When I brought it to their attention, because I booked with them for them to check the incision site the next day after the ER visit- they asked if I had been drinking when they inserted the pellet. While I understand drinking (alcohol) would thin your blood, I had not been drinking. I found it grossly negligent as a trainer inserted the pellet. And despite being numbed I felt pain, which they knew during my visit. The assisting nurse numbed me more, but the ER said an arterial vein was clipped and that was the cause for the bleeding. No apology, no trying to make it right. They just tried to turn it around on something I did. It didn't feel good. I pay a lot of money for HrT. I am not looking to have to go to the ER to fix something I pay for out of pocket! I am not a drinker. I did nothing. Took it easy, in fact had been laying on my couch watching TV, when I got up, there was a massive amount ( ring about 4-5 inches in diameter that I bleed through on my couch, much less my underwear and pants. I did nothing feel it until the air hit the area, and this was about 7 hours later. I will not be giving my money here again. It wasn't that it happened as much as the response when I asked them to check the incision site the next day. No empathy or compassion for something they did, which does not work for me.
