We biked here from our hotel and I am so glad we did. I got a vanilla cold brew and it was yummy, my daughter got a matcha. My son got an açaí bowl that was delicious. My daughter also got a breakfast sandwich that was so good we got another. My son even got me a cute hat.

The 1/2 sweet HOT Dirty Chai is the bomb! Perfect every time! I love the new lids on their cups. Cute and functional. The baristas are quick with filling orders and make a perfect cup every time.

That was indulgent, buttery,and had the perfect texture. -Banana Nutella muffins 5/5 The muffin was moist and rich in banana flavor then the center had rich and gooey chocolate. It was heavenly! The staff were very welcoming and genuinely warm. The service was really fast. Definitely, I will be back to try their açai bowls and order more drinks.
Came to this place after craving a smoothie. Parking is street parking. This is a small shack with no inside but there is covered seating to the side with a couple of tables. The service was friendly and fast. We got the mango and peach smoothies. Extremely refreshing!

Awesome place to stop on the way to San Diego. We had the opportunity to stop here for the first time this past weekend and it did not disappoint. We placed an online order for one of the acai bowls, an iced honey matcha, and an iced vanilla matcha. Everything was excellent, especially the acai being sourced from a small farm in Brazil, you can truly taste the difference! I had never tasted such a flavorful acai before that wasn't mixed with other juices. Dare I say it's the best quality acai I've ever experienced?! You won't regret a pitstop here! Thank you to the nice ladies who gave us our order!

Loved everything from Sip n Sea!! They have a great menu and everyone working there was so friendly. OG Acai bowl was phenomenal - one of my favorites in the area! The honey is incredibly flavorful - I've never noted the honey as a standout ingredient of an Acai bowl before but whatever honey they use is so floral and delicious it adds a really special flavor to the bowl. Great acai base as well that isn't too sweet. Matcha latte - I got the honey lavender and even with that flavor added it was not too sweet which I really appreciated. I stopped by with my pup Waffles, who was very happy about his pup cup, and I tried the seasonal Banana Cream drink. It was absolutely delicious creamy, flavorful, and not overly sweet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The coastal vibe, friendly staff, and dog-friendly atmosphere make this one of my favorite spots to grab a coffee and enjoy a slow morning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Waffles gives it two paws up, and I'll definitely be back for another Banana Cream before the season ends! read more

Since the ordering window for this place is next to a large mural with boba fett wearing a boba tea cup I actually thought it was a boba shop. It's more a coffee shop that also happens to sell some boba (not that there's anything wrong with that). They have a nice selection of coffee, pastries, craft tea, smoothies, and acai bowls. Honestly I thought their boba tea selection was somewhat lacking with only five or six choices. But their boba itself was good. They had the good ole standby of tarot as an option, which was nice. This isn't a store you go into. There's a window you order from and then there's some picnic tables you can sit at. There are some parking spots available at the motel that is next door. Just be careful to observe the signage so you know you're parking in the designated ones. read more

Coming from OC to SD, I wanted to find a place along the way where I could get a delicious matcha and acai bowl - ideally organic! That is how I found Sip-N-Sea. Located in my favorite little ocean city, lies this adorable shack. They say good things come in small packages. Well, they're right! I got a vanilla matcha with coconut milk and the coconut acai bowl. All I can say is WOW this is the best acai bowl I've tasted and I have tasted MANY... Other places I've tried like to drown out the authentic taste of the acai berry with other fruit juices but not here. The flavor was prominent and enchanting. I seriously couldn't get enough of it! The coconut puree was like ice cream - just divine. Every bite I had kept me saying how good it was. The matcha was perfect as well, but the showstopper is their acai. Parking: 5/5 They've got a designated lot, which makes parking a breeze. Fun fact: it's only a 7-minute walk to the beach from Sip-N-Sea! If you're up for a stroll, you can park right across the street. Food: 5/5 I tried the Cream Cheese Pumpkin Muffin. Pumpkin perfection: soft and fluffy! The filling is just the right amount of sweet cream cheese. A perfect fall treat! Beverages: 4/5 The Chunky Monkey Smoothie was good, but a little too chocolate-heavy for me. I was hoping for more of that peanut butter kick, but if you're a chocolate fan, you'll probably love it! Customer Service: 5/5 The staff onsite was super friendly, and their social media manager was very helpful with my questions. It made the experience even better. Ambiance: 5/5 The seating captures the laid-back coastal vibe of Encinitas. At Sip-N-Sea Cafe, you'll find picnic benches under a pergola structure and a mural wall that pays homage to the local Leucadia beach scene. Definitely a great spot to chill. So there's pretty much an açai bowl place on every corner in Southern California. But this place really stands out. I was staying close by and it was within walking distance so it became my morning ritual. I will miss it greatly. I had never had coconut cream in an açai bowl before and it was so delightfully tasty plus they have delicious gluten-free granola. Their shop is super cute on the side of the road in Encinitas! But they have a parking lot, so no worries about the parking. Located next to the sea with boutique shops and food, there's a lot of stuff to do. Their staff was super nice and helped pick out a coffee brew. Their gold brews are nondairy but somehow, the one I ordered was a great sweetness and also smooth! Would come again for sure. read more
