Prices are comparable to other salons even tho the prices have gone up . Especially one that is going to charge me a full price of $60 for a pedicure that is Not even gel. That's a lot by the way. I need to have cleanliness, and I need a massage chair that works! I've been coming to this place for years now and will never go to another nail shop as long as I live in the area. Heather (the manager) is the absolute best. She's been doing my nails since I started coming here regularly. She has always been kind to me and makes nail appointments seem more like a visit with a friend. Heather's mom (Lan) also gives amazing pedicures. The rest of the staff is also very well trained and they all make sure to perfect the little details that almost every other nail shop in this area takes for granted. I tried almost all the nail shops in Oakley before settling at Sina's. They all did sloppy corner-cutting. EX; bits of polish left smeared around my cuticles, repeatedly cutting me with the drill tool due to carelessness, not cleaning up the underside of my nails, not properly taking care of lifting nails, etc. That's not at all the case at Sina's. Every person there knows what they're doing. This past visit Heather and Lan were all booked up, so Kelly did my toes and Diana did my nails. Both turned out perfect. It's nice to know that all the staff members take the quality of their work seriously. Like I said, as long as I live within driving distance, I'll never go to another nail shop, which is kind of ironic because the first time I tried this place (back in 2015) when it was under a different owner and had a different staff, I completely hated it. I came here two weeks ago and I had my nails done and they were wonderful I love them and that's the reason why I came back. But today though, I was so disappointed very disappointed. Overcharged for gel mani and gel pedi.... They charged me $96.00 for those two services and that's without tip. So after the nail tech completed the first part of the mani (before nail polish was applied) I decided to change my mind from regular manicure to gel manicure (again before polish was applied, all that was done at this point was cutting of cuticles and skin and filing of nails) the nail tech rolled her eyes got frustrated and started talking mad shit to the other nail techs. I received the worst attitude of my life and felt really uncomfortable. Then after I got the gel mani and gel pedi they charged me $96.... I didn't realize I was overcharged until I went to other nail salons who were much nicer who charged wayyyyy less!! Anyways be weary they will overcharge you in a heart beat!! read more

Went there for many years usually as a walk-in but I did call for appointments nothing fancy pedi-mani because I'm a guy. as a walk-in or even not a walk-in I was cast off to the person with least abilities. It was okay because it was consistent at least. My last visit there though some strange new employee and she charged me a third over what the going rate was. I was not sure about coming into another nail salon in town, because everyone of them has been a poor experience from quality, to customer service. So I was referred to Sina's spa and BOY OH BOY was I first off the bat empresses with the customer service even though every chair almost filled greeted me with a smile. They sat me right away and had the male owner ( so sorry forgot his name ) BUT WILL definitely be going back to him. I explained what I wanted and he did a amazing job and took his time. Made sure all the underneath and sides were clean from glue and excess product ( unlike many nail salons don't do ) and once those snag it's horrible. And at the end he offered to put a red flower on two fingers. I mentioned when he was doing my black French tip oval nails maybe a red thin line to represent my son who's deployed and husband who's fire. He truly did a wonderful job. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! Low review coming but before I write it I am giving the owner an opportunity to fix the issues. *** update: Rose the owner, called me back and will be refunding my money. Now here's my review. Hygiene of these place is very questionable. For starters they do not seem to clean their tool between clients, do however use a white towel as barrier between you and the working station. I went in for a refill and two nail replacements that ended up being three because my thumb nail had a gap between the acrylic and my nail bed. I asked if she would be putting glue or something to seal that gap and not permit fungus to grow, she (I believe Helen was her name) replied with "No". Knowing what I know from not attending Cosmetology but from getting my nails done ALL THE TIME, you need to make sure you clean it will permit little to no room for moisture to build. So I asked for a replacement. I think this is where I became "that" client because she wanted to use a nail to rip off the acrylic from my natural nail. Can you say NO! That creates so much trauma for the nail bed so I asked to get nail Polish removers to soften it off. The work was AWEFUL (see attached picture). Time passes and I REALLY tried to let her work and not be so OCD and on this poor girls ass, I could tell she was having a hard time already. So I put on a Comedy show on Netflix to direct my attention. Fast forward to an hour later and still not even close To being done. I asked how much longer, "30 Mins" she claims. I was stressing because I needed to be in SF by 5:30 but I let it be. Finally time to nail polish and this crap is bubbling, wrinkling and god knows what else. She kept trying to say it must have touched my skin, "No" I said, then it must have touched the machine, "No" again. Finally at 4:38 I had enough. She was getting the drill ready to start over and I was DONE by this point!! I just wanted to pay and leave! At first she said no charge go ahead, I didn't want to leave without paying for something but she said it was ok. I walk out and she comes out after me Saying never mind, pay for the refill. By this time I'm Pissed, embarrassed as there were other clients and super late so I go and pay. Stupid move!! I walk out only to see the damn nail polish wrinkling on most of the nails by now. I asked to speak to who I though was the manager but she's the sister of "Rose" the owner. She came out making excuse saying it was my fault because I don't have time and I made her use nail polish remover instead of the nail... Duh! Total health violations left and right. And they was just talking in there own language felt like they was talking about me because they was forcing me not to do soak off!!
