Was a walk in and was seated and attended to right away. I'd never been before and didn't have a tech preference. Two male techs worked on me at the same time (a younger tech did my pedicure and an older tech sat next to me in the chair and did my hands at the same time.) I guess I could have explained my preference that they be done separately (I don't enjoy having to focus on my reach and holding still across my body. Also, feels like you miss out on the relaxing hand/forearm massage when the tech is working on you while you're in the pedicure chair.) The pedicure tech and I struggled a bit to communicate, but he did a great job. In fact, as I write this review, the color is still vibrant (although my toenails have grown out and are badly in need of a refresh!) The manicure (powder dip) was done haphazardly. It was very thick (thicker in some spots than others) and it was raised up from the sides of my nail beds. Did not look natural at all. I was headed out of town for a work trip, but soaked it all off when I returned four days later. Couldn't stand the appearance. I'm not likely to return without a specific tech recommendation and would request one service at a time.

I came in around the afternoon and requested for a waxing because i wanted to get a shape on my brows (i have asymmetrical brows) and i have been letting them grow out since the beginning of summer so when school got out and when they did the service my brows were completely high arched on one side while the other was very droopy and i just did not like them at all. So when i arrived home i just tried to make a shape myself with what i have left yet you can still tell where she messed them up at. Please take this advice and find other waxers in a different location i suggest going on social media and you will find better people.

I told the fellow doing my nails I didn't want the shape changed (I always prefer to do that myself beforehand) which he seemed to accept. After the dip was done, however, (and I wasn't paying too close attention) he grabbed one of my fingers and quickly filed the top to a very flat shape with a very rough file. I tried to pull away but it was clear he didn't understand. Since that one was changed, I just accepted him changing the rest at that point. I hated the way they looked. Last Saturday I tried them again but for gel, and I made sure the lady who did the manicure knew I didn't want her to shape them at all. She understood and was very sweet about it. Still, with the gel, it was too many coats and too thick. But it looked okay. Yesterday (Tuesday) the gel started lifting and peeling away from the cuticles to the point I had to remove it. It was really coming off. What I discovered is she didn't really do my cuticles (I thought she did... she was supposed to) and she painted over the top of them. Even the slightest bit of growth dislodged the gel. SO... my gel manicure was good for a total of 2 days. Pretty disappointing.

The nails were coming out much thicker than the photo, the shape was wrong, and my nail beds were starting to feel bruised. I told her several times that they were not what I wanted. She then stopped working on my nails completely and switched me to another technician, Nick. He tried to fix them but could not correct the thickness or shape. At that point I told him I hated them because they looked nothing like the picture. He ended up soaking off what she had done and I had to pick a completely different color because of how my nails looked. For my toes, I was told there would be three coats of glitter, but only two were applied and the glitter is barely visible. During the appointment I also told him I needed to be back in class by 2:00 PM and had not even had time for lunch, but the service still felt rushed. When I went to check out, I was charged more than what I had originally been told. I reminded them that I was quoted $48, but after speaking with someone in the back they refused to honor that price and only offered 10% off. I still ended up being charged $52. Overall, the service did not match what I requested, the technician did not listen to my instructions, the work had to be redone midway through the appointment, the promised services were not completed, and the final price did not match the quote I was given. I left with nails and toes that look nothing like what I asked for and am very disappointed with the experience.

I know what a lot of you are thinking why E Nails, their ratings aren't the best which will undoubtedly go up with the addition of Rachel - very nice lady. At today's visit Rachel of course did my nails, perfection as always. Kay did my husband's manicure - I do have to say Kay along with Rachel are a joy to laugh with during the entire experience. Make sure you make an appointment, with Rachel and Kay, I promise you will enjoy your visit. Don't be surprised the pricing is a bit higher, but this includes the ones coming around and cleaning the stations after every single use, so a few more dollars is worth it.
