I'd been dragging my feet on finding a new dentist after my longtime dentist retired but after losing a crown on one side and cracking a filling on the other, I was in dire need of dental help. Dr Pham squeezed me into her packed schedule so I could go on my two-week Xmas vacation in comfort. After the antiesthetic wore off, I found that my bite was a little off but Dr Pham stayed after hours to adjust it. She observed that the gullies in my molars and the thin edges of my front uppers were due to grinding and recommended using a mouth guard. No previous dentist explained the symptoms and consequences; I've been using a guard at night and refraining from grinding during the day (possibly a larger contributor than the nighttime grinding) and am already seeing the benefits. Dr Pham and her staff are amazing. Her office is bright and welcoming and modern, and there is plenty of street parking with no meters. I've had two cleanings here in the last year. When I had a conflict with an appt date, they were great about getting me rescheduled and didn't let me forget! Dr. Pham did the thorough cleaning both times. I hate the anticipation of going to a dentist. It's not a spa day for sure, but she is as gentle and attentive as possible. She gave me good suggestions for follow up care. She has an office assistant who can reference my insurance and see what kind of costs may or may not be covered. Very happy with Singleton Smile Dental! My wife and I just moved to the island from the Peninsula. So, trying out a new dentist can be a bit of a gamble. Using their online system, I was able to schedule an appointment fairly quickly. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted with a warm welcome, and a painless check-in process. The team still takes COVID precautions seriously and even performed a temperature check. This is a huge plus for me since I'm a nurse who works in a COVID unit, and appreciate the precautions. Was seen by Dr. Pham who performed a very thorough exam and cleaning. She even noticed that the wear on my front teeth were likely due to grinding at night. I never knew I actually did that. However, my wife has noticed it at times. Also had a chipped tooth that needed fixing. Dr. Pham scheduled a follow-up appointment for that week to get that fixed. My second appointment went even smoother than the first. Was in and out of the office in under an hour with a repaired tooth that has been working well so far. I definitely appreciate the service and professionalism shown by this office. I am a recently new patient so I went in for my first check up/cleaning. The office was very clean and welcoming. There was plenty of parking around/near the office. The staff were friendly and helpful. They listened to my concerns, walked me through services provided and what next steps would look like. They also explained what was/wasn't covered by insurance. Their office used high tech equipment, their dental chairs were comfy, and they have tvs on the ceiling to distract you. They even gift you a tote bag of dental goodies at the end. Singleton Smile is very inviting, peace and the customer service was awesome. Check-in was easy just on an ipad where I just filled out my birthday. The rest of the paperwork is filled out online so the process was really fast. The staff were all very prompt and friendly. Dr. Pham was very thorough and kind. I came here for a normal cleaning and was in and out without feeling rushed. Dr. Pham even took the time to show me how to floss to get the best result. Came to Singleton Smile Dental today for a new patient exam/routine cleaning and I was definitely impressed! Dr. Pham was gentle and thorough with the cleaning. She made sure I understood what was going on every step of the way, made sure I wasn't in pain, and provided me with great oral care instructions . She even gave me sunglasses to wear during the session so I won't be bothered by the light from the lamp, which was very kind and considerate. Michelle helped with my imaging and teeth polishing. She was also very nice and gentle. Vicky sits at the front desk, she's welcoming and sweet. I took off my earrings for the imaging and somehow, she remembered, and made sure I didn't forget to grab them on my way out of the office . I was looking for a new dentist who was closer to my home, so I went to Singleton Dental after reading other positive Yelp reviews. I was very happy with my choice. First, it was very easy to book an appointment. I could do it online or call the office where my call was picked up quickly. I was able to get an appointment the very next week, and I only had to wait a couple of minutes when I arrived at the office. Also, as other reviews have mentioned, parking was plentiful with no meters, which is always a plus. During the examination, Dr. Pham was very thorough and detail oriented. She closely examined my teeth and gums. During the teeth cleaning, she was also very thorough in scaping away my plaque buildup. At some other dentists, I've found that teeth cleaning is just like the dentist is brushing your teeth again, and I've wondered whether it was worth it. However, during this visit with Dr. Pham, I really felt that she did a great job to ensure that my teeth were really cleaned. After the cleaning, Dr. Pham also gave me some good tips on what else that I could improve with my daily brushing and flossing.
