My makeup was flawless, and I was incredibly impressed with my hair. My hair is thin, see through and my scalp shows. Marissa made my hair look like I had a full set of hair. I was in awe, and so happy with the final look. The makeup part was relaxing, and Anastasia did such an amazing job. This was my first time bringing my child here for a haircut. I had been told by the staff during a…read moreprevious shopping visit that they offered haircuts; judging by the equipment and décor, I assumed it was a professional establishment--unlike other salons that might just hand a little boy off to an apprentice. I arrived with high hopes, only to be disappointed. 1. The stylist was likely an apprentice who had only recently obtained their license; their technique and handling were very clumsy. The attention to detail, in particular, was painful to watch. 2. After washing my child's hair and drying it off, I noticed there was still shampoo foam left on his head. When I pointed this out, the stylist simply wet the towel and gave it a quick wipe--that was it. I asked for another rinse, but the stylist refused, claiming that was their standard procedure. I even offered to wash the remaining foam out myself, but they wouldn't allow that either... It was truly disappointing. I had originally intended to see how the haircut turned out before booking an appointment for myself, but given this level of service and skill, I'll be steering clear of this place.

She has a cute sit up all to herself which is nice. She is very friendly and makes meeting for the first time very easy, not uncomfortable when you met for the first time. I ended up finding her on yelp, because for a while I was going to someone else but she ended up moving. Then I found someone else at the same salon (not here), I went to her twice. Once for a trim and highlights, and the last time for the same thing and both times was not what I wanted. This last time she messed up the cut and the color made my hair orange. So I found Mackenzie and had an appointment yesterday. She not only corrected the color but the cut. I love it! Daughter approved! I literally sat there and watched her mix things that I've never seen done before. She had another customer coming in and she didn't allow that to be rushed. I even offered to just leave with wet hair and she said no she was drying it because she needed to see the finish project. We were both pleased. (Sorry it took longer than expected). I honestly believe I have found someone who knows what they're doing. And will be seeing her in 8 weeks for touch ups. I think she has an IG (I do not), that she posted before and after. Maybe she'll read this and post them here. I hope so!
