solar. The cost was a bit higher than the others but well worth it. Next person of communications was Ashley who is in house to keep the project moving forward. From start to finish her communication and timeliness in response was excellent. Ashley was constantly on top of communications with my roofing company as I was getting both done. As soon as the new roof was on the install Techs came in. I cant remember the names of the install tech but there were 2 of them and again like everyone else at Simply Solar they were top notch. Friendly, Super careful with the new roof, and went over exactly what they were going to do. I didn't realize how quick they would get it installed in just 2 days including a panel upgrade. After that was all done Dan again who was awesome came by to finish the stucco work where they had done the new panel upgrade and made it look finished. So now everything has been installed and we are just awaiting confirmation from SCE to go live. I have heard horror stories of people waiting months to be approved for going live with their solar. Simply Solar again was on top of communication with SCE and our system was up and running in less than a week after the install. Over all I think the whole process once things got started was probably less than 2 weeks. AMAZING!!!! Its been about 6 months now since I have had the panels and im so glad we got them. The first few months we were in the hole with SCE as the days were short but now that the days are longer and more sunny were putting more into the grid and chipping away at our yearly bill. At the rate this thing is running we should be close to 0 due. If your looking to go solar and want the best service, product and experience this is your go to company.

Dan later answered additional questions I had then adjusted quote. The installer, Carlos, looked at the actual site conditions then discussed various options (like spacing of posts, how far to set posts from edge of patio cover, where to put downspouts, etc.) with me beforehand. Every day, Carlos would keep me updated as to the work being done. Their electrical, Mike, installed the lights, outlets and controller exactly where(& how) I wanted them. It was not some "cookie cutter" install off a pre-set plan. Things were installed the way my family & I wanted. Brittany in office kept me updated on permitting process, scheduling, inspection, etc. Initially had company install a pair of attached to house, solid (& insulated) patio covers (at kitchen & by living room). Family was so pleased with finished patio covers that we had Rooms come back and install a 24' x 13' standalone, solid, insulated patio covers outside bedrooms. Carlos made all 3 patio covers blend together. Mike wired all the lights (8 in the initial patio covers & 8 more in the standalone patio cover) so that all are controlled be a single dimmer switch. Needed to have some concrete work done under the patio covers and nearby. Rooms' recommended concrete people, James Austin Concrete, did excellent work and coordinated with Rooms for minimum disruption to patio installations. Initially called 6 companies (all local 4 star+ on yelp) for quotes. Rooms was 1 of 2 that was willing to go through the permitting process with the City. A 3rd wouldn't give me a quote because I wanted the patio covers to be permitted. The other 3 companies said that because the existing wood, open lattice patio covers had been permitted (in 1989), a new permit was not needed. Don't believe them. Big difference between open lattice wood patio covers and solid, Alumun patio cover. Plus requirements change over time. Turned out that the required dimensions for the posts' concrete footings almost doubled in size (in all 3 directions). Getting a permit means everything is built to meet City requirements. Only downside is long wait (13+ weeks) for City to approve each of the 2 permits. Several neighbors have already asked about Rooms. Even the city's building inspector asked for Rooms contact info.
