The facility was clean, and the lady working the front desk was kind. I mentioned how I have had a spray tan in the past and didn't like how it started to look like a skin problem when starting to come off. She told me their products were different and this wouldn't happen. Well, it did. Same thing happened even aftrr not using a washcloth, but started to just flake and make my skin look splotchy and dirty. I use only organic pure soaps too. Expensive learning curve. read more

They have stepped up protocol during COVID-19 and I feel completely safe as they disinfect before and after your session as well as ask to you disinfect before and after as well. My first spray tan experience and the front desk guy rushed giving me instructions bc he had to jam...watever I watched the instructional video and read instructions on the wall... I'm mixed race with already olive complexion and got the medium to last 3-4 days for a Vegas trip...5 hours later I looked orange. After researching possible reasons for this the most common were 1) using a same tint on various different skin tones 2) the salon using a inferior quality dha. Not sure what's what except that I'm ORANGE! Next time will pay extra to work with a professional who will match my shade and spray me directly rather than a machine. read more

Instead of a misleading pricing monologue and unintelligible mumbo jumbo about contracts and membership fees, Troy provided a straightforward price list... what you see on the list is exactly what you pay. There was no pressure to make additional purchases. There were no hidden costs, no contracts or enrollment fees, and no surprise charges to my credit card. Instead of confusing and incomplete instructions given in a condescending tone by someone lounging behind a desk in the middle of a personal phone call, I was walked into the spray tan room and given a thorough explanation and demonstration of everything I needed to know. And I got a marvelous tan!!! Other pluses... extremely clean, appointments are not necessary, open every day, comfortable seating area with plenty of magazines should you have to wait a few minutes. read more

Troy, the owner, was there to greet me the first time I ever came in here, and it's a good thing he was or I might not have come back. He talked me into a higher-level bed than I was planning on taking (I'm an old pro at tanning and I really like to just, like, lay there). I'm glad he did, because it's well worth the paltry extra dollars I'm paying - my color looks great! The only real setback is that on every other visit, I've been "greeted" by other employees, one of whom finished a personal telephone conversation before setting up my bed. Honestly, I don't really care that he was on the phone - it's more that he couldn't be like, "Hang on," to his friend/mom/whomever and set up my session so I could go in, relax and get back to my life. On another visit, a different staffer ignored me for a few minutes while she clicked around online before saying, "Oh. Hey. Hang on," then made me wait another minute while she prepared herself for a customer interaction. Again, I'm not asking you to hold my hand and walk me down the hall; just click whatever you have to click on to make my bed start its little timer so I can go get less translucent. UPDATE: Since I first posted this, I talked with Troy about what was going on with his weekend high school employees. He addressed my concerns right away and I haven't run into a problem since. Stopped in yesterday for the first time. Troy was in and was fantastic in educating me on the beds and making recommendations. This was my first tanning of the season and I got by with little to no red even staying for the full time in the bed (pale skin is touchy at times). Because I don't go tanning that often, I know sometimes I can feel intimidated when I actually do go because the people working there don't really help you out, or show you the machines and how to use them. This was not the case here. The owner, Troy, was extremely helpful and showed me how the bed worked before I starting using it. I have a similar story to some of the other posters--so pale I'm almost see-through, never tanned before, upcoming wedding. And like them, I was very impressed going here. I was very nervous about tanning since folks with freckles don't generally tan well, and sun exposure usually just leaves me extra crispy, but Troy was so knowledgable and helpful; it immediately set me at ease. Originally discovered Simply Sun on Groupon and decided to call and get a little more information. The owner Troy answered and was very helpful. Told him that I needed to have a spray tan done before leaving Saturday for a trip and needed the tan to last until an event that I had planned on Monday. He recommended that I get "dark" with the VersaSpa. Went in on Friday around noon and Troy showed me the ropes (first spray booth experience). He warned me that I would be rather dark by the end of the first night, but after showering... it would fade to the perfect color.
