She does the prettiest hair color I've ever had. (And I've had a LOT of hair colors!) Also she uses natural products which was important to me when I was pregnant. Finding a hair stylist who will do what you ask (instead of giving you the hair cut they think you need) is pretty much priceless, which is why I won't go anywhere else. I've seen another girl there, Rene, doing hair and it looks like she's really good too. She's never done my hair, but *if* I was ever going to "cheat" on Elizabeth that's who I'd go to. But this time, I really can't believe this, she ran out of color half way through and when she mixed up another batch, the color did not match the first batch at all. I wanted a strawberry blond balayage and what I got was back half brown and top half copper orange. $250 for an embarrassing mess I have to live with now for several weeks. I'm having to go to a different hairdresser and get it fixed. Then proceed to post my hair pictures acting as if she color corrected it, and it absolutely wasn't at all color corrected. Most of my family uses Hello Darlin, or specifically our stylist Pam Gomez, and we have always been pleased. It doesn't matter if it is my short, feathery greying hair, or my son's thick, long flowing locks, neither one of us has failed to receive compliments when Pam is through working her craft. As soon as I walked in to work after my last appointment, I was met with a chorus of compliments. While Pam is amazing and I would highly recommend you ask for her, it was not just her alone that impressed me with the salon. Built in a former home, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and the salon is clean and seems well organized. When observing other stylist that work there, I noticed that their interaction with customers was very similar to my experience with Pam. They are all very friendly, engaging and capable from what I have seen. Your kids can play in the kid area and if they have an accident there is a changing table with wipes and diapers in the bathroom! The inside is very nice with exposed brick and wood furniture. Great job refurbing the space. I've been twice so far, once for me and once for my son. My haircut turned out great and I liked the attention to detail. They use a straight razor around your neck. This is the only place in I don't know how long that hasn't missed the hairs around your ears leftover from the edge clippering. This is a great barbershop!
