I always call ahead, and both times I've been able to get in at the time I needed without any problems. I've had Mai for my pedicure both visits, and she has been wonderful. She's easy to communicate with, does an awesome job, and I really appreciate that she doesn't try to constantly upsell you on additional services. I can actually sit back, relax, and feel pampered, which is exactly what I want when getting a pedicure! The prices are also very reasonable and don't feel overdone. Another big plus is the location the salon is in a shopping center with other places I already go, including for groceries, so I can get a few errands done at the same time. Having lived in Brentwood some years ago. I never visited this particular salon. During Black Friday, I decided that I wanted to treat myself to a pedicure and stopped in here. Previously before walking in there were two other clients being helped once I informed what I wanted. I was seated right away. I was welcomed when I arrived. Was very pleased with the service that I asked for I chose the middle selection for the pedicure spa treatment which was around $50. And a very polite and gentle lady, by the name of Nancy took care of me. My service consisted of, a certain scented scrub for my legs and I like the fact that Nancy was not very rough during that particular stage in order to not cause me to become uncomfortable with the Spa treatment. I am new to the area and have been trying out different nail salons around town to find one that will be my go to permanent nail salon. I think I found it with this one! I came in on Sunday with no appointment looking to get a fill and was immediately greeted by who I assume is one of the owners and was told it would be just a few minutes wait. I had an idea of what I wanted and a picture, so I chose my colors and waited less than 10 minutes. I showed her my design choice and asked her to help me pick out similar colors and tweaked it just a bit. She said it would be no problem and started on my fill. There was a man who came to do the design (I am assuming these were the owners, after seeing some other reviews) and he was SO nice and kept asking me if it was good and if I liked it. This place is a HIDDEN GEM!!! Must try!!! If you follow my reviews you KNOW I'm picky, honest and straight forward .....Can I just start by saying..... BEST FOOT MASSAGE EVER! My friends and I came over yesterday for pedicures and as with other nail places, I was expecting the typical quick scrub, cuticle cutting, quick foot massage and then nails painted. No. It was some deep massaging!! ALSO, they were very clean with their tools & put bags where your feet go, which is super important for me. I honestly think if more nail places had the nice deep massage, more people would rave about them. I originally asked for an orange color, and I didn't end up liking it and the lady was SO nice and kind and changed the color to white for me and still asked if I liked it once she was done. I requested a basic manicure but there must be a misunderstanding cause I ended up with gel manicure (didn't complain cause I needed the longer process - self care lol) .. and not complaining because I am fine with either, and Steven did an amazing job on my nails. I've been coming to this place for years. There's always plenty of parking. The place is extremely clean and the bathroom is never dirty. They only hire people here who do a good job. The owners try really hard to do the best they can to work with your schedule. Nancy does all my waxing and I would never try anyone else. She takes her time and it's painless. The prices here are extremely reasonable. I only get pedicures, this new guy Joe is really good. Took his time , gave great massage, and did my pedicure very clean. I went to the nail salon two days ago which is Tuesday and the Nail person Stephen got my gel fill done in 15 minutes, which to me is an incomplete Job! I paid $40 and they did a half assed job. I came back to the salon on Thursday and walked in and Steven says what do you want done I said my nails are broken they left me there for 35 minutes and then took me. Between this 35 minutes salon staff takes in to other customers that were walkins just like I was. I will never go back to the salon again. Once they fixed my nails that were broken they made a big fuss and then got his wife involve Nancy. At the end of all this drama she put the gel on my nails and I ended up walking out without putting it through the UV light. I was so mad, ended up going right to another salon and having a whole full set done,Guess what they lost out $135 because I paid the other salon that amount sucks for them. This place was option B, it was excellent! Please bare my detailed review-- Initially I wanted go to Tips & Toes (in same lot as LMC) but they told me to come back IN 2 HOURS! Really?! Most likely because there were only 2 techs and they were already with customers. Mind you this is on a Sunday at 12:30p, and Memorial Day weekend. They didnt look that busy. Decided to forget them and went across the street to Top Nail. Here I was greeted and started right away. There were at least 3 technicians-- one was greeting, another with a customer, and one (Mai) ready for my pedicure. This is good for business on a Sunday in general. Mai was friendly and up for conversation/ getting to know me. Nothing awkward or forced. She does/did have an accent but did not bother me. She was caring, made sure I was comfortable, like making sure the water wasnt too hot, etc. Super sweet! For $25, you get the usual pedi procedure, back massage chair and PLUS hot stone massage. (Mai even asked me if the stone was too hot!) I had no idea that was included. Total win! ****Tip: Bring Cash! If you use debit/credit, you are billed $0.50 to use their card machine. I wish I did so I could give a tip for Mai AND avoid their fee. Overall, excellent service and a relaxing time here. Quiet and peaceful, even when few customers came in too. The shop was cleanly, pedi tools and procedures were hygienic, only 1 mini TV to watch (if thats your thing.) Glad to say I have finally found a favorite place :) read more

My sister and I had a poor experience at this salon. We went here based on the reviews, because our other Salon couldn't fit us in. When we walked in there was only one other customer in the salon. First off, the nail polish selection is so minimal. We both got pedicures, and they were completely rushed. Mine look pretty good, but my sisters chipped that night. I asked if they had time to do a regular manicure and the lady said yes. She kept pressuring me to get Shellac so that it would last longer, so I gave in (my mistake) but it was seriously the most rushed, crappy job I have experienced. It took her all of 15 minutes tops to do them. My nails aren't even filed evenly. It takes twice as long, if not longer, for a regular manicure at the salon I normally go to. What I love about Top Nails? Its a kids free and quiet atmosphere which I appreciate. Nothing like going to get a fill or pedicure with kids running around the shop... What I think needs to be improved? Nothing but I do think they should drop the surcharge of .50 to use my debit card. Overall, I am happy to go to Top Nails.
