Wish I could give a zero to this Very horrible experience with the delivery of the scooter The scooter delivery was done correctly and the scooter fell on my hands They take full delivery payment from everyone but then their attitude is just to dump the scooter onto you They take help from you only to unload the scooty from the truck and that's also ok but with the attitude they carry it's not worth it I would rather get a bike from Somewhere else than here I just injured my hand because of this delivery as they scooty fell on my hands whilst helping the lady to take the Scooty down There is no proper tools or help for the delivery . We bought a Ebike from Sinclairs and had to return it for some servicing. We literally were scolded when we brought the scooter in because my son had crashed it and there were some scuffs and a few broken parts (cosmetic). We were then told we had to pay up front, even though they had not diagnosed the issue yet, or even taken a look at the bike. (Imagine that when you went to your GM or Ford Dealer?). The lady told me I could be anyone and just dumping the bike. I explained I just paid over $2200 for the bike 2 months ago, and she had no right to judge me or say I couldn't pay. (Just rude). We finally left the scooter (there is an electrical problem), for the repair and hope they repair it in good faith and not gouge us. Stay tuned... And stay away from this place. Worst experience I have ever had as a scooter owner. I went to Sinclair Motorsports early October 2020 to get a new ebike. While I was there I experienced the coldest and most unwelcoming customer service I had ever seen. From the staff not wearing their masks, to the way that they treated my mother and I, I am disgusted with myself knowing that I gave them business. After buying a "brand new" gio falcon from them, I was surprised to see that it was having battery issues 2 weeks after purchase and without much riding. I spoke with the lady on the phone and she asked me to bring it in. This was my first red flag. After lugging my scooter all the way from Richmond back to Surrey for them to check, they found that there was a dead cell in this "new bike" which is ridiculous that they sold me a faulty bike. They changed it under warranty and I hoped to not have to deal with them again, but lucky me- couple months later another issue occurred. I should say that I personally believe in taking a hit for a mistake that is on your part, and that asking me to rent a uhaul to lug my bike 2 cities over at my own expense put a very sour taste in my mouth. Especially when the business owns their own uhaul renting site and could have easily helped me out at barely any cost to themselves. I had back surgery so I wasn't riding it much for a couple months, however when I got back on it last month my motor issue sign began popping up on my dashboard. I called my local bike store where I had bought my first bike from (Richmond Ebikes go to them instead they're fantastic) to take a look at it and they did confirm that my motor was glitching and causing both acceleration issues and stalling issues. They quoted me for $760 for the fix but asked me to call the original store (Sinclair Motors) to see if it was covered under warranty (which it should have been due to the lack of use and how fast this occurred). After calling them multiple times being told "it's busy right now we will call back" or "give us a moment" and then hanging up, I finally was able to get in touch with the lady a MONTH LATER. She told me she would look into it with the manufacturer and call me in 1-2 days. Here I am 1 week later and no call back. I called today to find out the status to be yelled at by the man who works there telling me to bring it in and that there's nothing they can do, though the lady communicated to me differently. He refused to let me speak with the lady and rudely told me to "hold" while I was in the middle of speaking. Sinclair Motorsports not only sold me $2200 broken ebike, but they refused to help me find a solution to the issue they caused and disrespected me on many occasions. Their communication is sloppy and absolutely nothing like their reviews express. I hope this could help someone who is looking for a new ebike, Sinclair Motorsports aren't it. read more

Have you noticed how most of the reviews on Yelp have only posted 1 or 2 reviews? They could all be fake. Anyway, I saw the classifieds ads by "BC SCOOTERS" and phoned, and a woman said their real company name is SINCLAIR MOTOR SPORTS. That's one red flag, right there. I was calling about their "55KPH capable" Daymak Eagle, because the classified ads claimed an incredible 55KPH while going up a 24% uphill grade. Well, that would be an amazing feat, because to my extensive knowledge about electric vehicles, only a Tesla electric car could do that. On my phone call to BC SCOOTERS (aka Sinclair Motor Sports) Learned it was not a lithium powered battery pack, but rather, sealed lead acid batteries. I asked "how many batteries"? She said "5 batteries". Well, anybody who knows batteries knows that there has to be 6 batteries. So, her answer was wrong, for their "flagship" scooter. Also, she said that to go past 32KPH, a "chip has to be taken out", but they don't do that. The woman also claimed that the range was 60-70 kilometers. Imo, that is unrealistic in Metro Vancouver's hilly terrain. Real range would be 25 kilometers. Also, lead acid batteries should not be depleted past the 50% "depth of discharge" to avoid early battery death. Having owned several large electric scooters, including lithium powered ones that can go 40 kilometers, if the Daymak Eagle was pushed to 55KPH, its range would be likely 8 kilometers, at best. Also, very expensive "high discharge rate" SLA batteries would be required for the high amps. (I spent $600 for 4 of those "high discharge rate" batteries, once.) To sum up, I cannot believe the ads put out by Sinclair Motor Sports, aka "BC SCOOTERS" read more

When I was shopping around for a E bike,I decided to first do some research on what shop I wanted to purchase from.I read alot of reviews on many review sites,I read alot of nasty comments about this place,but I was not detered by the negative reviews and comments,so I decided to pay them a visit and see for myself. When I first walked in the door,the first thing I saw was this rather large woman was sitting on a chair smoking a cigarette,I recieved no greeting no nothing,not even a hello from her,just a blank stare,I was a bit suprised but I did not want to judge someone like that.I was looking around for a good 10 minutes before I asked this woman for help,when I did,she rolled her eyes,butted out her cigarette on the floor and slowly got off the chair and walked towards me.I was asking her some basic questions about the Ebike I was looking at,like warranty,battery charge life and cost of operation,she could barely answer any of my questions,she seemed more confused than I was about the product,it seemed like she just read a questionaire out of the owners manual.I was also asking about the free shipping they offer,due to me not having a vehicle that could carry this thing home,her reply to that was,there is no free shipping,the free shipping was included in the freight from overseas,but we will deliver it to wherever you want it,for $50 cash. I was not in a happy mood after I heard that,what was the deciding factor for me not to purchase anything from them,was the fact during the whole time,this woman was really pushing to get me to buy it,she kepted asking me " well do you want it or not". My experience with this place was somewhat similar like the other reviews I read on other sites,the products were covered in dust,the staff are rude and pushy and not very helpful,also during the whole time,the woman that was helping me(if you want to call it that)she smelled like she has been drinking and her breathe reeked of it.It makes me wonder if all those very positive reviews written about them are fake,cause there is no way I recieved any kind of top notch service during my visit there. DO NOT WASTE TIME OR MONEY HERE. I bought an electric scooter from here and after two months started having problems with it. To fix the problem I needed some detailed specs which the manufacturer would only supply to the selling company. I informed the owners of Sinclair motorsports that I needed this information. I was told that the problem was probably in one of two locations. I wasted a weekend disassembling and reassembling the bike to find out that they were guessing and really had no clue with regard to the electrical system of the bikes they sell, nor would they make any effort to look into if for one of their customers. I phoned the following week and expressed to them that I required this information to fix the 1100 dollar driveway ornament they sold to me at which point they said they would get the information from the manufacturer and e-mail it to me. Two weeks later I phoned to request the info again. I was told they were sending it to me. I phoned every week for months, every time I was told they were sending it to me right away, if I called back a few hours later it was the same story, they were working on it right at that moment. I finally went in to see one of their competitors, explained my situation, and after hearing about several other complaints they had heard about Sinclair motorsports, I obtained the information I was looking for. Do your research, if this doesn't persuade you in any way, check with the Better Business Bureau. They have a list of complaints filed against Sinclair motorsports. read more

we bought a quad for our daughter there. Good price.. as i'm buying it she tells me an extra 100$ to have it put together. REALLY? so we go ahead i go back five days later.. and what a change in her attitude. She was telling me all about the quad how to start and choke, etc etc.. but she was talking so bloody fast i couldn't hardly get it all. And she was so rude, like hurry up, your wasting my time. My adult daughter was with me, she felt the same. That should've been a sign and i should've walked away !! The first time i took the quad out, was pulling on the emergency stop that is supposed to be around the kids hand and the cord broke on it. Nice piece of crap, if i had to pull that hard and the stupid stopper didn't pop up, it sure isnt' going to off a small kid. WE used it twice... and the battery charger broke, The cheap litlte thing they give you came unsautered, so we had to buy our own charger. when i called her she didn't seem to care. the battery lasted two uses and we had to buy another one. I called and asked what kind of warranty on battery. NONE.. in fact there is only 3 months warranty on manufacturer stuff.. of course, cause after 3 months, it's garbage. we've had this thing for three months, have used it twice, it's been sitting for almost two, we finally get to surrey and she is so freakin rude to us, like we are stupid and we did something wrong. She talks to you like you are a two year old, not friendly, not smiling, nothing, like really, you are coming back.... my husband explained we are now out $200 with all we've replaced and she just shrugged her shoulders. Thanks.. so she says 89$ an hour to work on it, but we're busy, so you can pay $100 to leave it. I've never heard of having to leave money to have something repaired.. i paid $800 for it, as if i'm gonna not come back. we ended up going to chilliwack and found a place there and with telling my story to the guy, without saying who.. he guessed. SINCLAIR MOTOR SPORTS.. he says they get their crap ALLLLLL the time to fix.. SO DON"T BUY FROM THEM.. THEY WONT" SERVICE OR DO ANYTHING FOR YOU !!
